Mr Thole said that he was aware that some councilors and ward development committees have raised concerns with the dealy in the disbursement of the funds saying it would affect the developmental projects.

“The money of CDF will not be release now until the audit report,” he said.

And acting Chipata Municipal Council town clerk Caroline Mphande said the council had embarked on a land audit exercise.

Mrs Mphande said that the council was carrying out a land audit for plots issued from 2009 in various parts of the district.

She said plot owners were being asked for among other things offer letters and receipts for the payments of the plots.

Mrs Mphande said this was because the council had faced various challenges to issue land to people that wanted plots when most land had been not been developed.

  1. What good news from Chipata. And anyone who has no structure must be re-possessed immediately, and be offered only to those who demonstrate unquestioned capacity to develop. We are tired of this stupidity in this country. Those who want to live in towns must be willing to follow town based development ideas or else let them re-locate to the villagers before our country returns to stone age.

  2. let there be a land audit in lusaka west behind garden house hotel as well. This place has many irregularities

  3. Certainly an audit is a MUST. Let those who abused the funds be exposed and prosecuted before others dive in.Meanwhile you councillers stay put we know you have an interest not for genuine developmental projects but your pockets.

  4. The actual Bend Bend style is a lot much more luxurious as well as intended for clients that like to end up being because showy within their design since the manufacturer

  5. Donning these wonderful items you thinks just like a product going for walks on the bring
