Chiluba’s acquittal of six counts of theft by public servant after a length 8-year judicial trial can’t pass without comment. If it were a fiction story I would call the author naive, stupid and unrealistic for writing such nonsense. Now that this is not a fairy tale, I am inclined to think the same way about the judge who passed the verdict which read in part. “I have found that the prosecution has failed to prove the cases against the accused beyond any reasonable doubt and I acquit him on all the counts,
Chiluba has since praised and thanked his gods for finally answering his prayer- a long walk to freedom. He has even retaliated that the trial period, was actually the work of the devil, persecuting him for religiously declaring Zambia as a ‘Christian Nation’. Well, after this landmark legal and ‘spiritual’ battle the devil has to finally accept that Zambia is truly a ‘Christian Nation’. This also goes to all peace loving Zambians that they should not be any doubting Thomas about the verdict. It is really amasing to see how miracles can happen in our modern society, Chilubas prayers and faith has shown us how some gods can really shame the devil.
On the contrary, I think the devil was right, if at all it did try to persecute him, because this so called ´Christian Nation’ is just full of pornography, greed, hate, corruption, bootlickers , stripers and blood thirty ruthless political cadres.
I would have actually preferred the devil himself to pass the verdict, I am sure it would have been more realistic and reasonable than that god fearing judge who is only quick to send petty thieves to jail.
It is clear to see how the judiciary is compromised in this ‘holy land’; where the law only seem to exist for the poor. Peasants are quickly condemned to jail for stealing peanuts and cigarettes. Fugitives return home and get suspended sentences; real criminals simply buy their freedom with stolen money.
Have you ever thought of how much time and money has been wasted on the Task Force on Corruption? Now we are learning that Maxwell Nkole the Task Force chairperson who cowardly praised Chilubas verdict and later hopelessly tried to hold on to his executive suites and designer shoes has finally been fired. The question we should ask ourselves, is why has he been fired now, has Mr Nkole suddenly turned into a devil’s agent that was haunting Chiluba for his spiritual endeavours?
One thing that is we know for sure is that, Zambia should not continue with the proclamation as a ‘Christian Nation’, The claim will only continue to bring ridicule to the Christian principles and above all to the Holy name of The Almighty God. We don’t want empty ‘holy’ tags for baseless and selfish motives. What we need is selfless leadership that will provide us with a meaningful and respectable livelihood.
I concur with Chanda Mwenya, especially with the closing paragraph.
Bauze……………..
One thing I know my friend Chanda Mwenya is that the whole thing was (and if it continues is) a fraud. All these people e.g Chiluba, Sata, RB, etc are thieves and when the meet for drinks when nobody is looking in the comforts of some exclusive launge they simply laugh it out with drinks and expensive cigars. Zambian people are nothing but a mare puppet joke to them.
Thou art spoken truthfully!!!!
The closing paragraph says it all
Bamvesese. Christian nation, Christian nation – mulebepa abantu when you are busy championing corruption and stealing from state coffers and donor funds.
Mr Mwenya I think you have very little knowledge of what Christianity is all about. This is the basic premise of Christianity: People are not sinners because they commit SIN, but rather they commit SIN because they are SINNERS. All have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. So in Christianity we say here is a standard you need to strive for and if you accept Jesus, through his grace you will attain this standard and this does not happen in a day, because the bible clearly says if we sin, he is faithful to and just to forgive us if we confess.
SO declaring Zambia as a Christian national does not mean you wont find sinners in Zambia. All the declaration says is this is the standard we have set for our selves. This is the goal we have set for ourselves and our nation.TBC …
I keep on saying that the problem we have as nation is lack of strong governance institutions. The Presidency in Zambia has too much power concentrated into its hands. It becomes very difficult to question one holding the position when one does wrong.Repeatedly politicians in Zambia boast that Zambians easily forget. For as long as we are not proactive on issues of good governance, this sort of things will continue happening. Yes Chiluba was a damn Gud President. He played “Father Xmas” wherever he went. He even gave out the Presidency at night and yet the MMD NEC was full of men and women of integrity but all that evaporated due to the fear of the unknown. Out of differences FTJ was put on trial by those he helped to annoit. Let us forgive each other and forge ahead as a nation for…
#7 CTD
You don’t scrap a goal if you fail to archieve, you try again and find out why you failed. Look at King David. Every Christian Creed and Dogma agree that he is in heaven and Jesus descended from a woman he dubiously married. David committed adultery with this woman and had her husband killed. It does not get any bad as this. Yet David knew what his goals were and he never scrapped that goal and outlawed holy living. Instead he repented and God forgave him.
So Declaring Zambia as a Christian nation does not mean all Zambians become saints. No. It simply means that is the standard we have set for our nation and it is a standard we shall use to measure our moral progress and I must confess we are still miles away and we should not give up but persist and one day we shall win.
#6, on top of that they ve got stolen wives and they busy proclaimng the name of the Lord.
Time will tell, the same Lord that Chiluba is exalting now is faithful enough to humble him and teach him that he can not with impunity use HIS Name in vain. If Chiluba is now a saint he should know that he is leaving in adultery and in any case open sin requires open confession for forgiveness to be granted. The Bible is clear that when you kneel to prayer and you remember that you have ought against you brother, rise up and make peace with you brother so that your prayers can be answered. Woe unto the men of God who are now going to bed with Chiluba annointing him as a saint when it is so clear that Chiluba has injured a lot of people. We must also not forget that Isaiah in the Bible tells of people in the last days calling good evil and evil good.
I dont concur with the article, declaring Zambia a christian nation is a very powerful stance. Despite all that may be going on, Gods favour is on us, we just need to recognise it and have the right people in the right positions. Even Jerusalem was corrupt and full of evil acts and unfair verdits but it was rebuilt, a nation under the lords hand, no matter how long it takes, will rise above the water some day. And i believe that for Zambia, it will be a great nation some day!!!
