Awe wakula mwaiche.I still remember how i used to jam to that one hit wonder of yours called “Nigwililile.” It good to see now how you look as a grown up.But to be honest this latest effort of yours ain`t too good.Maybe it is about time your forgot about music mwana and do something else.Anyway keep on pushing bro.
AUTO TUNE through out song! and yet they call this music. God forbid!
Even with the help of auto-tune he still sounds terrible. I’m not trying to knock his hustle but lets call a spade a spade – this is a clear epitome of the bull sh*t that brings embarrassment to our nation. Sit down son, nobody has time to sugar coat or give sentimental treatment to this crap – Real Talk.
Ata ka pillow fight kunuma. Not a nice piece.
It’s not working. The accent does not mesh well. Do Zambian.
Whats wrong with this accent? Why are you people looking for a Chongololo accent in a song? Have you ever listened to pigin or Jamaican? The West Africans and Jamaicans sing in their own English. The music in this video isn’t fantastic but accent is the last thing we should be criticising.
Umwina Zed it’s about context. When Nigerians sing in English they use pidgin English and it is very clear. If’ you’re going to sing in English, don’t try to sound western and fail to deliver in terms of lyrical quality and expression (accent). A typical Nigerian accent would also no work in a song unless used with pidgin. This dude has a typical bemba/Nyanja accent and that is distracting when he sings in English. I would be less distracted if he sang in Zedian English, mixing in English and Nyanja words all at the same time.
OK perhaps I get you…. dont try to sound western.
Try working for the Chinese.
Umwina zed mpika economist puts it well. I agree with both of you but if a Zedian wants to sing in English they should do it well. They should also be clear
That guy who sang it is tulu set a trend to imitate
Oka naumfwa but this guy is not having a Kamushi accent. He is alright. Thats Not to endorse his music because its not up to standard.
What would you say about the old superstars like Rikki Ililonga, Jagari Chanda, Keith Mhlevu who used to sing in English?
Dope!
Might as well call it AUTO TUNE my guy
