Exiled musician Pilato has refused to meet Zambia’s Ambassador to South Africa Emmanuel Mwamba after the envoy offered to meet the artist and Amnesty International officials.

In a statement in response to Mr Mwamba’s olive branch, Pilato said he cannot meet the envoy because he lacks integrity.

Pilato said Mr Mwamba has no reputation for caring or speaking for victims describing him as simply a make-up artist for criminal acts even against his own brothers and sisters.

He said Mr Mwamba survives by justifying corruption and the corrupt.

Below is Pilato’s full statement

AM NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE MEETING. SORRY

By nature humans don’t listen to what is said but to who is saying it. That is why it is very important for every leader to posses a certain level of integrity because it doesn’t matter what you say, it matters who is saying it.

Ambassador Emmanuel Mwamba lacks this level of integrity. All he needs is a good pay and he will say anything. He speaks out of duty not out of conviction. He has no reputation for caring or speaking for victims. He is simply a make-up artist for criminal acts even against his own brothers and sisters. He survives by justifying corruption and the corrupt.

This is a brilliant young man who has offered himself to serve as a mop for cruelty and crimes against humanity. His job is to lie to the president that the international community is under his armpit, but what is worrying is the fact that he is squandering his own future just to stay relevant today. I fail to understand why he is so much in a hurry to discredit himself and the office that he holds. Maybe this is something we should pray for as a country.

Against this background, i find it hard to sit in a meeting with a man whose job is to dress-up crimes committed by his boss. I would rather sit down with his boss instead of wasting my time in a meeting with a man who can’t speak his mind. I dont speak to shadows. I have no time for men who disrespect themselves like that. I would rather sit and talk to myself than talk to someone who has abandoned his own mind just to get a salary.

In his attempt to sound smart, he is belittling the death threats against my life. As i read his statement, I asked myself, who has paid him to embarrass himself this loudly?

Does he want to see me killed so that his government can claim not know who did it?

Do I have to die for him to know the threats were real?

The levels of desperation exhibited by ambassador Mwamba are so worrying but thats what you expect from leaders who are guided by greed and selfishness. They can do or say anything as long as they are gaining something. These are men who have cremated their own consciousness just to have a job.

My advise to the most excited and undeplomatic deplomat is, yama bukeni. You are young and intelligent, be an instrument of benefit to the people not only to those who have conspired to rob our country. You are sacrificing too much for too little. Wake up my brother and see that there’s something more to life than just money and power. Quit being a devil’s pawn and let the light of God shine in your life.

Thank you

  1. Pilato is playing to the gallery and is not as intelligent as he tries to portray himself…Pilato will regret soon as currently he’s choked with his dagga smoking…

    • I personally dont care if he is not as educated as he tries to portray himself[and by the way bwana Zakeyo go through the rot you have posted and compare to Pilato’s write up then if you have a conscious i expect you to be ashamed of yourself].These PF cadres how is he expected to regret soon? You people amaze me.This issue is being followed world wide and that is all you can say?Muletusebanya muleliafye then you shut up,not exposing your small minds to the entire world.

    • @ Mailon, I can see you are below average in terms of thinking capacity and you have lamentably failed to decipher my simple assumptions on your dirty hero Pilato mascarading as an intelligent artist and by the way I never mentioned in education in my post because I know that one can be educated but not smart okay…

    • Why is poverty in “quads”? as you have put it. To answer your question=You have all created it. How? You would probably ask. It’s all in your thinking. Here you are supporting a two bit artist with no real cause, running away from nothing but his own thinking most likely brought about by dagga smoking. It all boils down to paranoia and most likely brought on about by imbibing the herb….you numpties here have run away with his so called cause…you have failed to see his ploy. Which is reality a UPND ploy.

  2. Who killed President Chiluba? Who rushed to State House to write a speech when President Sata passed away (even when he was not employed by government)? Pilato – stay away from that meeting for your own safety and may the Angels of Heaven make a hedge of fire around you so that no evil shall ever find you. Amen.

  3. Pilato’s case is serious and his reaction to Mwamba’s levity and lackadaisical attitude, is understandable.
Pilato has a Credible Complaint which should be handled with the seriousness it deserves. Pilato has the right to Life, Security and Liberty that are being threatened by State sponsored Terrorism. No one has the right to threaten or take away somebody’s life.
Before the announcement of Election Results of 2016, RB Banda refused to concede defeat and his evil intentions of rigging the elections in his favor , using the OP , failed. His sordid intrigue to use the Military to stop Sata from getting into State House, also failed. Meanwhile, the OP sent personnel to Sata’ s with evil intentions. It is at this time, Emmanuel Mwamba and Xavier Chungu went to the USA…

  4. Pilato just soberup. If you start running away from thugs it means you are dinning with them. Otherwise they will not know you.

  5. The majority of the people who fought for our independence have not gained anything but they did so so that the rest can be free….civility does not come from a class room…it comes from the right upbringing…..so that musician is civilized and is ready to fight for others ……nothing to regret about……

  6. now PILATO is taking headlines in our precious newspaper, please lets write stories of CK how is he doing in cells, what of HH is everything normal like kunyenga, kunya, kutunda etc after coming back from prison ,

  7. The chap has actually succeeded in dribbling most of these bloggers. He says he can’t meet Emmanuel Mwamba because, according to him, the Zambian envoy cannot be trusted. That’s not bravery as some of these bloggers have indicated. That’s stupidity. He just wants to stay in South Africa, that’s all. But time will come when you will need Emmanuel Mwamba. Remember, for as long as you are in South Africa, he is your father away from home.

  8. Pilato is justified by what is saying. Look at Kalaba, he resigned as a Foreign Minister because of rampant corruption in government. He is being threatened by his own party. Look at Kambwili who has some cases to answer in regard to corruption. Kwambwili’s supporters were chashed, some beaten, some butchered by pangas by his party PF. It is a shame for our own government not to act and is silent about it. You can not blame opposition parties for this.

  9. Please leave the BOY alone.
Who is buying his music wherever he is?
The poor boy is on ARV and his he has now realized that his music is not selling so well because Lusaka is PF territory.

  10. Pilato my brother, you’re not alone. Be safe. Thanks for using your Mic to speak for the voiceless and the cowards.
You’re my fellow soldier and I salute you.
I don’t know whether or not you can see my email address, if you can and if need be get in touch
    Kalebalika mune

  11. Simply inspirational! I couldn’t have said it any better. I love this Pilato guy!

  12. Prominent people gave been killed in Zambia and we have never seen any one convicted for such crimes. Ronald Penza was shot dead, lawyer ngenda died mysteriously, another former deputy minister of finance was shot dead, Tembo. Police shoot people and no investigation are done. That is Zambia.