#8….. very well put. If only something could be done about that.
the truth shall not only set one free but it is a double edged sword that is also very painful. I also agree that xtianity is not about declarations but deed. I wish xtians would wake up and call for COMPLETE separation of church and (from) state. else we shall continue to suffer redicule and scorn and …. just how does one whose semen remnants found on a dress, albeit on top, be found innocent of commiting adultery? and the same rejoices that shame the devil i am a noble xtian being persecuted! let honourable xtians stop allowing non-practising clergy from using (nay make that abusing) the pulpit to settle scores… abomination oh! why use (sorry, screw) the church this way AGAIN? you called of the Lord, or did you call the Lord while He desparately tried to rest?
The Devil shamed? You must be joking. He is having a party.
Theconstitution in its current form is not fully in good taste. Looking at the works by NCC there stil alot that needs to be done. In less than 20years from now the constitution is going to be changed. There are always temptations for those in power to deviate from the constitution to do wrong things to further their stay in power. Those who have held the position before, now and in future there is always a high probability of temparing with the constitution. This is is even worse at Party level. The PF has never held any convention positions were just shared according toinfluence.MMD under Levy froze the position of VP. The same trend has continued even ender RB. if we are not democratic at Party level what do u expect at National Level. Its like ruling by criss. Lets take public interest
Fukk That Jacka!ss. That’s FTJ for you
Sosa Mwenya, the entire nation is listening. At least there are some Zambians like you with a semblence of brains in their skull. The bulk of the rest here are a waste of valuable space, they have nothing but “ubwali” matter inside their heads busy “ukulimonesha ta” with the devil’s phylosophies and copied terminologies pretending to be intellectuals at law when their floating positions are clearly synonymous to those of intellectual snobs of the worst order. To try to seek for any legal justification for Chinyama and Mchenga’s vexacious legal hullucinations is a legal mission in futility. To applaud them is like listening to “galu ya chiwewe”, very injurious to the fabric of hearing and mental stability.
#7… thank you (*_~)……Kadoyo mwana…ati how?….Damn , am in a Digital Marketing Class and I was dozing so i thought of coming to hola at my boo then get my head back into class
# 12, The insance of the article is about the morality of the people who declared zambia as a christian nation.
Bwino Boyi Daisy. At how with you? Is Ba Moze alive? I hope he hasnt succumb to those hearses

HE IS OUR NEXT VICE PRESIDENT!
Adulterous comforting themselves, they can f.o.o.l zambians but not GOD!!!!
Decalaring Zambia a “Christain Nation” was of Gud intention but those who declared took us into long period of praying with our eyes closed but by the time they said “AMEN”. They had robbed us of our pride as a nation and did all sorts of wrongs. Yes Born AGain Churches have sprung up and the word of the “Almighty God”is now more proclaimed than before. Some church leaders have taken advantage of the poor, the sick, unemployed and promised miracles but little or nothing is being achieved coz dip down our hearts we are not clean as we are preoccupied with acquiring earthly things at any cost. Now alot of unheard before things are happening right down our noses. FTJ’s arrest was politicaly motivated to stop his dribbling. He sined against MMD and has paid a heavy price 8yrs…
Mr Mwenya Chanda, you would do well to keep away from discussing Christianity. The article clearly locates you, that you are not a Christian. If God is your Father, you would know very well what being a child of God is. Jesus told Pharisees that god was not there Father even though they claimed to be. He said if God was there Father, why didnt they welcome Jesus, the Son of God. Christianity is not a religion, but it is a relationship, a relationship between God and any person who has accepted Jesus as their saviour and Lord. To such a person, God gives the right to be called a child of God. You dont just work up and call yourself a child of somebody. You must be born of them or at least be legally adopted. God is real and being a born of God is just as real. Read the Bible for yourself.
The declaration is B.U.L.L….@#% so is the zambian judicially let alone the peolple that made the declaration. What value is it adding apart from dogmatism

#21. my dear they will create a post of acting president, they still need GK as vice.
#24 Contd.
As for FTJ’s claims to be a Christian, that’s good for him, if he trully is. It’s not for us to judge. God knows his children. Jesus said I know my sheep and they know me. No one comes to teh father except thru Christ. Further Ephesians 1 say God has given his children the Holy Spirit for assurance or gurantee that such a person is trully a child of God. romans 8 says whoever does not ahve the Holy Spirit does not belong to God is is not a child of God. These things are plain. Your good works or money cannot bring them to you. They come by faith, ie you humble yourself, turn away from your living a life without God, and turn to God for the forgiveness of sin and salvation unto eternal life. Unless you do this Mr Mwenya Chanda you will forever be separated from God.
FTJ should thankhis stars. The man has bin aquiated on earth by fellow human beings but there is great “Judge” up there who is going to Judge all judges. I have no problem in accepting the “JUDGEMENT” passed by Judge Jones Chinyama. What FTJ as proclaims to be Hollier is ” SURE DEEP DOWN HIS HEART THAT HIS AQUITAL IS REAL” or just survived on technicalities. Those in leadership already others aspiring for such should have self evaluation of themselves whether they are there to serve the nation to the best their ability and expectations of them by those they serve. God has his own way of dealing with those who sin. FTJ manipulated the MMD, NEC & entire nation and thought he wud get away with it. The Almighty God’ punished for his wrong act. 8yrs he was in wilderness going to courts…
Am christian myself but i dont support the silly declaration which is hoodwinking a lot of our pentecostal friends. What purpose is it serving anyway? Sometimes i wonder if we read the same bible with some of these self proclaimed designer addicted characters masquerading as pastors
By Tuesday November 29, 2005 [09:18] The late Dictator Mwanawasa Cabbage and his selected trolls of lawyers had entered an expenditure of MORE THAN USD 7.000.000,00 made on THE TASK FORCE all to fix one person’s presidency. The Dictator internationally dressed as a “crusader of the fight against corruption” was blind to his own plunders. We are stunned to know the following:
The amount of moneys he paid in the period between June 2003 to June 2005.“PARLIAMENT heard that US$ 5,512,190.29 had already been paid to Ovag, Class Law, Denton Wide, Sapre and Honrey Simon Arnold all foreign companies, since the inception of the Task Force on Corruption

Regarding Zambia being a Christian nation. Mr Mwenya Chanda, if you knew God and his ways, you would look at the example of Israel. This is a nation that God himself made. He called Abram and set him apart unto himself. Abram had no child. But God told him he will MAKE him a father of many nations and changed his name to Abraham and his wife from sarai to Sarah. They had a child Isaac when Abraham was abot 100 yrs old. Isaac gave birth to Jacob. God changed the name Jacob to Israel. God had a COVENANT with these people, for God to be there God and for them to be his people. Why through them God has revealed himself to mankind and also brought the Christ for the salvation of all men. Now all who believe are God’s children. There’s no Jew or Gentile. Same access to God.
