Kabwe Warriors beat relegated and bottom of the table Mufulira Blackpool 1-0 in Kabwe on Friday to stay unbeaten under interim coach Kampamba Chintu.
The result saw Chintu pick up seven out of possible nine points since replacing Mohammed Fathy three games ago.
Lameck Kafwaya scored the games lone goal in the 58th minute to also hand Warriors their first home win since July 22 when they beat Lusaka Dynamos by the same margin.
The win lifts Warriors from 7th to 6th on 43 points, exchanging places with Red Arrows, who are on 41 points and only play on Sunday away to Lusaka Dynamos.
Meanwhile, the defeat is winless Blackpool’s 13 league defeat in a season they have collected just 12 points from 30 matches in their first season back since 1999.
