Government motor cycle stolen at gun point

Suspected armed robbers have stolen a Suzuki Motor Cycle TF 125 valued at K 19.5 million belonging to the department of Agriculture in Chongwe district.

District Agriculture Coordinator (DACO) Charles Simulunda disclosed the theft of the motor cycle to ZANIS yesterday.

Mr. Simulunda said the motor cycle was snatched at gun point last Thursday from one of his officers in Kanakantapa area. He said the matter has been reported to police in the district to hunt for the suspected robbers.

The motor cycle was bought for the department by Japan International Agency (JICA) for use under the Food Crop Diversification Support Project (FoDiS) and is the third motor cycle the department has lost in similar circumstances.

  1. Hey South Africa based bloggers, what is that local SA number that one can dial 1st when calling landlines in Zambia and be charged a local instead of international rate?

  2. What time was the bike snatched? These Extension officers behave like cops in Mazabuka. They like drinking illicit brew while on duty.

  3. Its about time that civilians started stealing from the Government!! We are used to seeing politicians steal from the government legally and not at gun point LOL

All the people want is a piece of the Cake, whether at gun point or not is not the question.

May I request that for each of the critical Subject analysed and critisysed, may we try to propose realistic and implementale solution to line Ministries or RBB Govt Officials as it were. Coming to Gun – point thefts, concoct this with Teta’s dead line for jobless yet earger -to-work youths to vacate the streets they are vending (surviving) from, without any alternative for the poor youth whatsoever. The leadership may have no vision for our children’s children, but they must at least serve those that living now – all those Kaponyas on the street are TAX _Payers who deserve respect from all Parisites (Or is Politicians) living on this countrys’ Tax payers money. May God Bless…
