Those students deserved the beatings they received because they are aware of the consequences of such riots. Every time students take to the streets and starts destroying properties they end up in cells or been beaten and they know this fact.
Nkandu Luo should call an end to late payment of food allowance to avoid riots. This is problem of lack of leadership. Only seeing situations from your own perspective instead of dealing with the root problem, the actual cause of the problem. Pay the students on time and avoid riots.