The most shallow article ever written on this site. The chap needs to get a life really.
Bwino Boyi Daisy. At how with you? Is Ba Moze alive? I hope he hasnt succumb to those h.e.a.r.s.e.s.
LT I dont understand how can you moderate the word h.e.a.r.s.e.s
Zambia is a cursed nation with wrong people in wrong positions. So FTJ has become a man of God in these pentecostal churches that he corrupted at the time he was president by corruptly giving them millions from his slush fund.
Nice article.Live the rest to the real GOD to pass judgement.
Ladies and gentlemen,
Law does not feel sympathy for our emotions and feelings.
I fell the same as the marjority of Zambians, that Chiluba plundered the nation because of the many questions we can raise about many transactions that took place during his rule.
But law does not look at how many tangible and valuable question we can raise, but how many answers (with proof) we have to such questions. After our feelings and emotions are fully charged, the QUESTION still stands out; did the plaintiff provide evidence beyond reasonable doubt before the court, or simply logical questions resulting in logical conclusions?
I must say that even when I witness a thief stealing, if I can not carry evidence to court I must forget about conviction, coz merely saying “imwe ninamuwona” won’t…
#34 contd
God is not a man. We must not forget that. When you make a covenat with him, even if you yourself or Zambia turns out unfaithful to that Covenant, God will always keep the covenant. So if trully Zambia as a Christian nation is covenanted with God, that God will be our God and we shall be his people, then know for sure that whether FTJ has fallen from grace or not, Zambia still remains favoured in the eyes of God on account of that covenant. God does not change his mind or fail to honour or keep covenant.
Look at Israel. As explained above, this is God’s people based on cevenant God made with Abraham. have they been ever faithful to God, NO. A big NO! There were many times God sent them into exile because of that. But he has always loved them. God still loves Zambia.
Anyways, This is a Zambia we have managed to build in over 40 years of independence. But I wished for a much better homeland where freedom of speech, reasonable power vested in the President, a judiciary free of political inteference, a much more proactive parliament and all those good tenants of democracy were the order of the day.
I can’t help thinking that sooner or later Zambia will need a NEW START. There countries out there which have made a difference despite being dragged in mud and misfortunes like Zambia has been since her birth day.
We need a zambia were news will be about serious development and not blind political support and biasness, news of no substance and hero worshipping.
We need a role model Zambia. How do we get it?
#40 cont
But as I said, unless you Mr Mwenya Chanda were a Christian, you cannot understand these things. I advise you to stay away from things of God if you are not a child of God. Your wisdom may not be that wise. Stick to things you know. Or humble yourself and let Children of God explain godly things to you. Dont claim to know things you have no clue about. I say this with all the love I can give you. And I mean well. I hope you have heard me.
In any case, thank God that Zambia does have true children of God. They are the salt of the earth. they pray for Zambia’s well being. Any answered prayed from God has made Zambia a better place than it would have been if the ungodly were not restrained in some way by the mighty hand of God.
Zambia belongs to God. He is our God.

FOR THE FIRST TIME I AGREE WITH THE MMD BOOTLICKER
THAT’S A WAY OF GOING ABOUT IT, WELL COMMENTED
The writter of the article has very little knowledge concerning Christianity
Wow! Had it not been to rigging in 2006, you would have been in jail you numskull. You are lack RB wants to win the favours in Luapula Province. RB will not be there in 2011 and we shall be reviewing the cases here
Zambia can remain a christian nation thats ok. However we expect the leaders to have a heart for the poor Zambians and not the way chiluba bahaved himself. If God is hearing, my prayer is that he takes away these MMD-thieves from Zambia for we dont need them.
how can the little devil shame the big devil???? shame on you FTJ.
Hahahaha.. Kadoyo.. osani sekesa…. ati hope is hasnt saccumb to the HeArEsEs… hope not neh?…… Havent been on here for a while balishani ba Maestro.. i now like him, i think he speaks sense, what you recogn?
UK Observer….thanks for breaking it down brother…hmmm or Sis?, some people just dont understand and talking about God to people like ka Chanda Mwenya is dangourous, they might insult our KING Jesus!
We will see come 2011. I pray to the almighty that he will make meaningful changes in our beloved Zed…. Plunderers..
#7 and #9 MMD Chief Boot something, You have articulated so well about the declaration. Kindly also tell us when Teta is dying so that we prepare ourselves as a party for bye elections in Solwezi. Remember when Levy was sick, it was him who brought the issues of succession of the late LPM(mhsrip). So what stops us from by his guidance? Please advise us
#39 Fine……… It is true law is law and beyond doubt evidence should be given in order for it to apply. But dear there is an apeal which these MMD-thieves have withdrawn…..what are your views on this considering that this case is not the MMD-thieves’ but the Zambians’. Can you give your exposition my learned Fine???
Since acquittal kamudala nakapola!!!!!!
Well said, Chanda Mwenya!!
