Chiyangi happy with Nkana’s finish

Coach Aggrey Chiyangi is cheered to see Nkana finish the 2015 FAZ Super Division campaign on a high note.

Nkana finished eighth on the table with 41 points from 30 matches after beating Nchanga Rangers 2-0 in Wusakile on Wednesday.

Nkana struggled throughout the season and posted 11 losses, 8 draws and 11 wins.

“We are happy that we have won the last match and I think we have ended on a good note. We are happy where the team is,” Chiyangi said.

He, however, said a good ending is not guarantee that Nkana will make a bright start to the 2016 season.

“Now we have a job to maintain the players and to come and start on a good note next season,” he told reporters at Nkana Stadium.

Chiyangi added:”When you look at Nkana, it is not the name Nkana that makes the team tick but the quality of players that makes the team.”
