Power Dynamos sack Kaindu

Power Dynamos have sacked Kevin Kaindu after a patchy start to the 2019 season.

Kaindu leaves the stuttering Kitwe giants after year and four months in charge of the six time champions who have changed five coaches over the last nine years.

He has been replaced by veteran coach Fordson Kabole who was fired in 2012 in what was the first spark to the roll-call of coaching changes at Arthur Davies Stadium since then.

Kaindu leaves Power at number five and are six points behind leaders Buildcon on 17 and 23 points respectively from twelve games played.

Power finished sixth during his first season in charge in 2018.

His sacking comes a week after suffering a 1-0 away loss at Nkwazi and his fourth against the Lusaka club since his appointment at Arthur Davies.

Meanwhile, Kabole jumps straight into the ring of fire this Saturday when Power hosts Nkana in the Kitwe derby.

  1. Power dynamos as usual its too late for this change to pay any dividends. This should have been done a long way back. Power have got a lot of resources but poor administration.

  2. Why did he leave Zimbabwe even if economy there was bad, to come at get his career destroyed like many others.

  3. Fordson Kabole again? This decision is two steps backwards in my opinion. The could have scouted for better coach.
