Highlights Barclay’s Bank Cup 2016 Edition Quarter Final: Kabwe Soccer Youth Academy vs Nkana at Nkoloma stadium on Saturday, 17th September 2016.
Nkana have joined Zesco United in the 2018/2019 CAF Confederation Cup after Simba SC dumped them out of the CAF Champions League group stage.

Nkana on Sunday lost 3-1 away to Simba SC in Tanzania to bow out 4-3 on aggregate.

Striker Walter Bwalya put Nkana ahead in the 17th minute before Jonas Mkude equalized in the 29th minute.

Mddie Kegere and Cletus Chama found the target in the 45th and 88th minutes for Simba respectively to end Nkana’s 2018/2019 CAF Champions League ambitions.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Zesco were eliminated 2-1 on aggregated by TP Mazembe of DR Congo following a 1-1 final leg draw.

Zesco and Nkana are now Zambia’s only two continental group stage hopes heading into the January’s pre group stage draws after Green Eagles and Green Buffaloes were ejected from the first round.

  1. Is this a shock or it was bound to happen with any Zambian team competing on a higher level. People have been saying, try other sports like boxing, hockey, baseball, wrestling, fencing, swimming, horse racing, tennis, track and field, kick ball, lacrosse, and biking. There so many sports other than soccer which can bring glory to this great country. Invest in grassroots, and amateurs than this failed sport

  2. Failures all over, this country also! As long as there is number one failure in our opposition, Trib.al Hacks, so shall it be in our soccer. We can only start winning in 2021 when T.H. will be eliminated completely.

  3. I VINDICATED, I SAID IT YESTERDAY THAT TOMORROWS HEADING SHALL READ NKANA RELEGATED TO PRE STAGE THE PRINTER WAS ALREADY SET UP TO TYPE THE HEADING LAST NIGHT, MULOBA ILYAUMA BANGWERE DONT JOKE WITH TANZANIANS ASK CHICKEN GEORGE

  4. Be!utasha Kali kwisaya, that is the nature of some Zambians! In case of Nkana, right from the word go, the referee started behaving like Jani Sikazwe!Shouting and wrongly warning Nkana players! The free kick which led to the goal was not properly taken as the referee didn’t signal to be taken! The opposition has potholed the minds of many Zambians with the attitude of negativity and non appreciative!Look at the way Nkana players were transported, s small Rosa bus!!And uoi start insulting Zambians teams? No ways, only dogs will say football has gone to third fellow dogs! Referee contributed to the torture Nkana went through, even BBC football analysts condemned the referees biasness!! Go Nkana, you have a chance in the confederation cup!

  5. Zambia players need schooling on professional football. They spend most of their time showing off on the pitch as if its not a team. Compare them with “expatriate” footballers we have in the league. The guys know why they came to play, it gives them exposure to other bigger leagues. Compare also with the young guys playing in the bigger leagues EPL, La Liga, they make more money and still have purpose to play.

  6. We are to blame compare the support simba got to ours full of small children.
Camping should be in relation to climate, temps, etc.we have low and hot areas like Livingston, kabompo and many more this was seen nkana players were failing to run because of breathing problems.
Faz should develop video libraries and makes sure has its own.its not that north Africa they are good its these 3 they use to advantage them
