Bishop John Mambo
Bishop John Mambo
Bishop John Mambo has encouraged Zambians to bury their differences arising for the August 11 elections and move in unity regardless of political affiliations.

He says it is every ones responsibility to create a better Zambia after the elections.

Bishop Mambo says there is no need for name calling or mocking one another.

He says the UPND exercised their rights to go the Constitutional Court to petition the presidential, adding UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema and his vice president Geoffrey Mwamba will go down in history for the spirited fight they put up before the court.

Bishop Mambo says going forward; people should rally behind the President-elect Edgar Lungu.

He however, states that Zambians should not hesitate to speak out whenever they feel the president and his vice are not delivering to their expectations.

  1. France has ordered a recount of presidential election ballot papers in Gabon. Why can not Britain do the same in Zambia? Let us not allow lawlessness to take root in our country. If PF won fairly, the recount will prove so. Why is it that every legal action is being blocked by PF and compromised judges? This is a recipe for anarchy.

    • We are not under French nor British elections rules and Constitution. Zambia is an independent nation, with its own courts to determine Constitutional matters.

    • Consistently I have warned that HH will mourn this extended funeral alone as a personal to holder. Normal Zambians have all but moved on with the Chagwa Glory train. Nevers is frustrated sore loser a false prophet philosopher without philosophy just chasing for rental money and food from the mourner.

    • 1.1 True because even BBC alluded to the fact that our elections were very transparent. Unlike Gabon in Zambia election results are sent directly from polling centers by FAX and e.mail and whitinessed by agents of all parties and observers. There were areas in Gabon where voter turn out was 99.9% but a physical check proved that less than 30% voted.

    • Simple…the EU, where Britain belonged (before BREXIT) declared the elections free and fair….HH has NOWHERE TO RUN…Sorry.
That is not the case with Gabon….In fact we need to check the voter turn-out in Southern Province….In Zambia the elections were rigged by the opposition that’s why Britain can’t come in…ke ke ke ek ekk eke

    • From inception, the polls in Gabon were not free and fair. IN Zambia, even the European Union held a press briefing to tell the world that the elections were free and fair and that the results announced were correct. So why recount?

  2. That type of thinking is likened to biblical woman who the woman’s child to be so that both can be childless we don’t need neocolonialism this is why name calling won’t end because of these Israelites who never appreciated God’s redemption

    • Chakolwa’s thugs can rally behind him and help him develop Zambia. Isn’t that what they have won – the right to ruin the country with their stoopidity? Why do you want the rest of Zambians to share in Lungu’s mediocrity?

  3. And we say we have leaders in this country? What is so difficult with recounting these votes so that we know the true winner? How can you move forward with matters still outstanding? As things stand, Zambia has no President because we do not know who won these elections! Only a recount will settle this matter! Why PF scared of a recount?

    • We already know who the winner of the election was and we are just waiting for inauguration. You are the only one who is in the dark. The EU said the election was fair though we don’t need them to authenticate our elections because we an independent country, at least politically.

    • @kazhila it is also the way the lawyers representing your leader presented the case. The forcused so much on amendments meanwhile time was ticking instead of bringing out the evidence that hh claimed he had. Surprizingly they started asking znbc for evidence. So kazhila i can comfortably say that the water case we were told never existed however, the lawyers have gone to the bank smiling.

    • PLUS THE CONCOURT NOT HEARING THE MATTER IS A BREACH OF THE CONSTITUTION. MINISTERS STAYING ILLEGALLY IN OFFICE IS A BREACH. ECL REFUSING TO HAND OVER POWER. ECZ REFUSING TO GIVE US A FIGURE THAT ECL WON BY 50 PLUS ONE ARE ALL BREACHES OF THE SO CALLED CONSTITUTION HOW CAN WE MOVE FORWARD NOT GETTING THESE FACTS. ZAMBIA IS A CORRUPT COUNTRY AND WORSE UNDER PF. ALL TRUE CHRISTIANS OF CHRIST JESUS SHOULD BE ON THE STREETS IN A PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATION DEMANDING THAT WE GET ANSWERS TO ALL THESE QUESTIONS. BISHOP MAMBO YOU CANNOT SERVE TWO MASTERS AT THE SAME TIME.

