First Lady Mutinta expected in Kabwe

First Lady Mutinta Hichilema is tomorrow expected in Kabwe, Central Province for a one day working visit.

Provincial Permanent Secretary Milner Mwanakampwe said at a media briefing that Mrs Hichilema is expected to touch down at 10:00 hours.

The media reports that Dr Mwanakampwe said Mrs Hichilema will have a series of engagements with various stakeholders during her visit to the province.

“I am happy to announce that our First Lady, Mrs Mutinta Hichilema, will be in the province tomorrow to interact with the critical mass during her one-day working visit. We are excited that the people of Kabwe will have an opportunity to interact with our First Lady,” he said.

According to Dr Mwanakampwe, the First Lady will, among other programmes, visit the Mutinta Hichilema Centre for Children Living with Autism in Kabwe’s Katondo Compound before interacting with public service workers.

The provincial permanent secretary said Mrs Hichilema’s visit to Central Province is a clear indication of the significance the first family attaches to the advancement of the developmental agenda of the region and the country at large.

Dr Mwanakampwe said Mrs Hichilema will return to Lusaka immediately after her scheduled engagements in Kabwe.
