Police in Chipata district in Eastern Province are still looking for a father who is alleged to have  shot dead his 19 year -old son for wearing his mother’s trousers.

Eastern Province Deputy Commissioner of Police Sharon Zulu says the suspect Martin Mwale has since vanished , despite having assured his family that he would report himself to police after shooting  dead his son who is a grade 12 pupil of Chipata Trades Institute secondary school.

ZANIS reports that Ms Zulu  in an interview today said that, the suspect as most likely fled into neighbouring Malawi where he allegedly owns businesses.

She stated that police are still carrying out investigations.

Last week, Mr. Mwale allegedly shot  his biological son Martin Mwale Junior on the left thigh after it was reported that his son wore his wife’s trousers which annoyed him extremely to the extent of shooting the deceased.

The body of the deceased has since been buried while his father is still on the run.

  1. Hahaha kuti waseka kwati nachiwama. Kwena yali ni drama. Maybe the boy is a closet homosexual who needed help.

  2. This father is facing the music from his children for bad upbringing. Teach your children whan they are young,

I saw another step son stop school in grade eleven just because he was introduced to her sweet area. Umwaice alilekelapo nesukulu so that he creates more time to do the job when the father was at work underground. He was a shimaini like…