    • Stop boring us with your useless negativity. There is nothing you can do to change the fact that Zambia has a President and he is ECL. If you do not like him, that is your problem but that does not mean he cannot be a President just because your candidate lost. If you do not accept the results, that is your other problem, you learn to live with it until it chokes you to death. Who cares about you anyway. ECL has it in the bag for the next five years. Why should you cry over something you have no control of. We told you that insults and regionalism does not work and you never listened. Just kick yourselves for being thickheaded instead of making noise like unruly kids. behave like mature adults for once.

    • Moses, so today Mambo is being paid by ECL? Does it mean when he was supporting HH, HH was paying him? The truth is that reality has dawned of Mambo, just like it will for many HH supporters. They are now realising that ECL is not a push over. The good thing is that he knows to say it is over when it is over. The elections are over and it is time to move on to another phase. Why do you want him to continue wasting time on a losing horse. he has the right change camps, that is his right.

  5. Ba Bishop, you never thought ECL would win the elections. You shouted very loudly against him so that HH could hear you and possibly appoint you Ambassador to Canada where church men turned diplomats convert Government money into personal. Well there you are now! HH may appoint you as Chief Herdsman in Namwala where some Bembas have ran away. As for ECL he heard all your insults. You and Chief Mukuni own up.

    • WHEN THEY COME UP TO OUR CORRUPT COURTS ONEDAY AND LOSE THEIR CASES TO SOMEONE WITH MONEY TO PAY THE JUDGES ONLY THEN WILL THEY UNDERSTAND HOW UNFAIRLY HH IS FEELING AND ALL OF US WHO S VOTES HAVE BEEN STOLEN AND DENIED JUSTICE.

  8. We know the winner of the election in Zambia and we know that the THIEF and his supporters want him wrongfully inaugurated following wrongful acts by 1. ECZ, 2. ZNBC, ZRA, State Treasury, Council officials, ZAF, Con-Court – to mention but a few! PF are simply DEAD SCARED of truth!

  10. @ keen shame on you. Busy calling pf theieves yet you failed to establish facts of how votes were stolen from your hh. We have been saying and you dont listen, instead you want to give what people are saying on social media as evidence in court. The time you will do a due diligence test on your selves the better other wise 2021 will also pass you by. You choose to believe your own lies this is what happens and by the way we want to move on now! Patiently waiting for Tuesday.

  11. *Does Your Case Have an Expiration Date?*

    Extract from Jay Anthony’s Article

It is generally thought that every person is entitled to his or her day in court. But, in many cases, *an invisible clock is running*, counting down the time before a case can no longer be heard.
Statutes of limitations are rules set by state law which provide that certain legal actions must begin within a set time period or they are barred. These time limitations vary greatly depending on whether a matter is a civil case or a criminal case.
In general terms, criminal actions involve some offense against the State (such as murder, theft, or DUI), while civil actions involve an offense against the person (such as trespass, professional malpractice, or breach of contract). Many actions constitute both…

  12. The UPND zealots complaining about ECL must now realize the folly and lies of HH when he told you that he controls the Zambian Intelligency….How can you lose with proper intel to a President who doesn’t have control…Can’t you think? HH controls the Intelligency so he declared; therefore, he is the one who rigged the elections but he didn’t rig enough….Sorry

  15. Ballot papers at all polling stations are counted more than once and indeed to the satisfaction of all parties. If ballot papers are counted more than once then “recount’ has occurred. Then when does counting and recounting start and stop by your suggestion. It was neat and smooth and it is all but over until 2021.

  16. Let’s learn to move with God’s time also and accept that God is God. He has all man’s systems under His authority. We risk God’s judgement or indeed untimely death when we struggle with God. I believe both UPND’s Mr Hichilema and PF’s President Lungu know what God has spoken about this election or indeed their political careers and one of them might be trying to deceive us. It’s okey to struggle with man but not God. Almighty God cannot be manipulated or corrupted or mocked, those major attributes of God distinguish Him from us who can easily be manipulated. We more often chose to ignore the truth even where the writing is so clear for us to interpret.
