The Lusaka Magistrate Court has adjourned the matter in which Miracle Impact Ministries Overseer, John Nundwe, is accused of rape to April 14th, 2026 for ruling on case to answer.
In February 2026, Nundwe, 52 requested the Lusaka Magistrate Court to acquit him of the rape allegations.
The media reports that Nundwe also known to his followers as John General, argued that the prosecution team had failed to prove the essential elements of rape.
When the matter came up today, Lusaka Magistrate, Amy Masoja, indicated that the ruling was not ready, hence adjourned the case to April 14th, 2026.
Meanwhile, a 38 year old man of Lusaka has been found guilty of incest, contrary to chapter 87 of the Penal Code, of the Laws of Zambia.