#7, MMD Chief Bootlicker: While I agree with your point, God also hates HYPOCRITES.
Rev 3:15 – “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.” Also, Job 20:5 – “That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?”
In short, God prefers you to pick a side!!
A
Zambia that enable wrongdoers properly investigated and make them kiss jail there by setting a good precendence. Not one in which the clean, straight, observers of the rule of law and upright will be mingling with convicts and a resultant society be dimmed as normal.
We need a Zambia that will deter bad elements from yelling on top of their Voices even in the Name of God.
Wolves should be going down. Penitentiaries around the country awaits such heartless lawbreakers.
We need a Zambia that will deliver good tidings from its fruiteous soil and God given natural resources.
Zambia is rich. Rich?
Prove it.
May God deliver this mothereland. May he make us realise and learn from our pasts. May HE teach us to be truthful and have mercy on us including RB.
God Bless Zambia.

That’s how dictators emerge! We are watching a dictator in the making and watching passively like this. First they compromise the judiciary and the police which he (RB) has successfully done so what remains is compromising the army and then no one will ever say anything in this country.
Even in the times of the early churches recorded in the bible, were SINS and ACTS too abominable to be mentioned and yet they did not stop meeting. They simply corrected the erring. You will never find any place in this world were SIN is not rampant, however, Blessed is the nation whose God is JehovaH

mmd bootlicker(7) i really agree with you,i know there are some pipo who were not happy with the aquital but lets not condemn the courts.the problem is chiluba was found guilty by many zambians before the courts declared him so,some news papers called him a thief.zambia is still a christian nation and it’ll continue to do so,we thank God for F.J.T for doing declaring it
@ # 59
We all understand that a person is innocent until proven guilty and we all respect the ruling of the courts. What I’m personally pissed off at is the involvement of people like RB who will go to the extent of firing Mr. Nkole because he was hell-bent on appealing this judgement. If indeed FTJ is innocent and has nothing to hide; (1) why the rush to have his immunit restored (I believe there are many other cases pending and (2) why all this meddling by RB and company. Let the appeal go thru and only when FTJ is acquitted in the Supreme Court will I say that Justice has been Served. FTJ Acquittal = C I R C U S
#57. MULAMU. Naka pola. Akalepinda ne nsapato nama suti.
Chanda Mwenya you need some Sunday School lessons which I believe you missed during your childhood. You should also understand the simple law that applies in Zambia ” You are innocent untill proved guilt”. This is what the people Levy selected to prosecute FTJ failed to do. You have to prove beyond reasonable doubt and these guys failed. And why keep someone who has failed to prove a case on FTJ when everyone is saying evidence is there? Go Maxwell Nkole dont waste our money. A person is tried in court and not in the media or by a group of thieves. Just on the appeal before he even discusses it with the DPP and before he submits it to the courts, his friends MNB lawyers take it to the Post and the it is published before it is even registered! What do you expect? It is another acquital…
Zambians its time to act the Madagascar sitting idle and watch RB destroying our country in the name of peace will not help us in any way.
# 60, HOODWATCHA
Mr Nkole errored in his duty. Whether RB was involved or not is not an issue. Nkole was not the Plaintiff in these cases; it is the state on behalf of the Zambian people. Nkole was simply an agent for the state, and not the plentiff. How does he initiate an appeal when the plaintiff tells him to hold on?
Is it not the same Nkole, who failed to provide evidence that would convince beyond doubt? Why was he rushing, when people want to be more careful on the matter by studying it?
The DDP resprents the plaintiff (state) who are the complainant on the matter, now him instead of being the agent that he is, he decides to be the complainant, where on earth do you behave like that? He pursued a tangent, out of the circle.
I am not coming back to Zambia, I love my country but there is no hope. I don’t know where a Mwanawasa like president will come from.
Its amazing how good Zambians are at writting and talking, but action still remains ellusive. We don’t need anymore opinions on this kafupi saga…all we need is a collection of brave Zambians who will push for Rupiah Banda and his minions to leave office. They have surpassed failure such that if we allow them a few more months in office, it will be impossible to recover from the institutional collapse that Zambia will suffer. Can you imagine, Lawyers such as the DPP’s chambers being as compromised as they have shown on this saga, the Chansa kabwela saga, the Bulaya saga etc…Here’s the thing… God forbid, I hate military coups, but in Zambia its what we need…some sort of a civil war, maybe then, we will learn how not to take peace for granted…
@60 chiluba is intitled to his immunity, and remember that the task force on coruption has no right to handle govt related cases like the carlington maize saga,i strongly believe the ACC is sufficient enough and is well able, the problem with the task force on corruption is that it was formed for a one man chase, and indeed it was,how much money was wasted on this very task force, this appeal thing will just waste enough time let govt concentrate on developing this nation, lets have faith in our courts of law.
My self, go to hell with your crazy ideas, I have family in Zambia, do you know what war is? Go to Liberia and Siera Leone. What do soldiers know? Just vote MMD out in 2011, that all.
#64 Fine: Shut up if you have no capacity to understand simple legal proceedings as this one. Rupiah Banda has shreded the constitution in your face and you are busy talking about what you don’t understand. You are talking about the state telling him to hold on…who is the state? FYI, Rupiah Banda is not the state, the state is you and me…the people Nkole was appointed to represent, and thats what he was doing. RB is just another agent employed by you and me as principals (shareholders is the resources kafupi store).
Leader is Zambia lack leadership traits. The situation is that most of them are immersed in satisifying theirsocial whimsto the superlative degreesat the expense of the people they claim to look after. Shame may be nikupeto. But it take not less than 10 years to correct the damagethat has been done.
Iwe shidada, how many times have you failed to vote MMD out of office? Do you have any historical perspective on why Ghana has become the model of good governance in Africa? do you know how far they have come? It was Gerry Rawllings who came to power through a military coup who put in place institutional frameworks that are now bairing fruits of good governance and respect for the law… Mu Zambia you are cowards… and docile, no wonder you allow people to take advantage of you while you sit on this blog wasting time….shame!
