Zambia’s opponents Namibia summon 11 CHAN players for COSAFA Cup

Lusaka Dynamos midfielder Tiberius Lombard has been summoned by Namibia for their 2018 COSAFA Cup where they will face Zambia in the quarterfinals on June 2 in South Africa.

Lombard is one of eleven players in the team who also faced Zambia at the 2018 CHAN tournament in Morocco in a Group D match that finished 1-1 in Casablanca on January 21.

Namibia’s goal scorer in that match Absalom Iimbondi is also in the provisional 24-member team unveiled on Tuesday by coach Ricardo Mannetti.

However, midfielder Petrus Shitembi has been left out due to injury.
Namibia head into their June meeting against Zambia in Polokwane unbeaten in their last two meetings at the COSAFA Cup.
