Zanaco defender Taonga Bwembya believes they can avenge their first leg loss against unbeaten Kabwe Warriors today and also redeem themselves for last Saturday’s away defeat at Nakambala Leopards.

The Pool A leaders hosts fifth placed Warriors who were first team to beat them in the 2019 by 3-2 on March 2 in a match Zanaco where leading 2-1 just before the hour-mark but later had striker Rodger Kola sent-off to spark Warriors comeback.

“They are very beatable and it was evident in the way we played them when we are eleven- against-eleven in Kabwe where we scored two quick goals but we were left to defend when we lost one player,” Bwembya said.

But Zanaco again come into this afternoons fixture seven days after they lost 4-2 away at seventh placed Nakambala Leopards.

“The preparations have been OK we have been working on our mistakes in training. They have also been some changes in the defence and I am sure we are capable of keeping clean sheet,” Bwembya said.

Zanaco know nothing but a win will do this afternoon with defending champions Zesco United hot on their heels at number two on 26 and 24 points respectively with three games to go after this afternoons Week 15 fixtures.

Zesco have a fairly easier job away in Kabwe where they date relegation-threatened new boys Prison Leopards.