As a Christian i definitely would not be against it, but what we are against is what is happening in this very christian nation. Others have claimed that FTJ was judged in the press, but, the question is have you read the judgment to see if the reasoning is correct. A perusal of the same will show you that the conclusion was not befitting the analysis of the very magistrate. it’s a shame that the very institutions we created to ensure that the principles of democracy are upheld is disappointing us. You don’t need spectacles to see that their is something very wrong in the way of society is being run and the uncontrollable powers our executive has over all branches of government i.e. legislature, judiciary etc.
Its sad that 45 years down the line we are not heading anywhere positive.
# 69, Myself
The problem you have is the same that takes this country down to where it is. Your failure to agree with me does not give you right to shut me up.
The best you can do is bring up your side of the argument, so that those you think dont know can learn from you. I thought that is the purpose of this site; to share ideas and learn from one another.
What I can learn from your sentiments is that you have little to offer thereby allowing emotions to rule over you. Anyone with substance is always above emotions. I can imagine if that is how Nkole was behaving when handling the cases – honestly can he win a single case???
Chanda Mwenya you are right. We do not deserve to be called children of God as a nation when we have Titus Mpundu ‘Chiluba’ amidst us.
Oh Zyambo # 67, just for your information once you are granted permission (fiat) to prosecute a matter by the DPP, this authority lasts until you reach a conclusion of the matter… And as you might be aware the Court of final jurisdiction in Zambia is the Supreme Court, so therefore Max Nkole or MNB never did anything wrong by appealing as they already had the FIAT from the DPP who unfortunately has also joined the band wagon of GK, Tenta, Mulongoti and the likes in the bootlickers club.
I’ll not be surprised if vigilantes start appearing on our streets again as now the cadres are in charge of the destiny of this nation.
You people going off on the author of this story seems to have missed the point. I don’t think the author is condemning the notion of Zambia being a “Christian Nation”, but people like FTJ who use Christianity/God as a cover for their evil/shady deeds—-people, whose lives and actions do not reflect what they preach. I think that’s what this article is about!!!
No matter how much people like the author of this p.iss (is it piece) want to launder Chiluba, the man st.ole. He must really be ashamed instead of telling the nation that some of the people who gave him money were drug traffickers. I hope that the US DEA take up the matter because the Americans can just come and spirit him away.
What has King Cobra to say now coz the other day the man was saying that RB had provided FTJ with temporal happiness? FTJ is former head of state who did this country good and wrong and must appreciated. The immunity is given to Head of State toavoud being sued after leaving office in case he did extreme things whilst in Office. Give him back his money so that he can donate to Churches. For FTJ to really rejoice his aquital, Regina needs to be cleared of her cases otherwise it will be FTJ going to see wife at Chimbokaila Prison. These politicts of vengence will just kill the lito we have achieved. Let us not create a fertile ground for political instability. What has happened to those who helped and advised Max to file in an apeeal against FTJ’s aquital. Are their hands clean or stained…
continue from #76:
I also don’t understand it, why do some of you find it okay to say FTJ’s personal relationship with God is his business, and yet, you turn around and put the author of this article down and accuse him of being ungodly?! Do you know him or his stand with his God!?! If you disagree with what the author has written, that’s fine!! But to start attacking him personally, wow!! PLEASE, ENOUGH WITH THIS HOLLIER THAN THOU ATTITUDES!!
Titus Mpundu ‘Chiluba’ has cheated from birth. His mother Diana Kaimba cheated on Zarare Nkonde by sleeping with Chabala Kafupi, Titus’ father, to deliver Titus as Zambia’s misfortune.
Titus went on to cheat on his education, name and status to the Zambian people. What a bustard he is!!!!
Beloved saints, the Church of Christ is in a Spiritual Warfare. The devil has now ushered his envoys everywhere in full throttle to wreck our national covenant with God but in vain. To all sanctified by his blood keep praying without seizing these evil ones shall not prevail over good. The just shall live by faith. Continue walking steadfastly in faith. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devils schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood. We have seen the devil incarnates in blogs and robes dispensing decrees on who would enter heaven according to their rituals and recitations they make to idols and sculptures around their necks.
Following “Well, after this landmark legal and ‘spiritual’ battle the devil has to finally accept that Zambia is truly a ‘Christian Nation’” I am not should about this. In looking at the way things have be done after Mr Chiluba’s acquittal, I have a lot of doubt that God, my Creator, has helped Mr Chiluba in this way.
Have a blessed day all.

Matthew 6:33 + KJV Bible
But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you.
Nkole was too excited and forgot that in third world you need to be on the side of the appointing authority. MNB and Nkole wanted to continue earning good money at the expense of ordinary Zambians. MNB get US$20,000 per month from 2002. what other cases are there that have not been investigated in eight years? Close the task force please.
@80 mbo if you are a zambia you will show some respect to an elderly man i dont care whether what u saying is true or not but its like uncovering your own father’s nakedeness your sentiments are so immature and not feet for a forum as this, try soweto market maybe, but you do lack respect
Titus Mpundu prides himself of delivering Zambia to God as a Christian nation. How possible could a man with such dirty hands deliver a Christian nation to God?
I am afraid we are in trouble with God as Zambians. We must put things right before we can be accepted. Poverty will never leave our land and our people with the likes of Titus Mpundu around us. Bootlicking, greed, hate and corruption cannot help us. Each one of us should honestly soul search and see what we can do for our motherland.
