Warriors, Nkwazi Promotion Confirmed

Kabwe Warriors and Nkwazi on Friday bounced back to the Super Division after the Faz disciplinary committee awarded them three points apiece following their un-played week 34 matches against Luena Buffaloes and Kascol Rangers respectively.

Warriors Chairman Andrew Kamanga confirmed that his team and Nkwazi have been awarded three points off Luena and Kascol respectively.

Kascol failed to travel to Lusaka to face Nkwazi last weekend while Luena failed to travel to Kabwe to play against the Rail-Way Men.
Warriors have now won the Faz Division One South League while Nkwazi have finished second.

The committee has since fined Luena K2million for failing to fulfil their match against Warriors and another fixture against Young Green Eagles.
Kascol were also fined K1million for failing to honour the fixture against Nkwazi.

  3. I wish to congratulate Kabwe Warriors Football Club Management, players and the supporters for the well deserved promotion back to where the Club belongs – the super division. The path the Club travelled this just ended season had more thorns than roses but you managed to pull through.

My cautionary advice is that there little time for celebrations. Now is the time to x-ray the the Clubs sponsorship deal and move towards consolidating the team. A few questions here. Are all business houses in Kabwe not interested in football? How can Management engange business houses and indeed ordinary soccer loving Kabwe residents to contribute and feel part and parcel of the Club? Again congratulations.

  6. “Warriors, Warriors, Warriors! Walya nganga ndiye walya nkhuku, walya kake aliye mulandu!” Lets go Warriors lets go!

  7. Warriors management should be serious with gate takings. Those church people who are used to sell tickets are also very crooked. The system they use is that when you buy a grandstand ticket, they do not tear it at the entrance. You are allowed to go in and that whole ticket is taken back to the ticket office and resold. I have seen this happenning on a number of occassions. So Mr Kamanga mubombelepo pali iyi trick.
