Blades chop-up Warriors

Share

Coach Beston Chambeshi begun his reign at Konkola Blades on a sound note after his new team thumped Kabwe Warriors 3-0 in Chililabombwe on Saturday.

A goal each from Lazarous Kambole, Peter Zulu and Humphrey Maseneko propelled Konkola to their first win in eight FAZ Super Division matches.

The Chililabombwe side last won on 4 May beating Forest Rangers 2-0 at Konkola Stadium.

Kambole gave the home team a 10th minute lead scoring against the run off play before Peter Zulu added Konkola’s second goal eight minutes later.

Zulu headed in a free kick expertly taken by his captain Robert Tembo.

Maseneko put the icing on the cake with a third goal eleven minutes before the final whistle after tapping in from close range.

Blades have now increased their tally to 19 points after a round of 15 matches played so far in the FAZ Super Division campaign.

  1. .Expected and accepted for Warriors. Since the departure of Chintu Kampamba and Kasonde warriors seem to lack depth and are too pedestrian going forward.
The team may survive relegation but not to compete for honors. How could trained Warriors become so careless in handling a razor blade that it must cut them three times. Remember Mr. Shonga that as the warriors fall down to nurse the wounds the club is also dropping down on the league table

  2. We can afford to loose any team as at now in chililabombwe to go in DIV-1. we are used of a game every weekend. guys poseniko amano. From RAZOR and POLICE SUPPORTER.

  3. Mr Kamanga don’t tell me that there no players in Kabwe town. What you do get at least KR2,000.00 from your pocket and start a tournament on league basis. You can also buy Six sets of jearsyes so that you start with Six teams for now and us you progress you can increase the number of teams. From the league you can get atleast five or more good players and fuse them in your team (Warriors). The players dont come from heaven. If you remember what Micheal Sayo used to make teams, you will agree that the idea I have given you is the same system Michael Sayo was using.
Please lets not take Warriors back to division one again.
