Mighty open eight point lead

Mighty Mufulira Wanderers opened an eight point lead in FAZ Division One Zone Two after thumping Gomes 2-0 on Friday in Ndola.

Wanderers scored through Ronald Chibwe and Joseph Chewe to move to 57 points after playing 24 matches.

Indeni remains second with 49 points and have one un-played match.

This Week 24 match played at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium was brought forward owing to Mighty’s involvement in the Barclays Cup quarterfinals next week.

It was the only game in Zone Two played this weekend.

The rest of the Week 24 matches will be played on the weekend of September 29-30.

Meanwhile, Wanderers now remain with six matches in the 2018 campaign.
