George Mpombo

The Movement for Multi Party Democracy (MMD) has suspended embattled former defense Minister George Mpombo from the Party with immediate effect.
Copperbelt Provincial MMD Chairman Joseph Chilabwe confirmed the development in an Interview with ZANIS in Kitwe today.

Mr. Chilabwe said Mr. Mpombo who is also a former National Executive Committee member will receive his suspension letter soon.
He said the Party has decided to suspend Mr Mpombo because he had brought the name of the ruling party in disrepute and his actions and utterances on various national and party issues boarder on treason.

He said Mr. Mpombo has continued to defy his oath of allegiance to the President and nation at large and gone out of his way to destroy the Party.
He added that the MMD was aware that Mr Mpombo had joined the Patriotic Front and United Party for National Development Pact.
Mr. Chilabwe alleged that the MMD was aware that Mr. Mpombo was being used to destroy the Party and was only clinging to the ruling Party because of the gratuity.

He added that the former defense Minister was attacking President Banda viciously because he had failed to impress the President with his bootlicking character.

Mr. Chilabwe further said the Party will not allow him to insult the President and destroy the Party from inside.
He also said the Party will proceed to lay grounds for the expulsion and will not allow him to exculpate himself because his actions were clear.

  1. Cowards. Littlemen with their tails in between their legs. Any sign of opposition and you are quick to quash it. RB is not MMD president, he was never elected , and cannot be appointed.

  2. Long overdue! it is about time the MMD took action, even freedom of speech should not allow one to insult and condemn his superiors. A political party is like a club, if you dont like it, then leave. Not that i agree with RB but mr. Mpombo it is too much, come out in the open and make your intentions known. Dark corner meetings with Masebo, Magande, Maureen and Chipoya, we know what you are upto. Your time has passed, allow new blood and ideas to rule 2011. a wake up call.

  3. Why not go all the way and expel him so that by elections are held? Prepare for another bruising MMD. The lack of strategy by MMD is shocking!

  4. iwe ka Chilabwe what kind of treasonable offense has the gallant Mpombo done? You are the same chaps who are being used to issue wrong statements just like your friend ,the DPP Chalwe Muchenga at the expense of telling the truth.I wonder where MMD is going with such dictatorial tendencies.SHAME AND VIVA MPOMBO.MPOMBO ULICHAUME.YOU DONT FEAR ANYTHING

  5. This is Zed. One wonders who between the suspended and the suspenders is bringing the name of the party in disrepute.

  6. #4, when will you get it that there is enshrined in our constitution a freedom of speech and association? This is Grade 5 civics! You talk of new blood in the party and yet you are led by dinasours like RB (who i hasten to add was never MMD). RB is an acting President and Mpombo has a right to speak out without fear of being stifled or intimidated. Authority is not to be followed just for the sake of it. Superiority does not come into it, unless in the armed forces, one has to use their grey matter!

  7. I believe there will be a wake up call in the MMD soon and won’t involve Mulogoti, Namugala and the like. The true MMD is still just observing and that is strategy, elections are still too far to start yapping. Until a sensible opposition is born, a new and Vibrant MMD will win 2011. You think all those in MMD are fools and not seeing what is happening? The best strategy sometimes is to be on the team and keep quiet and rise when it is the right time.

  8. #4 which new blood are you talking about?is Mulongoti,RB,Mabenga,Katele and others new blood.I have to check on the definition of new blood.may be it has changed with MMD

  9. ahhhha this Movement of Mad Dogs (MMD) party is now slowly but surely going down. Am just loving it. Have had enough of them!

  10. @4 says RB is new blood???
eeehhh!!! a 70yrs old man is “new blood”?
May be life expectancy in Zed is 200 Yrs!

  11. Mpombo has failed to impress the President with his boot licking character. Did I get that correct? Maweeee!!!!!!!!!, so all those who are still enjoying the big boss’ favors have managed what Mpombo failed to do -to impress the boss with boot licking.

  12. #9 good afternoon. Let Mpombo continue his utterances and see where it gets him, he is gallant today? wow we have short memories. Like it or not RB is in state house and is at helm in MMD. You have to get to the grassroots and not yapping to the post if you want real change. Please define freedom of speech, all that has to be within accepted confines. You can’t insult the president and call it freedom of speech, you can critic but not insult. What does that say about what kind of leadership Mpombo and friends would bring. They just want statehouse and nothing else. what has he done for his constituency? RB should go but the insulting must stop!