BA CHANDA, THAT IS YOUR OWN SUBJECTIVE THINKING. IF THE CASE GO TO COURTS, IN THE END ITS EITHER CONVICTION OR ACQUITTAL. IT YOU DO NOT LIKE THE RESULT THEN TOUGH FOR YOU. YOU ARE FREE TO APPEAL. AND IF YOU HAVE EVIDENCE THAT KAFUPI STOLE THEN YOU MUST BE SILLY TO HAVE KEPT THAT EVIDENCE WHEN INFACT WE COULD HAVE NAILED FTJ USING IT. NOW THAT YOU KEPT IT TO YOURSELVE, DON’T BRING EMPTY WORDS ON THIS BLOG. LET FTJ CELEBRATE IN PEACE. AND PLEASE DO NOT INSULT THE JUDGE, HE SIMPLY ACTED BASED ON THE EVIDENCE ADDUCED. BABA IN A CRIMINAL CASE THERE HAS TO BE PROOF BEYOND DOUBT. WE CAN NOT CONTINUE SPENDING SO MUCH MONEY ON THAT TF. CONGRATS FTJ!
You can discuss from now until the return of Jesus, the fact still remains the same, Zambia will never ever change. Things will always be done the Zambian way. The solution is to leave things the way they are chapwa
The bible says it’s not everyone who says Lord, Lord who will enter the kingdom of God but only those who do the will of the father. We are told not to judge but we are guided that we will see them by their fruits – pharisees or christ followers(christians). Judge on your own if the declaration was done in good faith or for political mileage
It is quite unbelievable but cannot be denied that the Midget has taken control of Plot 1. The Puppet is now firmly under his control; the main desire being the return to residence in 2011.
The Puppet has dismissed those standing in the way of his plans and, in a move that has shocked most normal thinking Zambians, withdrawn the ‘notice of appeal’.
But perhaps Zambians should not have been shocked. The puppet had previously shown, in the matter of his Adorable one, that he does not care about public opinion and will do as he pleases when he pleases.
The next logical step for him now shall be to withdraw his registration of a famous London judgment and write of a cheque in favour of the midget of value US$8.5m.
Are his suits and shoes still in fashion after all these years
Chiluba’s so called declaration of Zambia a Chriastian nation was meant to conceal his mischief and plunder and to hoodwink the unsuspecting Zambians. A christian nation will be seen in leaders who are selfless and lead by example and also caring and listen to the cries of the people. Chiluba is a curse, plunderer, thief and full time adulterer. He is currently untouchable. The judiciary is finished and the lawmen lack principles and cannot stand their ground to challenge the president’s interference. The president is now the arresting officer, the prosecutor, the jury and judge. Zambia is finished.
Christians need to ask God for discernment and wisdom . In the bible it shows pharisees who misrepresented God’s word and Jesus always challenged their actions as he knew their intentions in their heart were not pure. Remember the Samaritan story… We are all sinners but when we accept Jesus we are forgiven and are supposed to act like him. you repent and change….A Christian can not serve 2 masters. As a Christian nation Z has to prove through it’s action towards it’s own people that it is truly a Christian nation. When you hear about corruption and people are starving. Policies like the windfall tax being removed which could help the country’s revenue one wonders is there any love left for the local Z needing help or is it about individuals like Chiluba gettin their $500 000 petty…
I agree with Yambayamba #80, 83. Please lets not miss the point and start attacking the author. God help us all!!!!
one interesting scenario: suppose chiluba ends up supporting sata (not RB) in 2011 in northern and luapula, after his immunity has been restored and he has nothing more to gain from RB? that could happen, 2 years is a long time politics.
Chanda you seem to be contradicting yourselve in this article. You somewhat exhalt the devil and his agents, who we all know by today figuratively. Instead, your conlusion makes better reading than all the previous paragraphs put together. Zambia needs a redeemer inrespective of what manner, form or way he comes in, exept the unthinkable. The devil himself is at work via plunderers, wife grabbers, parents disrespecters, justice manipulators, the list is endless…. Lesa akamikanda ba pompwe.
Lusaka rumour mill says civil society has changed tack. They now say if Chiluba really did have US$ 8-9 million in the ZAMTROP account can he:-
1. Declare all his income and assets and swear on oath of the veracity of this declaration.
2. Pay all the taxes on this same money as all income including gifts and contributions are considered taxable in Zambia.
3. Pay all fines and penalties on the same income if he did not pay the taxes on the same income.
4. Clearly identify and produce proof of the source of this money. They say if he is innocent and the income is genuine not stolen heshould do the right thing and pay hs taxes like all upstanding citizens. Reasonable request don’t you think ?
# 91 Ba Justice Kafusha (Mulamu) Mwalanda fye bwino things will never ever change in Zambia. And it is so annoying when you look back at the many mistakes that have taken place. Nice to see you here, I am still in the UK Mulamu.
The solution to Zambia:
2Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Hiding under the Chiristian name does not make you christian.
FTJ himself has a christian middle name, Titus. Has it made him christian? Having been called by his name, we need to humble, pray and seek his face. Stop stealing and all wickedness then God will hear. A name remains a name. Seek a better understanding about the context in which this scripture was written from those well informed.
So stop the all these bickering about Christian names in people and nations. There is much more that is needed to be done.
#102. Kellychinook. Amen.
Bible yena mulabelenga… but tamumfwa.
Now we have our time time to enjoy with FTJ. What should FTJ become?
Make Zambia Secular today, You won’nt hear or feel an change. Name it Christian tomorrow, no trumpet or sound will be heard. Make chiluba turn from sin either in jail or outside and if he surely repents, the Bible tell us there is rejoicing in Heaven. There is noise in Heaven.
See…….thats what would make Zambia changed and a Christian Nation. I don’t care what you call it Christian or Secular. What moves God is the heart of an individual and collectively hearts of people endovouring to love their God with all their hearts, loving their neigbours and so on.
Chiluba must not brag about making Zambia Christian. No no way. REPENT Ladies and Gentlen. Thats all there is to it.
