We Will Do Our Homework On Zambia-Baxter

Bafana Bafana Head Coach Stuart Baxter’s side will be gearing up to face Zambia in the third round of the Chan qualifiers.
The South African national team secured a 3-0 aggregate win over Botswana to advance to the next stage of the qualifying round.
Bafana will be welcoming Zambia on the weekend of August, 11, 12 and 13, before travelling to Zambia that following weekend for the return leg.
“It’s important not to concede at home but it’s vitally important that you get a goal. So we have to be a constant threat whilst we defend solidly enough and manfully enough to nullify them. We got a little bit of information on them in the game when we came back from Nigeria – they are a mobile team, physically strong,” Baxter told the South African Football Association’s official website.
“We will do our homework and make sure the squad is prepared properly,” he added.

  1. Even if Bafana add Jose to their bench we can still beat them both at home and away as long as the boys (ours) don’t think in terms of. ‘…we are poorer than South Africa…” We have a superior game, period.

    • Baxter is wasting time. Which Zambia is thinking of, it changes all the time. Some times they feature tall ones, then Green Buffaloes, another game Zanaco…
      Its a mess.

    • Kekekekeke! Poorer doesnt translate into worse. Otherwise the USA would have won the World Cup ten times by now

  2. Old Rivalries at work.
Zambia no longer plays Champagne football so watch out SA as there can only be one Lion King in the Southern Pride.

  3. Iwe mubunu? You will get blasted by the mighty Zambia, we are better than sasa afrika ala.

  4. Baxter! Always dreaming in media. We are not like Zimbabwe who can keep one team for 6 years together just win COSAFA. You are planning using fake data. For us such games are used to gauge players not to crack our heads. Moreover SA is not a footballing Nation for us to prepare. Will pick the team a day before travelling to country.
