Mayuka scores goal number 5

Emmanuel Mayuka on Saturday scored his fifth goal of the season in the Egyptian league.

The Zambia striker scored Zamalek’s opening goal in the 9th minute of their 2-0 away win over Ghazl El-Mahalla.

Mayuka was later substituted in the 71st minute for the defending champions for whom he has now made ten appearances since joining them in January from French Ligue 2 club Metz.

Zamalek stay second on 51 points, eight behind their arch-rivals Al Ahly with five games left to play.

  1. Only the soccer gods know what would have happened with his career had he stayed at Young Boys a few a more years playing champions league footy year in year out.
