Mayuka’s Zamalek future uncertain

It looks like Emmanuel Mayuka may be moving to a third club in twelve months during this Summer transfer window.

Reports from Egypt suggest the Zambia striker is likely to be released by Zamalek just seven months after moving from France to the Cairo giants.

According to Kingfut, Zamalek are are tracking Nigerian striker Stanley Ohawuchi who plays for Ronald Kampamba’s Egyptain club Wadi Degla.

“Mayuka has not impressed Zamalek SC’s board and fans since his arrival last January, and the club hope to sell the Zambian striker before completing any deal for Stanley in order to free a foreign spot in the squad list,” Kingfut stated.

Mayuka joined Zamalek in January on a permanent deal from French Ligue 2 club Metz barely half a year after leaving Southampton.

He has scored five goals since moving to the Cairo giants.

  1. Very tough to see Mayukas career get watered down to this much. can’t you get yourself back to the swiss league mwaiche wandi.? even pa Grasshoppers..take Fwayo with you..always enjoyed watching you guys in Europe

    • What’s even more depressing is that both Mayuka and Zamalek are FINISHED – I watched their dismal performance against Sundowns in Egypt over the weekend – a match they lost 3-1, and can guarantee them of another loss in Pretoria!!! Mayuka has continued to gain weight, lose both speed and ideas…… maybe his libido is on the up swing!!!!

  2. Mayuka failures quit and you are not a failure. Mayuka must go and get Mayuka who won the golden boots at 2012 African Cup of Nations.
Do not get up Football is your life !!!!

  3. Just come back to Kabwe Warriors and start afresh like Mbesuma did. You are still young

  4. Mayuka sorry about that, but just come down and start afresh. Baice mulepepa nokupepa mwalekako nobwalwa. God will see you through. If only you stop akabwalwa.
