Haimbe said sectors such as industrialisation, agricultural transformation and energy transition present key opportunities for economic growth within the region.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, the minister noted that the gathering will provide an opportunity for member states to address important regional priorities while strengthening their economies through cooperation and integration.
The meeting, scheduled for March 12 to 13, 2026, will bring together SADC ministers to review regional programmes and deliberate on issues including food security and disaster risk management.
