Former republican Vice president Enoch Kavindele says the Patriotic Front’s inconsistencies in Economic policy will cost the party in future elections.
Mr. Kavindele says it is important that the government is consistent on the economic policy statements being made.
He says it is important for the government to win the people’s confidence by being consistent in order to remain in power beyond 2016.
He noted that inconsistencies in policies are also likely to scare away investors which might result in negative consequences for the economy.
Mr. Kavindele said investors do not take kindly to inconsistencies as they might pack and leave before government realizes it.
He said for development to be guaranteed in the country, there is need for focus and consistency on the part of the Patriotic Front government.

Inconsistencies will cost PF? Is the man talking from experience? Kavindele like me has been one of the most inconsitent fellows Zambia has ever known! He had no stand of his own. No wonder the man like me is a big loser.
Is this the guy that got a zero vote during the MMD convention? At least he should have been a bit specific with economical policy inconsistance
Yielding to popular calls from the masses, with internal consensus MMD is for the
1). 50+1,
2). Â Running mate and
3). Dual Citizenship  adaption and enactment in the new constitution.
I can bet you with facts, President Sata is viciously opposing all these but unfortunate for him, he will be humiliated because these will pass in the new constitution. Â
Of all people, Kavindele should be the last one to make such statements, for he is the “biggest inconsistent” politician in Zambia! Even in this statement, I see alot of inconsistencies. Why does he want PF to last beyond 2016? What is his interest now? Why did he then, just last week, want to lead MMD in 2016 with a view of disloging PF from power?
But this “PF throwback” league is against every wish of the people. They are now belaboring to kill the wishes of the masses by knocking off every progressive and popularly included clause in people’s  draft constitution. These PF throwbacks are authentic enemies of progress, the people and national peace, democracy success. Can they get away with it against the people? Let the battle of who holds real powers begin.Â
PF is not consistent with any policy. Look at the issue of street vending, expansion of Lusaka business centre, corruption fight, disregard for the constitution and processes, a lot is there to show that these are people with least chances to show consistency with anything. Now Kabimba and VP are on record fighting a people driven constitution to a PF manefesto led constitution. Even when their own ministers do not understand the PF manifsto atfer reading it. to understand to PF manifesto it requires Summer Winter to explain to the ministers. What a govt for the next few years?
Kavindele is right. I am just wondering why people are still supporting PF.Â

Why does Zambian news revolve around particular individuals? Does this signify the low calibre of Zambian journalists? Coming to the issue at hand, EK is giving the PF timely advice. It is up to PF to either take it or leave it.
Good advice but PF cadres are insulting him. Just thank EK for pointing out issues that may cost you elections.

PF should learn to be consistent and provide policy directions rather than distributing party manifestos by summer kabimba. translate your manifesto into actionables through some strategic plans then distribute to us civil servants. 2016 is coming soon. this year will be lost without tangible achievements. farmers are still wondering what direction is the agriculture policy taking ,so many statements.
Insult the man… Â he has seen it all. Zambian are not fools. 2016 will be a very historical election for the Zambia… its will be the end of Independence era politics. You can fool some people some time but you can not fool all the people all the time….

I hope the PF doez not one day wake up wishing they had listened to this free constructive advice from Enock Kavindele. Like the young and vibrant Elias Chipimo, we have politicianz who really want to see a better Zambia irrespective of who iz at State House.