  13. But # 9 Simon, every insitution has rules and the aim of these rules are to ensure that the insitution can achieve its prime objectives. In this case that is to control the tools of authority now when someone like Mpombo comes on the scene even if he is saying all the right things there is need to control the damage that has been inflicted on the party and maintain some dcispline or you will have all these pipo fighting and destroying the party from within.

  14. Agreed i am an MMD cadre, but not sponsored, some of us are expensive to be bought. The new blood I allude to is not RB and the Kateles but the people on this blog and the intelligent young Zambians in Zambia, there will be a shift of guards in due course. Yes MMD is on fire but sometimes things have to be bad to get better.

  15. Well done MMD You Are Kicking Out People who are doing the right Things and you are remaining Bootlinkers.Next is Mangade and please do it the Sooner before further destruction is done. MMD had people with Big Brains when they come into Power not Ma Rubbish you have put in as Ministers. Youth with big Brains are now needed more than ever.

  16. LOL #20 now I am not human? where is the so called freedom of opinion and expression are are so trying to defend by allowing a citizen to insult the president? And yet I get crucified and have not even uttered an insult. I smell double standards. That said, please convince otherwise. MMD for me is the way to go, until you give me sensible alternative.

  17. Imwe ba MMD does it mean because Levy is dead you want to see also you party being dragged to the grave by Mbwezani and you are there just watching? Where are the men and women of Integrity in this party which used to be so vibrant? PLEASE genuine MMD members where are you MMD is dying? You have ALL decided to keep quite out of your cowardice while Mbwezani is finishing your party with his dictatorship type of leadership.

  18. # 4 PF has given the same reasons that you have given againt their rebel MPs, and MMD have been the ones who have been shielding them from expulsion.Chiwamina Galu!

  19. Ka Simon #9 Stop the rot! I wish you understood the trail of this final decision. In fact the suspension was long overdue. Mpombo is a disgruntled old fool. For your record: This is the same fool that said he was resigning to concentrate on other person things such as pursuing an MBA and farming plus a couple of business ventures. I bet the man expected to be pleaded for.

  20. I think any political party tries to promote a unified vision, even if leadership is going wrong. So Mpombo has been pleading to be expelled by attacking the head. Part of the freedoms of association is the fact that one is free to resign and form or join another party. But it does not say you cant be expelled. To be in the same party, you need to suscribe to the same or similar ideals

  21. It appears we do not understand the meaning of democracy. Its unfortunate that Mr. Chilambwe has gone ahead to announce the suspension of Mpombo and soon to be followed by expulsion. I hope these guys have done their best or else it will be another defeat of bigger magnitude than Kasama Central. Those who suspending and hatching expulsion of members with divergent views are just destroying MMD. Mr. Chilambwe failed to deliver Copperbelt urban and with this impending expulsion of Mpombo what next. The MMD NEC should be sensitive to what its majority membership are complaining about. The few vocal men like Chilambwe are just there to sing praise thy master and will never manage transform MMD into a winning Party. Just wait and see.

  22. #24 we as MMD are watching not out of cowardice but out of strategy. you have to note that RB has surrounded himself with mouth pieces of the party and some people that are senior now including the chairman Mr. Mabenga since being appointed dep. minister. You need tact to win such a fight and coming out in the open now will totally destroy the party as there will be spilitter factions which we don’t want. But in due time, MMD shall rise and have its on leadership. You dont argue with a stubborn person but you make them your friend and not enemy.

  23. #17 and 19. Explained the way number 19 POSITIVIST pa Zed has put it, yes i agree with you. The rules are there to serve the establishment – so this is the name of the game. The rules state that a convention must be held after a set period of time, to elect a president – nowhere in the rules does it say an acting vice president (unelected) can be MMD president. Remember the rules where there before RB and Mulongoti, they are the constant within the party. As for 17 CHINTOMFWAS assertion that the grass root is what matters, you make my point. RB has no support from the grass root, if he did, he would gladly go to the convention. I challenge you to tell me what insult Mpombo he has levelled against the president.

  24. Sometimes out of priciple it is ok to lose a seat than have someone burning your house in daylight. The seat can go to the opposition but that way he will be treated as one. It is more to Mpombos advantage to remain an MMD MP than MMD needs him. He wants to destroy from the inside.

  25. MMD should expel Mpombo from the party and so that we can go for the bye eletions so that the seat go for the opposition.Democracy is being lost at all cost

  26. The Copperbelt MMD chaps have started a ‘pissing-off contest’. As someone mentioned, Chilanga MMD youth will go for Magande…not wanting to be outdone by C’B ‘youths’. And I’m sure knew that this was coming…All that MMD needed was to hold a convetion. Comrades, we need intra party democracy for the country to be democratically managed.

