Fashion confirms Al-Fayha deal extension

Chipolopolo forward Fashion Sakala has extended his contract with Saudi Pro League club Al-Fayha until 2029.

Al-Fayha confirmed the retention of one of their key players following Sakala’s strong performances since joining from Rangers in the summer of 2023.

The Zambian is Al-Fayha’s all-time top scorer with just over 41 goals in more than 100 appearances.

“I am delighted and grateful to announce that I have extended my contract with Al-Fayha until 2029. First and foremost, I thank God for His faithfulness, guidance, and countless blessings throughout my journey,” Sakala announced on Monday.

“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the club’s president, board, management and everyone at Al-Fayha for their trust and belief in me once again. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to continue this beautiful journey with a club that feels like home,” he said.

Sakala said he was proud to keep wearing the club’s colours.

“I am proud to continue wearing this shirt and representing this great club. I look forward to creating more special memories together and achieving even greater success in the years ahead,” he said.

“To Zambian fans, Al-Fayha fans and all my supporters around the world, thank you for your incredible support. Your love motivates me to give my best every time I step onto the pitch,” Sakala added.
