First Lady Esther Lungu has called for harmony and coordination between the ruling party and opposition political party leaders.
Mrs. Lungu says there is need for co-existence between opposition political parties and the ruling party for the country to achieve its intended development.
The First Lady says politics should not be allowed to impede the country’s development process.
Mrs. Lungu was speaking to ZNBC News after attending the National Address by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni in Uganda.
The First Lady said she was impressed to see how Ugandan President Museveni was interacting with opposition members.
And Mr. Museveni said he has developed a leadership style of working with opposition political party leaders for the benefit of his country.
He said he does not encourage leaders who are always bringing politics into economic affairs.
