Enugu test looms for Zesco in Confederation Cup

Zesco United will face Enugu Rangers of Nigeria for a place in the group stage of the 2017 CAF Confederation Cup.

Enugu were relegated to the Confederation Cup after Zamalek eliminated them 5-3 from the pre-group stage of the 2017 CAF Champions League this past weekend.

Zesco will be away in the first leg in Nigeria during the weekend of April 7.

The Ndola side will later host Enugu in Ndola on April 15 to decide who goes through to the group stage.

Zesco are targeting qualify to the group stage in Africa for a second successive season after making their semifinal debut in the 2016 CAF Champions League.
