Nalumango commends UPND members for embracing peace

Vice President Mutale Nalumango has commended the United Party for National Development (UPND) for embracing peace and enlightening the electorates on government policies.
‎
‎Mrs Nalumango notes that the situation has led to continued attraction of more people including those from the opposition Patriotic Front (PF) joining the ruling party and supporting the government.
‎
‎The media reports that speaking when she received three of the four PF councillors who defected to the ruling party with over 100 members, Mrs Nalumango urged UPND members to embrace the new members.
‎
‎The Vice President  cited the Free Education Policy, Cash for Work and School Feeding Programme as some of the notable policies that are transforming the lives of the ordinary citizen.
‎
‎The PF councillors that have defected to UPND are Justine Lukonde of Katiti Ward, and Fred Mambwe of Kaombe Ward.
‎
‎Others are John Kasapo of Pebeka-besa and Mildred Kapapula of Kasengu Wards.

  1. Free sub standard education not improving feeding in a few selected schools
Please lets call it as it is and not want you want us to hear

  2. What peace when they stoned their own President in Chingola and chased him away. There is too much caderism currently and operating below radar and not being detected. So leaders think the ground is peaceful

  3. There are no defectors. It is just people looking for adoptions in UPND after PF was technically killed. And others just looking for jobs and money. What with this sick economy.
