  1. Are these guys really an opposition or they are funs of the MMD party? Why not just join the MMD if they are supporters? How do they think they will campaign against the MMD when they are always bootlicking? Some parties are jokes!

  2. The beauty of democracy, is that each and every person is free to express their views, whether they are in line or contrary to yours. To begin to follow in one line of thought, is reducing this country to one party rule and killing the essence of democracy. As opposition, they should be crtical in their analysis, not opening their mouths for the sake of opposing! I for one find nothing wrong in him expressing his views, beuase he has a right to do so. Whether these views are correct is another thing. I have to agree with him on one thing, POLITICAL VIOLENCE, is getting out of hand, this EVIL better be contained very soon, and protect Zambians fo om a possible Mugabe style of leadership!

  3. Congratulations to President Rupiah Banda on your 1st Anniversary as Republican President of Zambia.

Even though you got the country at a time when we where faced with the effects of the global financial crisis, you steered the ship well and Zambia was not affected by the crisis as other countries in the region. You have done well in your 1 year as president and we the Zambian people are looking forward to working with you for another 2 years until we reach the 2011 Presidential General Elections where we will support you for another 5 years up until 2016.

We the Zambian people must embrace peace and work hand in hand with govt to ensure the prosperity of our nation.

  4. Yes congrats Mr RB for being the first president of Zambia without vision
congrats for being the first presidents to have a string of scadles in the first year of rule

    2. Dora siliya Saga – The lady was embroiled in a saga and was determined to be at fault by a qualified judges as being at fault… weeks later another (single) judge quashes judgment… 24 Hours later appointed as Minister of Education.

    3.Nevers Mumba appointed as diplomat

    4. Nurses Strike

    5. Press Conference – Major subject “Kanitundila” Second major Point “Porn”

    6. Presidents wife still on Payroll as teacher . “Ghost Worker”

    7. Lamya House Saga . Sons involved in deal.

    8. Chiluba acquitted “it would have been costly to imprison Chiluba”…

  6. These chaps from FPP are just poverty striken looking for a favour frm RB. Honestly rb has failed. Unless you live on Mars.

  7. Congratulations to President Rupiah Banda on your 1st Anniversary as Republican President of Zambia.

    1. You managed to forge the country ahead with the little resources that Zambia has had.
    2. You managed to bring us together 73 tribes in a shortest period of time
    3. You were so humble in resolving local and international issues
    4. What a wise president Zambia has ever had

We salute you His Excellency RB

  8. # 7 & 13 . How much are you paid to be so blind. Kwena insala ibi sana. These are the chaps who would accept money from their wives boyfriends. Even my 10 year old boy is able to see the way Zambia has go down. Dont confuse your living well today because of a.s.s licking and development. Shame on you!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. In addition, we congratulate you His Excellency for the manner in which you have been handling national issues.

We no longer have fuel crisis because of your good governance Mr. President. You are a good listener.

    We salute you once more!

  10. What’s depressing is that this Rupiah Banda is still clinging to office ignoring calls by concerned Zambians for him to step down and return to his farm as he has failed miserably. All he has done is to reintroduce UNIP dictatorial policies.

  11. #7 and # 13 you can not even mention any major concret developments that tok place during the reign of your almight rb Kanitundila, read the issues listed down by # 9 infact that list may go on and on. With all those issues you think we the real Zambians are happy?????????. infact wast of time talking to you. How I wish some people can burn here on earth and not wait for Hell!!!!!

  12. FPP President Mr. Charles Kafumbo is a former ZAF NCO, Electronics Engineering later workerd for PTC now Zamtel. He is one of the founding members of MMD for reasons known to himself he went his own way. I have know him very well, in short he is a BIG Brother. We came from together but has not been in touch with him for more than 10yrs. H e was a very briliant during his school days. Charles Kafumbo Sr. (Father) was one of the early pipo to spearheard UNIP in Mwinilunga during 1960’s. Then the place was an ANC stronghold. Br. Charlie is just in the political wilderness but if a stable political party enticed him, he is a very good organiser by nature. Currently the man earns his living doing some electronics/ telecoms contracts here and there. So dont write him off he just needs…

  13. Certainly there is a lot to congratulate the president for.But to sum it all is that RB has won and defeated a group of western private sector boot clicker companies who have ganged up with the opposition parties and civil society to remove the ever strong MMD government from power at all cost.

  14. Peaceful Zambians, Let us give this man another Term of Office. He is a very hard working man. I am sure those of you who like traveling must have seen whet kind of development is going on in the rural areas:

    1. Roads are being renewed – Livingstone
    2. Roads in Western Province
    3. Copper-belt
    4. Mines which were once a white horse are now open
    Etc.

What more if we give him 10 years?

  15. # 7 – Why do you think like me. Why can’t we give this man another 10 years! He is a Great man Zambia has ever had.

  16. #7 I just hope he will live that long to see 2016 :-). Hypoxia and old age don’t mix, sometimes it even leads to a Stroke…… he flys way to much.

  17. I bet RB will be the first Zed Prez to become a pilot, at the rate he is going with these trips he will be flying the challenger by the end of the year, Aba leya, aba leya Lol.

  18. True he has not lost his direction but bad sadly he has taken a very wrong one (direction). A year on and he is the worst presindent in the history of Zambia. I never thought we will have a president worse than Chiluba.

  19. the president has done a lot you *****s, he deserves great respect. he did a lot under the global economic clunch down under which most of your parents crushed by failing to provide simple things like bread at home