This is a man who is so shamelessly declaring the name of God on his side with another man’s wife. What really does Chiluba take Zambians for? Does he think we will still sit and agree with him like in the early 90s when he made all sorts of nice speeches and people agreed? This is a man who thinks God has answeared his prayers. If really he is innocent as he claims, let him tell us who put the money in the Zamtrop account. Let him tell us where he found the money he spent for Levy’s election. Let him tell us what happened to the money for the arms, maize, oil. He was in charge. today he wants to come and claim the devil has been defeated. Sorry, maybe the God you believe in is RB cos his hands are all over the judgement
Big this is the way things are and should be. Carefull countrymen this Chap can become very power and Take our wives. Takanaka
Zambians We are fools. The Gay only spoke very Good English and everyone Convince that his the president
#106. Kellychinook. Amen gape(setswana for again).
Okey imwe bonse what is the way forward? Zambia being christian nation or not is not the issue because being a christian is not about being a saint because the Bible says ‘it is by grace that we have been saved not for good works lest we boast’ If FTJ is playing with God leave him alone he has his own fate. The qusetion is what do we do in 2011? In my view not any leader will be peferct but allowing one party to be in power for more than 20 years is a disservice to democracy. As for those in Mwanawasa camp this the right time for them to quit from MMD as there is nothing for them. Change is inevitable because it will advance our democracy and will send signals to would be fraudent president in future. MMD has outlived its usefulness that is why its cadres have taken over the country.
#109 Monalisasyndrome
To God be the glory. Amen
#108. LCK. lol….wansekesha ati takanaka. you are right men should safe guard their wives once mwapwalala kafupi alapitapo ask Mr. Mwanza…
If Zambia has to change for the better, we need new leaders with new idears. Going back before Chiluba’s aquital, RB clearly showed that he wanted his friend FTJ to have freedom. Every person who supported Him during elections is getting a reward now. Am not supprized.
Oh No! You guys, the concept of declaring a nation to be a Christaion nation is to say we give to and acknowledge God in our nation. It means you dedicate your nation to God.
The concept of dedicating your nation to God is not a way of showing off how righteous you are but it is a way of ackowledging that you are not righteous and you need God. Calling on God implies wating him to come to you. But God coming to you for what? Coming to you to help you. It means God has to be with you to give you help.
Now of course, we all know that if people on earth were righteous, Jesus would not have come; for he says,”I did not come for the righteous but for sinners”.
What does that mean? It means you do not need to dedicate yourself to God to show how righteous you are but to become…
the way forward is to try to build our nation to a more independent level!!!
What’s latest on Teta. Is he still breathing?
116. Teta is stable!!! Remember stable!!!
Teta is still sick
#71 List the achivements of the ACC. Which high profile cases has the ACC successfully prosecuted? I want you to know, as a grant aided institution since its inception, the ACC has taken much more money than the Task Force but with very little suscess. People at ACC just sit in their offices doing utterly nothing.
#95 good point. FTJ declared Zambia as a christian nation, some Zambia are true Christians but some like FTJ hide behind the bible while doing devilish things. But right now we need to focus on what to do next. We need action, RB is a dictator in the making. We need idea’s. IDEA’S MWE BANTU before its to late.

#112 olo kali sungapo ka….iye
I have just heard that RB stands for RUBBISH.. interesting thought.. Zambians, challenge yourselves sometimes… cut the talk and do something….complaining is like singing praise to f@@ls and in this case, our f@@ls and Miss T and her Mr RBBBBB.. Are there any solutions offered or only critisms, if only the later..then we no different from RBBBBB?
LOOK AT CHILUBA,SHE IS HAPPY AND REGINA HE HIS SMILING CHABE!!
Everyone seems to have an opinion on every issue.
God is mighty.the american have on there money -in God we trust -but the behaviour is different however the intention is good .our parents send us to school with the intention of us getting a better life even though some of them are languishing in poverty .do you judge them by their behaviour or there intention .the intention of declaring zed a christian nation is good .less crime ,less violence ,the list is endless.the point is forget chiluba ,as a person but listen to what has said about GOD.he speaks the word of GOD ,he might not practice what he says but that does not demean the words he says .see the difference .
Chiluba is a great guy,we used to take a week just to go pa Nakonde,Senanga,Mbala etc, abnornal queues just to buy mealie meal, saladi, sugar etc. just to have a TV set was a big issue.today u hav plasmaz, hummers, jaguarz X5 just to mention but a few……….YES, CHILUBA WAS A DAMN GOOD PRESIDENT.
Hey FTJ pay the taxes on the US$8-9 million. Pay the taxes. If clerks on 1.2 million pay taxes. INNOCENT, HONEST, MILLIONAIRES like yourself should pay their taxes. Once you have paid the taxes, and the penalties and fines, you can keep the change.
Hey Chanda nice article!!! never mind about these chaps who argue out of context… they can`t understand your line of argument.. from your article I an see that you gave it a Dialectical thinking…which means you give two opposing views( then address counterarguments) then combine the two to present your argument(opinion)…. synthesis… you the man.. let those critizing you present an article… and see how they are good, then calling you names!!! otherwise don`t waste your time on them and do what you do best…
This is what happens when people start behaving as if God is their cousin or doing “chimbuya” with God. Christianity is not shouting the loudest when it suits you and keep quiet when not – why didn’t chiluba praise God when Regina was convicted.
maybe zambia needs a guy like rb after all. to teach us a lesson about voting carelessly.
RB is grooming AMON JERE former Celtel Maketing fundi now at Vodacom Ghana formerly Ghana Telecom to head the preferred bidder for ZAMTEL. Jere a brilliant but arrogant marketing guru, will fornt the consortium to give a Zambian face. RB of course will get a sweetener.
