Opposition Alliance for Better Zambia General Secretary Erick Chanda has assured that the party headed by Fr. Frank Bwalya is on course.
In a press statement issued by Fr. Bwalya’s Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations Emmanuel Chilekwa, the registration of ABZ is progressing well.
“I take pleasure to announce to the nation at large and our potential supporters and well-wishers that, yesterday, Friday, 24th May 2013, the Registrar of Societies accepted receipt of ABZ application papers,” Mr. Chanda said.
“This followed undue delay by the Zambia Police to hand back to us the papers after scrutinizing them. I made the Kr 5,000 required payment at the Registrar of Societies in Ridgeway, Lusaka. Next week Tuesday morning, we will make a return trip to the Registrar’s Office for possible collection of our certificate. This, then means that ABZ has met all the registration requirements, in accordance with the Laws of Zambia.”
“The Zambia Police has signed an exit package against the Patriotic Front as Fr Bwalya would now commence the journey to becoming Zambia’s 6th Republican President in 2016. Come 2016. Nipa Mpoto and Fr. Bwalya for President,” said Mr. Chanda.
He said the nation will be informed on way forward soon adding that Fr. Bwalya has appealed to all well-wishers to now start gearing up for active participation in ABZ, a party set to galvanise every Zambian from all walks of life for a better Zambia.
