While Zambia’s Under-23 teams 2012 Olympic Games qualifier preparations have hit a snag, those of opponents Algeria are in full swing ahead of the June 3 second round, first leg game in Algiers.
Zambia Under-23 friendly against Sudan is off as the Sudanese failed to confirm the May 29 friendly date in Khartoum that Faz confirmed last Wednesday.
Lucky Msiska’s team entered camp on Monday.
However, Algeria have been busy and have played two friendly matches against guests Senegal over the last four days.
Algeria drew 0-0 with Senegal on May 14 at the Stade du 20 Août d’Alger in Algers where they will host Zambia.
And today at the same venue, Algeria lost 2-1 to Senegal in the second of two friendly matches planned against the West Africans.
Overhauling FAZ is necessary but not at the expence of the Kamanga group. Their conduct is unprofessional and immature. They are neither 100% in every respect themselves. What is driving them is the money in FAZ. I personally condemn the Newspapers that are always propping up whatever problem there is in FAZ, they must have an interest as well.
However, I just wonder why every friendly game arranged by FAZ has always failed? I thought by now we should be looking to West African countries for friendlies, what is going wrong with FAZ? Kalusha and your committee please wake up! I think my admiration for you is now ???? out.
can’t blame sudan, in fact its good that sudan have returned the favour after what happened to their team when they camped in zambia for two weeks. Faz did a dirty on them by picking a football club posing as national team players. So Faz thought the sudanese have forgotten if i can still remember???Even ghana the same thing happened in london..i will be shocked if ghana’s football authorities take Faz serious again…so its a good slap in the face by the sudanese…good job and good lesson for Faz.
