The ruling Patriotic Front has warned longstanding party members against overstretching their right to exercise freedom of expression and opinion on party issues.

PF Deputy Spokesperson Frank Bwalya has particularly advised position holding senior party members to be cautious not to bring the name of the party into disrepute through their utterances.

Mr. Bwalya says any such member that uses their position to make utterances that bring the name of the party into disrepute is liable for disciplinary action.

In an interview with QTV News, Mr. Bwalya says the disciplinary action will range from verbal warning, suspension and expulsion from the party depending on gravity of the case.

Mr. Bwalya, however, says this does not mean the ruling party does not respect members that have suffered for the party since formation.

He notes founding members deserve respect, but do not on the other hand have a right to close the door for other new members who want to join the ruling PF.

Mr. Bwalya states that no members, whether founding or not, is in fact allowed to disrespect any new member by using the reality that they have been in the party the longest.

  1. Does Frank Bwalya have a job he draws salary from or he get allowances for statements on PF?
In fact I expect him to be preaching at Regina’ funeral gathering.

    • I remember how abusive This Frank Bwalya was of the late Michael Sata (MHRIP). Now these are the minions dishing out the orders and passing out threats like candy.
And Kambwili has been cowed into silence, Guy Scott is never heard from. PF is no longer. It is now an uneasy amalgamation of new blood without respect for the old guard and external job-seeking elements like Mutati and MMD hunger-stricken f00ls.

    • How un inspiring is this backwards thinking Bwalya.

Warnings, after warnings suggests the insecurity that he feels among the people around him.

Here is the clearest sign, and example of a person that practically is difficult to gauge what he offers the party.

      A complete waste of space

      Thanks

    • Ba Bwalya as much as you are generally a good guy, sorry but anything to do with bringing in former senior MMD members must be avoided- MMD is a dangerous evil virus. If PF splits it will be because of MMD members in PF who are there to destroy the party from within. As for selfish and greedy old timers like Kambwili- to hell with them, they may be old timers but they are not founders of PF. Also Kambwili is basically in the same category as Masebo and the United Dunderhead heroes GBV both abused their offices- to hell with the whole lot.

    • Each time this guy Frank Bwalya shows up, he is only issuing warnings. What type of a person? PF do you love that?

  2. @ Frenkie Bweelya:
Just keep yapping relentlessly. You cant deceive us – we know that Lungu went to Israel for TREATMENT. The Oesophagus is giving him sleepless nights; the Voice is going slowly plus always dizzy whenever he stands up!!

  3. Freedom of Expression is a right of all citizens. One can not stop people from speaking their minds even if they belong to a grouping. Attempts to silence members indicates the beginning of dictatorship. People must recognise that in a democracy freedom of expression is prerequisite.

    • In as mush as people are to recognise that in a democracy freedom of expression is a prerequisite, all the Deputy Spokesperson is trying to bring out is that the grievances should be channeled through the established structures, unlike washing dirty linen in public!

  4. Is Frank Bwalya the Secretary General, Disciplinary Chairperson or party deputy spokesperson? Why is he always giving orders in the party? I thought his is to inform the public and party members of new developments/decisions or indeed party programs. He doesn’t sound like someone who is reporting a decision that has been reached at by the powers that be but like someone giving directions or orders. By the way, who and where is the party spokesperson?

  5. Recognition and respect is earned and not demanded or forced. Why are PF Diehards, Clergymen and failed Politicians clamouring to get HH to recognise Lungu b4 the Petition is heard? Lungu has said he wont talk to HH becoz he knows that HH will insist that the Petition be heard first. Hearing the Petition is problematic to Lungu becoz it will reveal that Lungu lost the Election outright and is clinging to power illegally. HH & GBM after March 2017 should take their Petition to ICJ and put AU and SADC to shame. Legally the Petitioners have a very strong case and Lungu will be shamed. With the Evidence available ICJ will rule that HH was the Winner of the 2016 Election and the challenge will be to transfer power to him. We will need an Ecowas in Zambia for the purpose.

  6. @1.4 2020vision

PF without MMD can not do anything. The meagre gains you see in the economy are due to MMD otherwise Zambia would be totally broke with the PF theives in charge of our coffers.

  7. I think the list includes Jerry Chanda, Guy Scott and Gabon Disaster national heroes stadium. The boy cant name them. And the one who sent him just told him to warn. Poverty Fabricators(PF) full of Comedy

    • Cant a Human Resource Manager fire you for theft even if he joined your organization last week? It’s the authority drawn from his position an not how long he has been in the party!

    • Is theft similar to expressing your opinion? The very fact you do not understand the principles of loyality and intergrity..you have clearly lost me.

  8. He cant even mention their names, but he is warning them. Its Mwenye Musenga and Kambwili u coward. If i can find pf cadres like Frank Bwalya and Kambwili fighting, i cant stop them, i would simply put a truck of crushed stones in their midist and enjoy the show.
