Busy Thursday for Zesco in Pretoria

Zesco United shifted into gear two of training in Pretoria ahead of Saturdays 2106 CAF Champions League semifinal showdown against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Zesco, who flew into South Africa on Wednesday afternoon, held a full day of training without incident on Thursday in Pretoria.

The team held a Thursday morning session for over an hour starting at 10h00 at the Tswane University of Technology.

Zesco then switched to the crucial evening training at 19h30 at the same venue in tune with Saturday’s semifinal kickoff time at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

George Lwandamina’s side will have a feel of the Lucas Moripe turf on Friday night.

Zesco lead Sundowns 2-1 from the first leg played in Ndola on September 17.

A draw is all Zesco need this weekend to advance to next month’s two legged final.

Zamalek lead Wydad Casablanca 4-0 heading into the final leg in Rabat on Saturday evening at 22h00.