  27. 26 “sir alcapone” i have no problem whatsover with the final decision. I think its a good thing that Mpombo is no longer identified with a bunch of mediocre puppets. Poverty is so entrenched in our country that grown men cannot see beyond a gratuity and a government car – they sell their souls. MMD should expel mpombo so that a by election is called. As for your provocation with the “ka” reference, i will treat it with the contempt it deserves – i am not and will never be on your level (with your 3 cars, houses and farms) We can keep this discussion civilised and we shouldn’t have it at all.

  28. The megalomania that they can excommunicate anyone anyway, save for the sycophants, will prove their undoing.

  29. George Mpombo, just go all the way and resign to force a by-election. I know you can never lose in Kafulafuta. Go with the PACT. It is the only way and light.

  30. As a reminder, the MMD NEC has not met to even discuss the holding of the convention. Until that time comes, it all based on speculation. President has said don’t talk about convention but not to say it has been cancelled. Actually sadly RB might win at the convention, which sitting president has lost any kind of election in Zambia? Magande vs RB or vs Mpombo, RB will win. And then there will be about a year before general elections. That is why others are watching from the sidelines and will make intentions known once convention is officially off.

  31. Joseph Chilambwe needs to cling to HERB because he has four wives he needs to feed at any cost.

  32. ISimon at 3 32 agree on the need for a convention but the way Mpombo has taken his fight calls for dicspline. And also consider that the NEC is a management team and as such they could decide to break the rules if they think it is in their best interest ( I am not talking national interest but party interest) Now when Mpombo goes to the press to attach them while what he is saying makes sense he is now fighting as an outsider. It is kind of like Sata’s PF. he as the CEO has decided that its not in his interest to have a conventuion and just see how he has grown in strength. ITS about strategy.

  33. 32 what would Mpombo benefit from being in MMD that he did not already have whilst he was in MMD? He was NEC member, Defence minister (acted as VP at times), MP, and all the other trappings of power that come with the Job. He chose to give them all up.

  34. A ruling Party cannot afford to ignore inimical moles in its ranks and file when it has facts, tools and expertise to authenticating things. The way out is to sanitize itself of deluded chaps in its ranks after eating with both hands. What the MMD PEC has done is good riddance to its party and democracy because its the only way the country can foster a spirit of responsibility and choice in politics.

  35. Saboteurs deserve nothing but ruthless counter measures. This country has had many such fanatics and patriots have always handled them precisely to their regret.Mpombo with his self flaunted thick skin mantra must be proved swimming in myth of his grooving career. Henceforth patriots must take Mpombo on with determination.Politicians must stay out of the way. Mpombo as an an insurgence deserves nothing but actions that are tenaciously vicious, systematic with and unwaveringly ferocious.Put a full sledge hammer on him until he implodes.

  36. ok now patriot is an extremist but these are the various political strategies that political players need to resort to

  37. I agree with # 25. MMD and RB is encouraging and shielding the rebel PF MPs. These rebels are bussy destroying PF and SATA . Let Mpombo, Shakafuswa and Magande etc also tear them apart. It is good for them also. If they are not happy let them encourage the speaker to declare all these seats vacant so that we go for bye elections in PF rebel areas and MMD rebel areas.

  38. And personally i do not have any sympathy for Mpombo, he was quite a irritant under the LPM (SC). He was busy fighting any dissenting voice so probably its just time for him to taste his own poision

  39. I SAW IT COMING AND I HOPE MANY BLOGGERS HERE SAW IT COMING TOO. MPOMBO JUST WENT TOO FAR, EVEN THOUGH I DONT AGREE WITH MMD LEADERSHIP MPOMBO WAS SUPPOSED TO LEAVE THE PARTY AND STAND AS AN INDEPENDENT OR ON PF PACT WHICH HE WOULD WIN EASILY. BUT TO GO ALL THE WAY IN THE MANNER THE POST USED HIM TO SELL THEIR PAPER WITH MPOMBO HEADLINES IS LACK OF INTEGRITY FOR MPOMBO. AS FOR KATELE AND OTHER MINIONS AND CHARLATANS LIKE MULONGOTI AND SHIKAPWASHA INCLUDING STUBBORN RUPIYA; YOUR DAYS ARE NUMBERED TOO. BESIDES THE HIRING AND FIRING IN MMD IS VERY SHAMEFULL.

