  1. Sad people; no brains.  Another lost opportunity to rub PF’s nose in the mud for wasting national resources.

  2. Very well done PF. This will not only hurt MMD but UPND as well.

Jesus, I should have been in Msanzala. They have had a lot of celebrations:

    September

    Last Monday

    And this one. Naumfwa akalijo!!!!!

  3. The outcome waz expected, but it iz the agony and cost of holding theze by-electionz that are significant.

  4. Excellent for Peter Daka to loose. He messed up as science and technology minister. I am sure he was thinking if he becomes MP he may have some immunity from prosecution. I urge the government to grab his plot in Ibex hill.

  5. Now that Msazala has voted for PF,let them wait for their electricity which Michael Sata promised them.Chongwe is still waiting as not even a single house has been electrified as promised by Sata during the bye- election which saw Masewo win the seat.I have no idea when Zambians will ever learn that SATA’s promises never come to pass!!!!

  6. Some people are giving life sentences for attempting murder whilst others are given 20 years for murder, it’s the oxymoron of democracy… Money may have been spent but the systems syas you can do such a thing and you do it… There are no morals in law it’s Yes or No that counts utimately.

  7. I hope wont create other by elections by enticing weaker and independent MPs by promising hem posts in govt. What next for Col Lungu?

  8. @ 1 still hating, word of advice,if u cant beat them join them and thats exactly what the newly elected MP did…so as usual I say VIVA PF…u guys u have once again proved MMD and UPND that they will owez come in second and third respectively….VIVA PF

    Haters suck it in…

  9. Bamu naya! Congrats PF. It’s MMD’s fault, they should have fielded a more credible person. It’s shhhhiiiiii!!!!!! all the way.

  10. It cant get worse than this! What is Lungu going to do now that he will not have done as an independent?I think this colonel is a moron. You cant read much from such characters.Zambia needs selfless people who can withstand such temptations to jam democracy and create a majority from bogus bye elections. He won then,he wins again and so what?God save us.GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.

  11. HH MUST BE SWEATN BEATERNESS WILL NOT TAKE YOU ANYWHERE IF YOU CANNOT BEAT THEM JOIN THEM UPND +MMD WHOOOOOOOOOO

  13. Congratulations PF although the by election cost the country a lot of money. Keep fighting hard because you need more MPs in the house

  14. This is an excellent result. While our ministers continue creating more jobs for the youth and putting more money in our pockets, this MP will be electrifying Katete and boosting development. We (PF) are great!!!!

  15. WELL DONE. COLONEL LUNGU, ANYWAYS IT WAS OBVISOUS AS PETER DATA GROW TOO BIG HEADED AND TOO TOO FAT, VERY useless MP ever elected in Petauke District, Next is Petauke Central ???Guess who the MP is?? Miss Silly INSULTS??, DORA ??.

  16. Pipo of msanzala have just declared themselves as I.DI.OTS. We shall see if your fellow I.di.ot will be Minister and if there will be electricyt in your small mud huts

    • AMasauso, We come from Petauke, what are you talking about?? Do you know capabilities of Colonel Lungu?? You can never compare him to that Foo.l Peter Data and his brother Bertram at the council, they took Petauke in their hands, very corrupt chups. so don’t call people from msanzala as I.doits. You and Peter are I.doits we don’t want in Petauke ok?? Nga Nimwa analume ngaongao namachende, tipeni number yanu?? Kupusa tufunalini yayiii mwabwa?? Zilemekezeni??

  17. Pipo of msanzala have just declared themselves as I.DI.OTS. We shall see if your fellow I.di.ot will be Minister and if there will be electricyt in your small mud huts

  18. love for our nation should supersede our love for a political party. now all you who think this election  results is good for our country just remember that people like lungu and those who sponsor such behavior have no loyalty or honour. if you don’t remember am sure they will remind you soon.
chaps like lungu neither care for our nation nor you as a person, they care about themselves. those that sponsor such political madness care about their political survival not national survival. this behavor is not new we saw it during FTJ, LPM and RB’s reign. it seems we have just told MCS to continue in this path.we are yet to see more by election with national progress. shame on the voters

  19. Kenya is ok. Fight against corruption has been abandoned by Chi Sata. Thats why he removed Kambwili from labour (lose of urban support) and Dr Malama IG. He has tested chinese money. He will know this when there is a by-election in urban centers………………………….No more arban support? How can a chinesee Man insult minister and still stay? Try it in china, you insult ambassor or minister, you insult appointeee…………

  20. it safe for me to conclude that we the people care less about our welbeing. but we wrongly accuse the politician of no caring about us. what else can s/he do. the quality of politicians will improve only when the quality of electorates improves. this is a shame

  21. honestly how do you stand with a candidate from the ruling and you think you can win? ba Peter Daka just bring back the vehicles you’ve hidden in malawi and try something else quit politics you are finished.

  22. @26 Global. If we are yet to see more by-elections with national progress, I am happy-honest!

  23. @ 22 Masauso??? We come from Petauke, what are you talking about?? Do you know capabilities of Colonel Lungu?? You can never compare him to that Foo.l Peter Data and his brother Bertram at the council, they took Petauke in their hands, very corrupt chups. so don’t call people from msanzala as I.doits. 24. So you pipo that are calling voters all sorts of names, what did you want them to do? They made there choice and a prepared to live with them. Lungu also made his choice. And you guys who want Sata to electrify the country in 4 months should take it easy. First it the Afcon, second it is the constitution. The first 5 yrs will be laying the foundation and the remaining 15 yrs is developing the nation.

  25. @ 31 spot on, actually its Peter Daka’s relatiuves on this blog that are calling voters names, the chup (Chi PETER DAKA) was so useless anyways, colonel Lungu is a much serious man than that fo.ool Busy selling Council plots with his brother. Actually we have to write to Dr Luo to Investigate & fire him as well. VIVA COLONEL LUNGU VIVA PF

  26. #32 sheikh if lungu meets your criteria of a serious man, then i am over rating voters of msanzala. having 45% of voters who think like you ensures that zambia remains were it is. but having 51% of chaps like you will help this country regress and degenerate into a zimbabwe.

    • That’s not the case mate?? Do you know why Lungu stood as Independent?? Because of MMD’s Corruption and lack of vision, they sidelined him for nonsense? He still won the election despite RB’s Favoritism. He is Far better MP than PETER FYI and we will Progress as a nation. Some of you just want to condemn with no facts. Would Like to know how familiar you are with MPs in Petauke coz I know them personally all of them including Dora??? WE KNOW WHO IS IN FOR THE PEOPLE OR THEMSELVES, DESPITE BEING IN DIASPORA. MAKE TIME FOR ZAMBIA SO THAT YOU DON’T LOSE TOUCH…

  27. #32 Italian: you are right and am with you on that. am just thing….. what is the probability?

  28. CONGRATULATIONS PEOPLE OF MSANZALA. AND WHATS THIS I HEAR- HH WAS FOUND PRACTICING HOW TO DANCE AND DO THE ‘DONCHI KUBEBA’ IN HIS BACKYARD GARDEN? PEOPLE IN THE KNOW CAN YOU PLEASE THROW SOME LIGHT ON THIS.

  29. So UPND has seriously married MMD? My God!!!!!! HH is an idiot. A big one. He cant see that MMD is slowly killing UPND. He couldnt field a candidate in Msanzala but instead decided to partner with MMD, does he know what he is doing to his party? Nervous Mumba is taking over MMD and I can assure HH that he will not be recognized by Nervous. Remember Nervous is power hungry and very charismatic. When he takes over, HH will never be head.
