The University of Zambia Caretaker Committee has terminated the contracts of Vice Chancellor Prof Luke Mumba and his Deputy Dr. Tamala Kambikambi.
In a news statement, UNZA Registar Theresa Chalwe said the termination of contracts is with effect from today, May 6th 2022.
“The termination are in line with the relevant clauses of their respective contacts of employment. The Caretaker Committee has thanked the Vice Chancellor and the Deputy Vice Chancellor for their immeasurable services to the University of Zambia and wish them the best in their future endeavors.”

Hallelujah ,,Praise God in heaven, UNZA is my compass and i was taught life lessons from there that i still use internationally to date. But since the arrival of this cadre at institution our Education Standards were highly questionable to a point where, recently, only one student passed the ZIALE exams. Look at the performance sheets of all deans aswell-very very poor. This PF cadre managed cadre rise UNZA aswel as was with Markets & Bus stations. He is even the one who gave a fake degree to Esther Lungu-the gogo who cant even speak English for an hour, so what language did she use when writing questions for her degree cos? Look at the recent number of politicians with fake degrees recently.

Competency or the lack thereof has no tribe. We should move away from fanning inflammatory sentiment.
