Zambia will travel to Sudan for the first leg Group D qualifier on the road to the Brazil 2014 Fifa World Cup.
Dario Bonetti’s side is in Group D together with 2010 World Cup quarterfinalist Ghana and Sudan.
The fourth member of Group D will be determined between Burundi and Lesotho who meet in a preliminary round two-leg knockout qualifier this November.
Meanwhile, Zambia will travel to Khartoum during the weekend of June 1, 2012 to face Sudan.
According to Fifa, Zambia will face Ghana on match day two in Ndola on August 6 next year.
Group D winner will join nine other teams in the final group of 10 to decide which five sides will represent Africa in Brazil in 2014.

Forget about brazil 2014 first concentrate on AFCON , otherwise u will be confused. If u check how Ghana and sudan have performed in AFCON qualification its wonderfull at the same time they are in the same group , Zambia is no match for them . so better get training at AFCON and face them next year at NDOLA STADIUM BUILT BY CHINESE

This is wht I expected. If we go and hammer Sudan at home then a month later hammer Ghana ll have six points. We therefore, can plan from there when we top the group
This is the best group for Zambia in the sense that the presssure is on Ghana to win the group as it is the high profile team in the group. With the right approach Zambia could do well as they have nothing to lose. But the fact remains Ba Zambia makula period. !

Qualifying to the AFCON iz no big deal for Zambia. It iz how we have performed lately at the tournament that matterz. Withe right kind of attitude Ghana and Sudan(the main or new state?) can be tamed.