All you Guys who are jubilating about the declaration of Zambia as a Christian Nation are Hypocrites and you are committing a sin of blasphemy.Read the Holy Book and Christianity; Christ..Like is what makes Christianity. Now,whether you crap hands and shout when praying or not,you are not a true christian if your works are evil,no matter how loud you should the name of Jesus. This is a true manifestation of scripture when it says that;’ Many will come in my Name and will decieve many’.Christ went on to say that , ‘ You shall know them by their fruits’.The book of James says it all’ ‘faith without deeds is dead’. Now,we have seen the works of Chiluba…,those of you who support that Zambia is aChristian Nation will have to think twice, because,Jesus is not happy with criminals.
Zambians were foolish enough to put their trust in the Nchoto brothers. U cannot have a high profile case with a low profile lawyers! Chiluba could have stolen but we lost because of poor representation. So why are we crying foul?
The author of this article has not done much reflection before writing that article.I do not see the christian declaration as a new thing in Zambia. The pre-existing condition in the country was always a great bias to christian. If you check day to day life of a vast majority of our people, they will be inclined to refer to biblical principles. By and large Zambia has always been a christian nation. I want to suggest that this is the connotation of christian nation. It does not mean Zambia becomes a holy land; it is impressive language but dangerously wrong.I want to say that I will therefore continue to encourage this great society to continue embracing biblical principals so that we stay focussed on every effort that could make Zambia a holy land indeed.
There are very few people that could comment competently on the Chiluba Vs Mwanawasa case. I will name a few; RB, Chiluba, Maureen, KK and very few individuals whom I don’t know. The rest including the out spoken Mmembe his friends the Nchitos do not know the genesis and why the fight. Most people that comment do not have the facts and because it has taken this long, with the help of Mmembe the whole think was made to appear in a particular way. I want to think RB whom most people have ridiculed todate is a very inteligent and wise man who is running the country with alot of maturity. I want to say that the man should be given room.Always be wary and analytical about public issues. I can even talk about corruption because it will cast the late SC and crue into bad light for an alert mind
MOST OF US ZAMBIANS ARE PLUNDERERS BY NATURE, THE DIFFERENCES JUST LIES IN THE AMOUNTS WE LOOT THIS POOR NATION.
Somebody help me out: What was Zambia before Chiluba declared it a Christian nation? Secondly, what has been the noticeable difference between the Zambia before it was declared a Christian nation and the Zambia after Mr. Chiluba declared it a Christian nation?
The author of the article lacks basic understanding of spiritual things unfortunately. He has allowed his hatred for Chiluba to give him impetus to trivialize the cosmics who are more powerful that the human race.Since the beginning of history the human race has been caught up in the cross fire of conflict between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. God almight loves all his children equally and in His biblical love the only one that he would cast away are people who refuse to repent of their sins and those who choose to glorify the devil and wish other people evil. Suck it up! Chiluba is free believe it or not His God has helped him!
Chenda Bwamba…spiritual benefits of ones faith in God demonstrated in a grateful response before God (Through confession, declarations, dedications ,devotions and commitments ) need not be tangible in a material or carnal sense. So whilst you are looking at the material world of Zambia’s spiritual landscape, you fail to see that not all blessings and benefits of spiritual devotion are visible to the eye or temporal in a material sense. Some benefits necessarily need not be immediately tangible because the consequences of such piety are altemately ertenal. so stop seeking carnal answers on spiritual matters!
Tusha…great comments on the article I agree with you entirely. In fact I think the autor of this article is also not well informed theologically. I dont know if he is just playing devil’s to justify his hatred for Chiluba Or he really believes the devil has a better agenda for humanity. His article is really childish and in bad test to say the least!
Violence is not the answer infact violence is a sign of cowardness and immaturity. This is not the type of legacy to leave or our children. Yes people have got a right to be upset and angry but there are better ways to resolve the broken systems in our country . Zambians need to wake up and realise that Zambia is not about the politicians but it’s about Zambians. The moment that Zambians realise that they are the ones to build the country, know their rights and build strong systems that will stand the test of time then the much anticipated development Zambians dream of will become a reality. Politicians come and go but strong systems still remain intact and citizens who are proactive are the stewards of the nation. For those that can pray please travail for Zambia. God bless Zambia.
The reality is that the majority of our people do not want to see FTJ go to jail. Yes, they want justice but they’d rather see Kapoko go to jail than FTJ. Also this judgement shows that the task force has been wasting our time and money. It appears Levy did not have the will power to fight corruption like they did in Chile where Pinochet was convicted and sentenced. In Zambia, our corruption fight was used to keep MMD big wigs who sidelined with FTJ, in check. Once they quit the party and joined PF, their cases were dropped. That is why almost all MP’s in PF chewed with FTJ yet they have never seen the inside of a court room. RB clearly sees no reason in continuing with this harrasment as it was not his to begin with.
#144, thats the truth and well put
Zambia is really a favored as a nation for being declared christain. Very soon Zambia will be miraculously turned into heaven on earth. Everyone will have the same amount of money as chiluba. Everyman will have a godly wife like Regina (always by her husbands side- FTJ or Mwanza?). Zambia will no longer cry for hand outs. All the money that will be plundered will be truly Zambian money. There wont be any interference from donors on how “donated” money should be spent. Zambians will be free to steal their own money and be forgiven cause Christianity encourages forgiveness. Actually kapoko should just be forgiven and so should all those people in prison. Zambia is a christian nation.
Zambians will not need to pay taxes as tithes will be enough to run education, health, police ..
Well many have been said about Chanda’s article. Anyway one thing you all have to is that Matt 7:21-23 says about those who will be calling the lord but he will not accept them the question is why? Well saving the Creator its a straight forward thing you have to be upright your fruits has to show that you are truelly the son of the God. I am not going to judge anyone but i will help to see right from wrong. We are need to respect the authority as they stand in place of God but at the sometime those in power have a duty to take care of the land they are appointed because God is the onwer of all the land so anyone misusing the purpose of God he will be answerable to him. that goes to all plundered the poeples money by developing they pocket and the so called churches they go to.
#69 Vote for KK
though we are called a developing country-there is no development.the opposite is the case.We are going reverse
