MMD Spokesperson Dora Siliya has been challenged by her party to explain what her visit to State house was all about in what appears to be a deepening rift in the former ruling party.

MMD National Youth Secretary Tobias Kafumukache says the party has information that Ms. Siliya visited State house the same day National Secretary Major Richard Kachingwe and party Chairperson for women affairs Catherine Namugala visited plot one.

Kafumukache says it is surprising why the visit of the two national executive committee members Major Kachingwe and Ms Namugala is being blown out of proportion when it was the National Executive Committee of the party that assigned them to converse with the head of State over the appointment of MMD members of parliament to government positions.

He says if some members think that the visit by the two officials was wrong, it would be better that the entire national executive committee of the party is hounded out for mandating the two officials to have a meeting with the head of State.

Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka this morning, Kafumukache says Ms. Siliya’s visit to State house should be explained to avoid speculations of her working with the Patriotic Front Government.

And Kafumukache has accused some party officials of sponsoring some party youths to cause confusion within the party.

He has also accused former party Lusaka province chairperson William Banda of organizing UPND youths to masquerade as MMD youths in an effort to destabilize the party.

Kafumukache says the party cannot afford to be ridiculed over simple issues instead of focusing on very important developmental issues that will benefit the people of Zambia.

  1. Oblivision here we come, can clueless Mumba really hold the inevitable crush landing of the MMD. Almost half of the NEC members are being accussed of not being loyal to the party, another half MPs are earmarked for expulsion and the rest are facing various corruption charges! Where is this party headed if not oblivision under visionless Mumba. Anywez we knew that this was bound happen as this party has nothing common to hold them together unlike when they were abusing resources, this time no ideology, no party vision, no leader…

  2. Chisusu, if you have started frequenting plot 1? Iyee mwebantu? This is the bi.tch who used to insult Sata just over a year ago. But politicians niba muselela kwakaba, eeeh.

    • Kuti wasuka watukana. When I was home last year, this swine was in mulenga compound dishins stuff and insulting the then now president with all the puke she could master. But now she knows life stinks and lets give her the chance she never gave the cobra himself. Micheal Sata for every ***** has been in government even since they were born. Lets see what your masters degree is gonna do now. You are at the mercy of the cobra, but it has happened before. “May Satan Knock You Down.” we shilu we.

  3. So the big man has an eye on those big bums, im sure whoever will call her Dora Sllit will be arrested now. Dora ndaifulila adabwisha shikulu.yalipena ama bums yakwe!

  4. “Speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka this morning, Kafumukache says Ms. Siliya’s visit to State house should be explained to avoid speculations of her working with the Patriotic Front Government.”

ISN’T THIS THE MOST STUPID MENTALITY.
WHO SAYS GOVERNMENT & OPPOSITION SHOULD NOT WORK TOGETHER

    • In my understanding, democracy simply mean being against however good the government in power is doing. A misconception of democracy. Micheal Chilufya Sata is now the president of the republic of Zambia and for those *****s who want to fight him, make sure you have got M60s. Bemba as I am unlike you scoundrels, I am gonna ask and question him but in line with the democratic tenets we have adopted.

    • I have not been contributing to LT for some time now but I read it everty day. So I am still around and leave that name so that there is no confusion who is who and who is contributing what.

  5. its so embarassing how stupid African r, not sure we need to talk about development coz we r a bush of losers,, this is not working together tax payers money is being wasted corrupting people to defections,

  6. MMD is this your end or you are slowly turning into a very small opposition political party, shem not good for democracy.these meeting not a good sign.

  7. This explains the caliber of opposition parties in zmb. Why cant they convene a private meeting and resolve the matter instead of going to the press? No wonder PF will remain in power for 30 years.

  8. Neither the ruling party, the opposition or the Army appears to be serious about leading Zambia to peace and prosperity.

  9. Be mindful president sata is a president of all zambians despite their political affiliation Iwe kamfumukache uletekanya waufwa….. Tobias Kafumukache says the party has information that Ms. Siliya visited State house the same day National Secretary Major Richard Kachingwe and party Chairperson for women affairs Catherine Namugala visited plot one.

  10. Ladies and gents, never trust politicians. They are crooked! Sata and Dora were trading insults not so long ago and now they should be in good talking terms! Nabo ba Sata abati ‘ok’ , kwangala uku!

  11. People should see these stories for what they obviously are – little more than attempt by the ruling party and its media cronies to destabilize the opposition.

Truly this sounds like much ado about nothing than any kind of deepening rift.

  12. I wonder why you people waste your breath complaining of the same issues over and over when all you neeed to do is inshrine in the constitution what you neeed to see happen happen. Don’t you see apartten here in these African Politics? ( ba muselela kwakaba ) will never end untill my advice above is adhered to. good luck Butondo

  13. interesting indeed!
it just looks RB is behind that Bowman die-hard for RB chap and I’m more likely to believe story that h wont sponsor MMD without ridding the NEC of those he doesnt like!
It is now a test for the Pastor Mumba, will he take money over loyalty???
It was actually a good story for Zambia how MMD stayed intact after defeat.
    watchinbg!

  14. Only when political party cadres wake up will we move forward as a young democracy…blindly following your “leaders” we lead you absolutely nowhere….
    Wake up!!!

  15. There is one thing I see in Sata – He does not keep grudges. It won’t surprise me to hear that Edward Mumbi has also visited state house. This element of forgiveness was badly missing in our former president – RB

  16. Lol, maybe Dora went to donate here ASS-ETS to ba kateka. She does have soft bums doesn’t she?

Wapya munzi. Dora, explain to your party kaili.

  17. But Zambians we have no secrets, so you think Obama and all those other world leaders do not have visits from opposition in private. Naye ana ulula ni wina. Why did you not ask them in private especially Miss Siliya……over a Tequila!

  18. I know Dora very well ,she has a habit of using “BOTTOM POWER” to get what she wants! RB alenyenge fye lyonse thats if why he called her smart dora ! If left unchecked she will finish bakateka. Chisusu wamupamba leave SATA and PF alone to deliver sela tubombeko as said by one scholar.

    • Walikwata amano iwe because I have not seen what these *****s see in Dora, except sh has more falling bobbies (amabele kopoko) than my mum who is in her 80’s.

  19. I have never liked Dora Siliya at all, but this MMD gabbage is going too far. Not even UNIP was this stupid. And yet you want to blame the PF for your stupid mistakes. Dora is going to be caged for abusing her office and the last man in defence, is the commander in chief. This bitch should go to hell, but these overgrown bold headed youths need to understand and know what she’s facing. Ipala ***** and yet you call yourself a youth. She knows she has a meeting with bed bugs and that’s why she is pleading after spending a few days at Chimbs. The only power who can undo the judges’s decision is the commander in chief she insulted everyday she was in government. I

  20. Prof @1- Mumba is a wrong person. I wonder what tricks he used to win the presidency. The sooner MMD kicks him out the better for Zambia. To him leadership is about being confrontational and keeping your mouth open 24 hours 365 days.

  21. Dora is now trying to use her body for pordon. She has forgotten thather and President RB and sons and her did not steal from President Sata but from Zambians. We are watching you, remember how you insulted Zambians when you were on ‘top’

  22. The PF support has been wanning. It;s public Image has been dented severly following the intra party fights. Now they are on an image building process.Dora Siliya,Dr.Banda and others will be romped in for that purpose soon.
TIn addition the bembas need the support of their cousins (Easterners) where UPND has slowly been creeping in.
From the comments above ,It is abvious that BEMBAS NO MATTER WHAT WILL ALWAYS VOTE FOR A BEMBA ,NO MATTER THE QUALITY.