  40. Simon you never cease to amaze me. Its very unfortunate that you are still obsessed with my achievements and are still able to reference them each time you see my pseudo name. The ‘Ka” reference was not in anyway meant to provoke you. I wonder how you could have reacted if i had referred to you as “chi” or “Ba”. Anyways back to the bone of contention, Mpombo is not the hero he seems to be playing at the moment. This is the same chap who used to say plenty of garbage against the PACT leaders when he was up there. At one time he even advocated for the AGE limit with the aim of blocking SATA. As a member of the PACT i will make sure that we do not welcome this buffoon. Its now that he has come to his senses that once you are out its tough to go back. We are seeing kicks of a dead…

  41. #41, it may not be the fruits of the job that Mpombo would benefit from. He knew he was not in favor with RB therefore made a decision to leave before he was let go. He has higher ambitions of going to State house and Rb was blocking them. But to answer you,it is adavatageous for Mpombo to be in MMd because he would be fighting from the inside and not outside. He will not make news if he is opposition because that is what opposition do. But from the inside, it makes better news hence him getting publicity. What platform is he using at the moment? Convention and if he is out, it shouldnt be his issue any more since its an MMd matter.

  42. #51 please let me correct the assertion of the new blood- how would i mean the same people that have been in the party since it was formed, since UNIP came into existence. This is a proocess of self renewal in the MMD and new blood is actually refering to people like yourself on this blog that are paasionate about their country and are expressing opinions. MAMA G, and my i please advice that new blood at least in my sense for political reasons does not mean young blood, it is the allowance of new ideas that have not been in the system.

  43. People do sriously forget easily this was always going to happen remember when they where compaigning and he said vote for PF with his boss right behind him, i must say it was shocking that he stayed on for that long it was clear where his mind was

  44. Chintomfwa 52, ok, let us suppose you are right about him fighting from within. Is there enough tolerance within MMD to allow dissenting views? How can this be when decisions are made (such as RB being automatic candidate for 2011) without agreement of NEC (incl Mpombo at the time)? Secondly, personalities aside, do you believe that MMD and RB specifically, is steering the country in the right direction? Both economically and politically. #50 Sir Alcapone, i apologise if you think i have something personal against you, maybe i misunderstand you. For anything i have written that has caused you pain/anger or seemed malicious – i apologise sincerely. You have it on record for all to see.

  45. Have you evetr wondered why people like akashambatwa mbikusita are so quiet about the noise that is going on in mmd despite being the political advisor to the president. Aka is a founder member this quietness is worrying. has he stopped using his brains to think that he is using his stomach. Most of R.B’s ministers are quiet about this same noise. Doesnt this click dangers in the mmd. R.B wake up and live in reality one day you will find yourself alone. Mabenga has sensed the danger he has reduced yapping. This is free advice leave or take it

  46. As patriotic Zambians we should make sure that we are not hoodwinked by this buffoon. What aches my heart is the way he has been daring the government simply because he was some minister of defense. It all seems the man considers himself a ka demi-god because he has at his exposure all the state military secrets by virtue of having held the post of Minister Of Defense. He is mixing his madness with the security of this nation which is totally wrong. The man is ready to sacrifice us for his own sake. He wants to become a martyr!!!! Those that are supporting or sympathizing with this mad cow are short sighted and do not read thus are too forgetful. Spend some time reading and archiving local current affairs to boost up your memory.

  47. #55 Simon, There is not enough tolerance inside MMD that is why it is better for him to cause strife from inside and not as an opposition member. What is he getting is the publicity which is coming very cheaply without paying for it in that he is in MMD and firing shots at them. Otherwise he will be another HH and Sata. On the direction of the nation, definitely the mood is not inspiring but the Macro economic indicators are still ok looking at the GDP grwoth of 2008 and also the fact that Copper fell in 2008. The fruits of good governamce under LPM are still there but will rot if something is not done. If you look at stats, we are almost where we were but it is the mood and belief that has gone down, is this sustainable-NO. And i still think Rb has some very good and hardworking pipo.

  48. Only pa Zed – this english is so typical “brough the name of the ruling paryt into disrepute” What does this really mean!!!!!

  49. Some of the ministers that were with LPM are still in this govt and some yes are dissapointing but some are still brilliant and they are working quietly for the cause they so believed in. The head is what is worrying.

  50. George set a trap for the MMD shit stem and appears like everything is moving according to his plan with many true MMD members in the back ground, I can guess his next move will be to form a splinter party and the monster RB will be left alone like Mikhael Gorbachev ( a king sitting on an empty throne) when the Soviev Union disintegrated.

