  1. Damn it!
    You should be talking to M.I.T, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, Cambridge etc;
    The damn Russian colleges are too blunt to give us an upper hand.

    • You only marry a woman that loves you. You cannot force anyone else to marry you no matter how much you love them. Your M.I.T, Harvard etc are good but are they interested in a relationship with Zambia?

    • Yes they are, Zambia has to reach out to them, many Zambians here would be happy to facilitate on behalf of the Ministry.
      Zambia has to satisfy their standards requirements, but we always want the easy way to success, hence the cheap Russian and Chinese alliances.

    • Mark my word . Only their relatives with 30 points are going to benefit from this exercise because the PF government doesn’t have a mechanism in place on the way they are going to select students o go and study in Russia

  2. Time wasting PARTNER with Chinese universities cos. almost all infrastructure in Zambia is done by chinese companies, they need to bring industries to manufacture trains (rolling stock ) in zambia, put up an oil refinery for bitumen for the roads, What infrastructure has russia , USA, BRITAIN , CANADA built in Zambia? Lets swallow our pride and embrace the chinese but give them conditions to manufacture key materials required for the infrastructure projects in Zambia

    • YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE STARTING FROM THE TOP WHO HAS COMMENTED SENSIBLY. YOUR COMMENT MAKES A LOT OF SENSE, THOUGH EVEN PARTNERING WITH RUSSIA IN NUCLEAR PHYSICS WOULD YIELD FANTASTIC RESULT AS LONG AS NEW PURPOSE-BUILT UNIVERSITIES AND RELATED INDUSTRIES ARE CONSTRUCTED IN ZAMBIA. AT THE SAME TIME ZAMBIA CAN PARTNER WITH CHINA IN THE MANUFACTURING OF TRAINS AND TRAMS FOR THE LOCAL AND SOUTHERN AFRICAN MARKETS AND YONDER. MIND YOU, RUSSIANS ARE VERY GOOD MATHEMATICIANS AS WELL AS IN CHEMISTRY AND PHYSICS.

  3. Anyoko, when you get china to fund assist whatever you want to call it they THE CHINESE, tell us what conditions they will have for us, the key one is chinese companies arecawarded the contracr and run the contract,we pay them and repay any loans. If you doubt read up on the silk road project and the communist party meeting on th 18th of october.swallow our pride and china will swallow us

  4. There is no coherent policy in Zambia and Africa at large……we blacks are more interested in holding on to power at any cost.

    The Chinese know it is during election times, the 2 years before elections, is when to get the nig.gers to sign for anything , those in power are so desperate to hold on to power at any cost that for campain chitenges from china they sell the country….they will just sign

  5. Zambians cannot win Tenders against Chinese Contractors. Reason is simple. Most tablets, laptops and computers being used in Zambia have Huawaei chips and components that communicate information to China as our Zambian contractors compile their bids. In short, the Chinese “Hack” Zambian bids before they are submitted allowing Chinese Contractors to undercut them. What clever countries have done is not to use Huawaei components. Does anyone remember how Huawaei were kicked out of the USA not so long ago for the underhand methods? Zambians need to wake up.

  6. It is a step in the right direction. There are so many sectors in which other countries could also play a role. Thumbs up for taking this initiative.

  7. PF is creating lots of work for the next administration with peoples agenda.

    This is another repeal of 2021.
