Zanaco assistant coach Dabid Chilufya says the club does not fear their rivals in the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
Zanaco have been drawn in Group D of the CAF Champions League together with Egyptian side Al Ahly, Cameroun giants Coton Sport and Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca.
Chilufya said Zanaco’s Group D opponents are beatable.
“The draw is very fine and this time around the Arabs are beatable. So we have no pressure, we saw them when they came to play Zesco United last year,” he said.
“We have experienced players in the team who play for the national team and those who have played outside,” Chilufya said
Zanaco begins the group phase campaign with an away match against Al Ahly on May 13 in Cairo.
“We have two league matches to play before we go to Egypt so we will try and prepare well,” he said.
