Draws for the October 27 Barclays Cup semifinals are expected to be conducted this week by FAZ following Saturdays quarterfinals games.

Power beat Kabwe Warriors 1-0 to advance and keep teir hopes of retaining the Barclays Cup alive.

“We prepared for anything. It is nice we are still in the race as defending champions,” Chambeshi said.

“In cup football you can play a good game but the most important is to qualify.”

Power secured their semifinal passage in the 87th minute after winger Simon Bwalya finished off a rebound after Warriors goalkeeper Kelvin Musonda had parried Kennedy Mudenda’s initial effort.

  1. Good game warriors you showed zambia that warriors will always have the best midfielders and that warriors will are still the masters of the passing game….. power’s replacement of the entire midfield was an indication that Abeaty Sakala Richard Kasonde and vincent chenda had undone the skills of the Famous Joseph Sitali ,Thomas Nyirenda and Sebastian Mwansa.. Kenndy Mudenda was reduced to nothing by Maybin Schimata…Warriors recevied a red card in first half but still played like a more premier division side than power…… Go warriors Go the masters of the passing game. power resorted to introducing a defensive Emmanuel Chipinde because warriors had taken over the much feared midfield in super league,,, Sitali’s famous runs were subdued by the inteligence of Richard kasonde …