  51. Well done MMD that guy cited reasons for resignation as to concentrate on th studies, but its very unfortunate that ths old men has been issueing statements in th press instead of following th procedure when u hav any grievance for me ths old men is not brave an he is a coward coz if he realy means well for his party i suppose he could hav done better than this.

  52. I thought he was already suspended. Well, at least he is still alive and has not dissapeared mysteriously or become a victim of an “accident”.

  53. With MMD having nothing to do with him,the whole predicament has only presented Mpombo with a very dangerous vulnerability to hardliners and other outlaws he may have offended during the Mwanawasa hay days. You know how he use to insult any dissent to Mwanawasa.I fear for him Mpombo could be wrecked in on the road or take his fate gruesomely over prosecutor Mukelabai Mukelabai whom the family tree assassinated in his Hotel room.Is President Sata and Hichilema giving Mpombo enough 24/7 security detail?

  54. #64 I dont agree that Mpombo is a coward, I think the ones who are cowards are those who have remained quite seeing the party losing direction just because of Mbwezani. I think though you would call Mpombo as a coward I think he is not. Thats why our country always goes backwards in terms of leadership and development because we always think that when you criticizes your leaders then you are not following procedure even when you are seeing things going in a wrong direction.

  55. Please i know a lot of pipo are disgrutled with the present leadership but that is no reason to lose our memories.Remember Mpombo for what he was a bootlicker.Given a chance to be in power again i dont see how this bootlicker would change.Remember how this shameless old fool was kneeling before LPM.He did the same to RB.He would have continued with RB the only problem was the suspicion of RB and his camp toward Mpombo Magande and Maureen. So in my view there are no issues of principle here the old fool took this route because he knew they would get rid of him anyway.Let us get rid of his likes Munkombwe,VJ etc

  56. Slowly but surely the MMD is voting itself out of the race in 2011. Its a pity they dont seem to see that. Well, all the best guys, mukalosha!!!!!

  57. When all is said and done, the issue here is not with the person that is Mpombo. It is the principle of Democracy. The politics of poverty which erodes the core of integrity and principle. It is 2009 and some people still need an explanation as to why someone should not be punished for expressing his opinion. Only in Zambia.

  58. politics in Zambia zre so backwards, opposing something dont mean you are a rebel. what happened to free minds

  59. Check—— Check—— … The PACT is itching to play check mate!!!!!!!! Viva Mpombo… nshimbi panshimbi!.. Mpombo just resign now and join the PACT .. we need GALLANT patriots like you in the Pact!!!

  60. Long over due. GM haz said a lot of thingz lately and you would wonder if he still belongs to the MMD. But again we know who will laugh last when all iz said and done, reality and truth can be very disturbing.

  61. The right to free expression does not include the right to be taken seriously and every person’s freedom ends where the other person’s freedom starts.

  62. Heee…ba ngwele ba MMD-thieves . Just fire him from the MMD so that the PACT gets the seat. I think we do not need Mpombo in the PACT . Let him just work for us for the better Zambia. KAFULAFUTA here we come.

  63. The question now is not where or when he’s going to stop, but who’s going to stop him.

  64. Not that I regard Mpombo as a hero. No, he doesn’t have it. But the rascals in the UNIP/MMD camp make thugs look like angels. And when is it all going to stop, this culture of witch-hunting? Well, with the chief witchdoctor – Muloi Katele – as the CEO of MMD, yes, this culture will go on and on and on. Grow up, kids. Our mothers have no clean water.

  65. For me, the best strategy for me is not dealing with individuals, rather deal with the system the individuals keep critizing within the party. Or else, at some point these individuals will become relevant, and the system irrelevant. Take the case of Namakando in Western Province. The guy is relevant to MMD people in Western Province, and yet he has remained outspoken despite being dissolved. Aka has become irrelevant. I wish poeple in MMD would see this.

  66. MMD STRATEGY AND POSSIBLE FALLOUT

Now that King George is on his way out of the party, the next move will be for NEC to expel, but since the PACT and the POST are enjoying the circus, Mpombo may get an injunction like Chimbobamilimo and Shakafuswa and this will allow him to continue unleashing salvos.

MMD will not take it lightly and may unleash Youth Cadres on him and Chilanga youths will also start beckoning for Magande’s head. One thing about Cadres is that they do not think coz with the fuel crisis, people are pissed off with RB ( Round Belly) and his cohorts and its may be two constituencies down and things may begin to get dicey. But RB is confortable coz he has the 22 PF rebels as a caution. What a democracy we have ….

