Pro’s Hit List

Leagues resumed across the World this weekend after the FIFA international match week. We track some of the players who were called-up and those that were not summoned for national duty.

Striker Evans Kangwa came on in the 73rd minute in Gaziantepspor 0-0 away draw at Adanaspor on Sunday to play his second league game in his first season at the club.

Defender Stopilla Sunzu was an unused substitute at 15th placed Lille’s 4-1 home loss to leaders Monaco on Saturday.

He has made just one appearance from the bench from four games played on August 20 in a 1-0 home win over Dijon.

Midfielder Chisamba Lungu on Monday night played the full 90 minutes in Ural’s 3-1 away loss to Rubin Kazan who are 11th and 10th on the log respectively.

  1. There is now disaster in the administration of Zambian football. Kamanga is clueless in the running of football. Nowadays you hardly hear of our National Team participate on Fifa sanctioned days for friendlies to expose our young and newly discovered talent. I see the worst days coming in terms of Zambian football. We may even be knocked out of the World cup qualifiers just three games are played. I now see that Kalu did great deal of a job during his tenure as FAZ boss. The fruits he planted are currently being yielded. Let two to three years elapse when we start leaping Kamanga’s efforts, it will be total disaster. The FAZ councillors
who ushered in the Kamanga administration MUST take responsibility for the mess in the running of game.

  2. Truly spoken, nothing makes senses to me in football now. Mr Kamanga says, he is committed to improving football. What is happening is not inspiring at all. What is lineup for national team? Nothing to inspire the confidence of players.
