7. Why is it that PF thinks it’s ok to attack the media. Why is it that no one in PF has spoken out against this blatant unwarranted attacking of the media. PF should respect the media. This behavior is savage, barbaric, disgusting and unwanted.

   Sometime back, Dr. Guy Scott launched an unwarranted, scathing attack on the Zambi.an Watchd.og simply because he viewed them as anti-PF. If that is not the icing on the cake, PF blocked the public media from covering their sham convention and also physically attacked MUVI TV journalists. Is this an example of how “press freedom” will be like should the impossible situation happen that PF forms govt?

   PF should respect journalists and the Press. This blatant attacking of the media is not democratic. PF should be ashamed of themselves.

All they do is cook negative stories about Sata and the PF-so what do you expect from the PF. Actually since znbc have decided to be so biased, they should only be collecting tv licence fee from RB and his MMD followers because they are currently the only ones gaining from there propaganda.

15. Ba Capitalist, who told you that in a democracy you cannot deny someone membership or access to you and yours? Even in a democracy a group of people can decide who to associate with and who to befriend. In fact, that is the true essence of democracy. You pick and choose. If PF picks not to associate with those they deem hostile to them, that is their democratic right. People have a right to pick, so does PF. When did access by the hostile media to PF become the gauge of democracy?

    I am also wondering why you decided to stay mum when MMD attacked The Post journalists at the airport if you believe coverage by the media signifies democracy? How come you failed to condemn RB when he dragged Kabwesha and other Post reporters to jail and courts if you are a true believer in democracy.

25. The last time I checked, The Post was privately owned and as such they use no public funds to run their affairs which makes them immune from public cries of bias. The simplest you can do with The Post is avoid them. The others are taking public funds and as such they must serve the public equitably. They are not an MMD run or funded media houses.
