Zambia to face Cameroon at Levy

Share

Levy Mwanawasa Stadium will host Zambia’s formality 2018 FIFA World Cup Group B qualifier against Cameroon.

The two sides will meet on November 11 in Ndola to close their unsuccessful 2018 Russia qualifying campaign.

Cameroon and Zambia finished 1-1 in their first leg meeting last November in Limbe.

Zambia and Cameroon are 2nd and 3rd on 7 and 6 points respectively heading into the last Group B qualifier.

Nigeria qualified with a match to spare on an unassailable 13 points following their 1-0 home win over Chipolopolo on October 7.

  1. bring in KALABA NATHAN MBESUMA PLUS THE UNDER 20 BOYS , WE NEED TO FINISH WITH A BLAST ON DOMITABLE LIONS. THIS IS WADAS LAST GAME , NWANKO KANU HAS AGREED TO COACH CHIPOLOPOLO UNDER LOCAL CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

    • Play U20 boys. Time to look into the future. There are some u20 boys who are good but have had no international games after world cup games. we are not fighting for anything. We have an opportunity to expose the u20 boys to real football.

    • Exactly y we dont move forward; mbesuma is finished, age and weight. Kalaba is full of skill but no results on the national side. Sinkala… katwishi… i really dont see how that guy features in mid, he doesnt control or create play.

Move on and build with the current crop. the fusion of the young breed is what has made the difference. Now teach them to be winners, never say die. Play with pace.

  2. Before raising the fever on this match, FAZ needs to tell us how far they have gone in fetching our robed goal in Nigeria. Let us not be cowards, let us fight for what belongs to us. Senegal has just done it.

    • careful what you wish for..ifya ku complaina complaina see what happened to Chile..zambia problem arose when Nija boys beat us on home soil and a poor draw away to a poor Cameroon..we did a good job on Algeria but too little to late mate..!

  3. Since there is nothing at stake other than pride, I propose that we use the team which will be playing in January CHAN championships. This will be part of their training. Wishing the team all the best.

  4. Very soon, the Zambian Coach will start talking tough and he will still be defeated by Cameroun. Mr Nyirenda, please I am waiting for your tough talks. I want to hear Mr Nyirenda speak the same way he was boasting before he came to Uyo.

    • Close your mouth Nijaboy! You never won fare and square you should be ashamed…. You paid the referee and threatened him with a kidnap by Boko Haram if Zambia won.

    • @ TRUTH -SELENIKO TWIKALE, I really feel for you. The loss was too painful for you chaps in Zambia ! We trounce you in Ndola and Uyo. Cameroun is coming to do the same thing. We didnt need Boko Haram to defeat you and win AFCON in 1994 and neither did we bribe the referee to defeat you in Ndola. You chaps are bad loser and one is not surprised that some of you went to attack the poor Mother of Ngonga .

    • You should be embarrassed by that performance by Nigeria. If it wasn’t for that phantom offside, you’d be singing a different tune.

    • @concerned citizen. On the contrary, we are proud of the performance of our team. Of what use was it to play ‘well’ run like a horse and lose? Any west Africa team playing against a Team from South Africa knows what to do: let the SA team do the running like a horse and wait to catch SA team on a counter. Your Team came with the impression to impress the people back home whilst our Team was focused on victory. Moreover, our coach didn’t have to be mouthy and boastful .moreover, we don’t attack our players and their families even when they are unable to achieve victory. Finally, we didn’t need to field inexperienced team for a World Cup qualifier.

  5. my own understanding which i believe should not disturb any one i suppose so, lets bring in the all under twenty who participated in Korea for this match!

  6. The coach is doing a great job and he needs our support. Rome was not built in one day. We are currently building a team for the future with players that are committed and displined.

  7. @Nijaboy, you talk of beating us in 1994, are you not aware that we had just lost the whole team in the plane crash of 1993? That team you beat in 1994 was a second string team which was assembled hastily so you can’t boast on that, some countries or clubs take ages to build a formidable side after loosing one in an accident. In fact they gave you a very big scare. As for for the game in Uyo don’t cheat that you were waiting for that moment to score that goal the fact is, we gave you a very big scare again. For your own information there were only two under 20 players in that squad” Mwepu and Fashion Sakala so don’t lie to the world that we used the under 20s.

  8. Chovix… You forgot Nigeria beat Zambia 2-0 in Semi Final of Algier 90… Before you lost your team.. May their souls rest in Peace.
Zambia are not in the same class with Nigeria. Nigeria were in the class of present Zambia 20years ago.
