The United Church of Zambia (UCZ) has referred to the Nigerian Pastor who was arrested with drugs as unfortunate.

UCZ Bishop Sidney Sichilima said the people appointed as prophets are supposed to lead an exemplary life to the people around them.

Speaking in a telephone interview with ZANIS yesterday, Bishop Sichilima disclosed that the situation is not good for a leader.

He noted that men of GOD should not involve themselves in misconducts such as drug trafficking.

The 42 year old Nigerian Prophet Isaac Julias Amata arrested for trafficking in Ephedrine is a well know prophet who correctly prophesied President Lungu’s election victories in 2015 and 2016.

Bishop sichilima stated that the situation was disappointing on the religious point of view because men of GOD are supposed to bear good fruits always.

He said the moral standards from men of God are supposed to be beyond reproach for many people to look up to them.

The Bishop said drug trafficking is not good for either civic, political or especially religious leaders who are supposed to lead everyone by example.

He further urged men of God not to get swayed from God’s calling for personal interests but that, they should follow Jesus’s example to help the people that believe in them.

    • Minister of religious fimofimo madam sumailing will call for a week of prayer and fasting to cast out the evil from this pf inclined profit.

    • A clergy collar does not make you a prophet. Please refrain from using that term. This man is not even known in Nigeria. Why are Zambians so gullible.

Akapuba aka na ka afro at Prophet!

    • When the government was chasing his frineds you called them names. 99% of all prophets of this generation are fake. You will only believe my judgement when they sleep with your wives or they swindle you of your cash. Where on earth do you find a prophet who is only after Finances, Females and Fame?

    • Only in zambia this f00l was supposed to be jailed and after serving his term deport the id!ot.
BUT what has Edgar Ngoma got to do with this offering silly explanations! Does he think we are as dull as he is?
This is one crooked Nigerian period !

    • No blanket condemnation, please! This prophet could have been a victim of drug peddlers; pure and simple. Nigerians are good, brotherly people. And their nation, a great African country. Truly, AFRICAN!!! Unlike some countries, which though in Africa, actually pass as European countries in Africa; where anything goes; yes, anything!

    • Actually, BLANKET condemnation is suitable in the case of the many fake Prophets. 99.9% or higher are fake. Each of them is a Snake oil Sales Man selling fake products: Prosperity by magic and healing by magic. They deceive people that all you need to do to get rich is to give the Prophet a ‘seed’ and shout I receive. Instead of eating healthy and exercising, these charlatans give false hope to their mindless followers about their health. They do not tell it as it is that whether or not you believe in God if you lead an unhealthy lifestyle, you will acquire cardiovascular diseases like Diabetes and Hypertension and Heart Disease. When they acquire these diseases, the Charlatans even ask for more cash so the sheep travel to Nigeria or South Africa for healing … It is a sad thing that…

    • Yes, even Congolese papas. Why should they come to Zambia as if there are no people who need prophetic deliverance in their countries of origin. And some lost souls are even busy papa, papa….

  1. How does one get the title of Prophet ???
These are not prophets but conmen. Why coming to Zambia? Why not practice in Niegria where there are a lot of lost souls dealing in a lot criminal activities. Unless he came to Zambia to just make money and in which case Zambians must be very stupid people to allow to be abused like this.

  2. Our Brothers and sisters from Nigeria have built a very bad reputation all over the world: They have a global network of conmen who steal money from people, even the poor; they have a global network of Drug Trafficking – wherever Nigerians go, including government and military officials, they flood the market with Drugs – it appears, its government policy of Nigeria to encourage Nigerians to fend for themselves, wherever they go; I’m just watching a TV documentary reporting on a Nigerian woman caught with 80 pellets of Cocaine in in her stomach, at Sydney Airport in Australia – she has been jailed for 7 years in Australia.
Please be cautious whenever you are dealing with West Africans, particularly Nigerians.

  3. This is rather sad.Honestly Christianity is between you and God,we go to church to get understanding to the book which is the Bible. One has authority upon their lives,to declare prosperity, good health,to all generations to come in ones family..Christianity doesn’t not mean stupidity, and lack of reason! The prophet said he steps on me,eat my hair,DEPOSIT MONEY,over night prayers with him(he sleeps with you Male or Female),drink salted water blah blah,,This is what you get,I really don’t blame the white man when he says African are ignorant and don’t invest in reading to aquire knowledge to develop ourselves,We are free from slavery, but yet our mindset is enslaved..This man probably has millions of blind followers who trust me will start apologising for him ,and he will have press…

  4. The only peoples with a borrowed religion. What do you expect!? Nifyo fine mwe mbwa mwe you will continue to be fo.oled by id.iots as they steal your birthrights, your livelihoods and the very fabric of your societies! Yes, you can vote me down as you struggle to accept this truth!

  5. This prophet crap is really trending especially in Zambia! I don’t understand whether one has to have that stup!d accent to be called prophet! Very gullible people especially women…being shagged all in the name of blessing the womb to bear fruit…malabishi! Icho bachigwila, conmen these!

  6. This Nigerian P.F Cadre “Man of Gold, & Chagwa” was just doing a “Test Run” in preparation for the launching of the PF Zambia Airways, when it would have been all gun2 blazing to raise campaign funds for Jona’s farce 2021 bid.
I’M AMAZED HE COULD PREDICT JONA CLINCHING THE 2021 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, BUT COULD NOT PREDICT HIS ARREST, THIS NAIRA CON BOY!!
Just like T.B. Joshua another Con Boy who couldn’t predict his compound collapsing, we have other Money grabbing Con people like Godfridah on the loose, stealing from the vulnerable superstitious poor Zambians.

  7. Listening to some of the comments posted convinces me that there are too many stupid and gullible people in Zed. Drugs planted? My ass! Wake up and smell the Nigerian poo you morons. You deserve to be conned by these so called prophets.

  8. African countries need to pass a law requiring all religions, pastors and so on not to acquire luxury goods. They should also be mandated to build a school to teach children education and their religion. Even a school with one or two block buildings will show that the prophets and their churches are dedicated to developing the community – now that is real GOD’s work. Otherwise they are just scammers stealing the people’s money in the name of GOD.

    • I like the original missionary outposts. The standard was Church plus a School, a Health centre and some sort of a trades training facility in agriculture, carpentry, metal work, etc. Our Ministry of religious stuff should come up with a standard like that for these mushrooming churches and their christian practitioners. There should be some tangible benefits to our people not the current one way traffic of benefits to the men of Gold.

  9. People should read the bible and interpret it well, there is no prophet this time only those who walked with Jesus Christ were prophets. Fake people care less, they use the name of the Lord to gain possessions. Wages of sin is death,God Will humble those who exalt themselves.