  67. How a politician living in Zambian today can claim that Mpombo has failed to impress Kanitundila with his bootlicking character can only arise from a mind demented in all its faculties. I wonder whether Chilambwe really understands the real meaning of the word bootlicking because if he did, he would have realised bootlickers do not resign out of their own free accord. Booklickers are the likes of Mlongoti, Shikapwasha, Teta and Katele, not Mpombo. Now that they have expelled him, let then call for a by election and the opposition will continue chipping away at the MMD numbers in parliament till its lost and Kanitundila is impeached for bringing the name of the presidence in disrepute because of turning himself into a monkey pit latrine.

  68. As is commonly known, neurosyphilis can mimic virtually any psychiatric disorder. The MMD’s neurosyphilitic sclerosis is clearly apparent as evident from the yellowish staining of the skin i.e. jaundice, of its primary organs such as Shikapwasha, Mulongoti, Katele and Kanitundila himself. Further, the the clearly neuromuscular Lock Jaw (Trismus) Mulongoti especially is manifesting throught his senceless and illogical statements is a sign that the end is near. Suspending Mpombo is nothing but tantamount to the last kick of a dying horse, plus its organs. Though this thieving and cheating beast needs to be destroyed and creamated lest its neurosyphilitic sclerosis is contagious and spreads accross the political landscape.

  69. Mpombo is the man! He’s got a head and uses it unlike our President who’s a headless Chicken and runs all over the world. #4, i know you. You’re an operative from OP special branch assigned to monitor Lusaka Times and later clamp down on it. Please take your intelligence operative a$$ somewhere else and stop lying to us. We’re not dumb and can read inbetween the lines.
Come 2011, we shall kick the old hag out of Plot one and lets see if Dora will stick give him head. These retards in power should just give up, they have failed to run the country

  70. We know your plan ba MMD, you are chasing whoever is speaking the truth. Its the convention that has brought about all this. You want to chase all those who are against so that you remain with abalyamo and hold a convention so that RB and NEC are un opposed. You can go to Hell with your rudeness! We are fade up of you.

  71. There are too many empty tins in zambia hence this kind of noise always coming out of it. This country needs people who must not be worshipped but those who can offer alternatives to the many problems that the country is going through. LET US STOP BEING TRIBAL AND REGIONAL thats the best medicine for our mother land. TOGETHER WE CAN DO IT WITHOUT ANY DOUBT! God redeem mother Zambia!

  72. YOUTHS stop being used by these selfish men and women! Get together and learn from some of these great men and women of zambia with vast experience. Who have shown that they mean good for zambia BUT not job seekers. Where is that old SPIRIT of our fathers of self discipline, truthfulness and hard work? Come on men! Stop wasting time on useless things!

  73. MMD,u have done mpombo good he thot he waz wise and i cant wait to hear tht he haz been expelled from the party, shame to u mpombo.

  74. Mpompo is brave and spoke in a democratic manner. Expelling him is not the solution, the MMD have to accept criticism. RB is not MMD he is a UNIP son. Zambia is becoming a lawless society with no regards to the judiciary so who ever has power can use it. MDD is on its way to a breakway party like what happened in the third term with Chiluba. MMD rethink your strategy allow people to speak. You might as well call Zambia a one party state.

  75. i really missed this party, bambi abantu, tabakwetepo akalango- madness is wat keep the moving.. # 10, will ‘teach usome wisdom- where 2 or more people are gathered and they are thinking in the same way, then u should realise they is sumthing wrong. mpombo was a bootlicker with mwanawasa but fail out of favour with rb. and he has a right to speak and hello, we all can se that wat he is saying abt mmd and rb is all true that why you have kicked him out. shame on you and your movement for mass destruction (mmd)

  76. Ba Mukudya Mweka Daddy suck!Mpombo sucks, too! This band of crooks have been messing with Zambians for 18 goddamn years! And whats there to show for it?And you know why they keep messing with us?Because of people like some of you here..who become so blind and see heroes in people like Mpombo and the like! These are ‘leaders’ who only yesterday borrowed your cow and sold you the milk from it,yet here you are…lost all that memory..and are ready to give him another vote just because he bandies with other chameleons in another party!!Shame!!That`s why it will take eons,if ever, before Zambia can develop. What we need are not turncoats who can appeal to your forsaken emotions…not leaders with peripheral or tunnel vision…but true visionaries who embrace the 21st century body, mind and soul.
