The Patriotic Front (PF) has resolved differences that had arisen between its party structures and the mobilization committee on the Copperbelt, Party Secretary General Davies Mwila has disclosed.

Speaking to journalists after chairing a party meeting with all provincial and District party leaders, Copperbelt PF members of Parliament and mayors, Mr. Mwila said the two parties are now expected to work together following the ironing out of their differences.

“It has been a fruitful meeting, and all the issues have been resolved, and we expect that they will start working together as one, now we expect peace and unity going forward, ” Mr. Mwila said.

He explained that both Mr. Nathan Chanda the Provincial chairman and Mr. Lusambo, the chairman for the mobilization committee attended the meeting which took about one hour 30 minutes to resolve the issues that prevented them from working together.

And Mr. Mwila has warned that the party shall not tolerant any indiscipline from any member.

He said disciplinary action will be taken against anyone that will be found insulting party leaders on social member.

And Provincial Chairman Nathan Chanda said the two parties have resolved to move together as a united force and deliver victory for President Edgar Lungu in the 2021 general elections.

“But what we will not allow is some few elements that may want to take advantage of the misunderstandings that were there, we will not allow indiscipline, lawlessness but we want to work together with love and unity of purpose, otherwise me and my brother Bowman, we are good to go and mobilize the Copperbelt province,” Mr Chanda said.

And Party National mobilization Committee Chairman Bowman Lusambo said the part of the mobilization committee is to help the structures and not to grab their positions.

“Our aim is to ensure that we return to Parliament all the 22 members of Parliament on the Copperbelt and increase the numbers for President Edgar Lungu in the 2021 general elections.

President Edgar Lungu two weeks ago during his visit to the province directed the party Secretary General to resolve the issues.

  1. Nathan Chanda is a peacemaker! Small as he may be. The man is tolerant. He’s a reconcilor and anchor for the party on the copperbelt. Not long go he reconciled the Kalulushi mayor and MP. Any way dynamite comes in small packages. I would award you the insignia of peacemaker.

  2. What reconciliation, I am PF, the guy they put as mobilization Chairman knows no decorum, process or procedure, he is overzealous and is a pure Cadre not a professional. That smoke screen called reconciliation is not going any where. Mark my words compatriots

  3. PF cadres like Lusambo think they own people of Zambia.. We know you own the president you forcefully installed and that is why he can’t displine cadres.. Don’t take peaceful Zambians for granted.. Your day of reckoning is on the way.

  4. You’re dreaming Mr Pineapple face Mwila! The problems will only get worse. That Bootylicking Baboon Lusambo can’t agree on anything with anyone, not even with that Kakunkubiti of ka Chanda. Even if they did, we just need to bring the mighty CK from the Opposition and they will get confused and start fighting again. You undermined yourselves by antagonising CK so it’s self inflicted. Forget about the Copperbelt; PF wilk be lucky to get even one MP. The whole province is gone to Bally, whether Real or Imaginary and it’s too late to reverse the trend. Kalaba and Mutati will further confuse the few remaining PF loyalists

  5. This is how we do it!!! The evil upnd diasporan members were praying for this to escalate into confusion. However we in pf respect the norm that the party comes before personal interests. The upnd leadership could learn a thing or two from us because their hh comes before the upnd. It is all about him. Without hh there is no upnd. Clear signs of a dictatorship

  6. Bombasa will strike again, remember he is a self confessed bootlicker, that’s the protection that gives him confidence to misbehave and even call people names and even Panji kaunda being called a full

  7. There is a chap on this blog who is always mis guiding himself talking for UPND when he has never been appointed UPND spokesperson. He misled his boss in the PF government and misleads himself daily now.

  8. What is needed is change of leadership on the copperbelt. Bowman has already shown the boldness to tackle the and mobilise our structures on the most important province for our survival . The formal structures are failing us. After all we were once clobbered by CK’s 2 days old NDC party in pour backyard. There are wrangles in our party throughout the whole copperbelt between mayors and sitting MP etc everywhere because of his inability to offer leadership . And by the way there is absolutely no need for a parallel mobilisation structure, had the formal structures been working. They are busy trying to protect their positions instead of campaigning. The honeymoon is over , this is the time to work and not squabbling for positions. whether you like it or not the people on…

  9. Lusambo muntu wesu n he’s doing a magnificent job on mobilization .He even rescued a lot of people from contracting covid 19 n should be honoured for the selfless acts ayi KZ.

  10. No doubt Lisanbo is hard worker. If not the opposition would not talk against him or insult him. Those who do mothing like upnd SG lkatuta are sage from criticism.
