    • Everyone linked to MuMmembe should resign now or they risk being FIRED… It’s high time we cleansed the PF of all bad elements.

We cannot afford to have 2 centers of Power in the same state.. NO WAY, the illegal one has to be completely eliminated.

    • A clear sign that all is not well in the Police Force (PF). This party wont last its full 5 year term in office, and it’s a serious lesson to Zambians not to experiment with governance. Next time everyone must listen to their brains and not the NOISE when voting…

    • Ba Mwila,
Have you made enough for you to chuck out so early? If i were you i would hug the wall nomatter how hard Fat Albert kicks, so many would love to get your position, it’s an opportunity of a life time especially in that part of the world were higher posts are given without much thought, think about your pension you can never serve enough, you just have to make sure you keep accumulating for life is unpredictable. I would understand if your life was in danger, i hope you have enough to sustain your life, enjoy your ealy pension! But fat Albert is a tornado!

    • @Nubian, you maybe right. But I think its because of Friday 13th today.
Just as I predicted, its PF’s catastrophic month, the signs has started…

  1. This is good. Who can like to work under GBM as boss. Some of you are ignorant about GBM. The man is a savage and hull insults more than a street kid can do.

That is why I keep saying Kabimba is hard on principles and not ignorant as G.B.M. I like the man Kabimba because some times I can make sense from what he speaks. But what GBM speaks is absolutely rubish.

But this chap GBM is holding Sata to ransom over financial assistance he rendered. Remember GBM helped him out when there was an issue of $500,000 money loundering and two motor vehicles seized from SATA and his wife by DEC.

GBM lied that he is the one who gave him the cash. This could be the reason we have GBM being so big headed in PF and Sata can’t do anything. Let him touch GBM and you will see what will happen to…

  2. Well, the PF embraced tribalism and nepotism as their hallmark. Sata has implemented it to the hilt ……. and now this is the backlash. Mwila expected to jump into Sakeni’s Luapula boots but this has not happened. So now the burnout. We are watching.

  3. Unbelievable, things are happening at break-neck speed, we can’t keep pace. A Zambian minister stepping down voluntarily? Something must be cooking.

  4. Eeh, Congratulations Davis Mwila for reducing by one the bloated Cabinet. I hope the little we save from your gesture will go towards buying BCG, that is if you will not be replaced!

  5. Time to grab my popcorn & take a seat in front of the newest soap opera in the motherland. I’m loving every sequel to this classic dubbed “And They Lived Happily NEVER After!”
    Lights!
    Three…
    Two…
    Action!

  6. Is this man a Zambian? Surely he cant be if he resigns – Zambians cant, neva resign. This man must be sent back to where he comes from?

  7. The first reason that comes to mind is the fact that there were two promotions made of two Deputy Ministers to the position of full minister yesterday. Could this be a trigger? Feeling unappreciated? Or could it be he is the MP who was involved in misappropriation of CDF funds when a dilapidated minibus was bought after months of non delivery of the said as an ambulance which it is claimed cost over Kr 100 000 for something under Kr18 000? We all await to hear the true story that has triggered this resignation. A few more will spell the self suicide of PF.

  8. A PF minister resigning ? Thats definately a first! PF is imploding.Popcorns please this is the best meteorite show since 2011.

  9. By the time the President wakes up to intervene in this shambles, there will be no PF left to talk about. I’m very sad myself because I think that things were beginning to really go well for them and I have actually liked some of their policies. But we seem to have a party in government that is behaving like a snake with many heads. I don’t think that at this moment the President knows who is his true servant and who is telling him the real truth. Unfortunately, this doesn’t help PF win the coming by-elections. Where has all this come from? Where has it come from? Does the president ask himself that question? Or may be he is the actual instigator…which I hope not. I have already worked out my maths, 2016 we will have a different party in power – whether PF likes it or not.

  10. Luapula = 100% PF Vote
    Cabinet Minister = 1

GBM will always be a liability to PF.
Why has the President allowed him to perform Winter’s party duties?

  11. People are misunderstanding the internal wrangles in PF. GBM is not for PF president. He is being used to dismantle the Kabimba camp because he has the muscle. Probably Chikwanda is really the final man for the president. GBM will therefore still remain powerful having paved the way for their man. I think Kabimba camp had become too powerful because were trying to consolidate with Masebo coming into govt, Provincial PF secretary etc. Kabimba camp never cast their net wide enough to take as many from northern and luapula on their side. By concentration themselves with people around Lusaka, it exposed them.

    • Good analysis lol!! Thats exactly the issue here. The Bemba speaking and the non Bemba speaking wrestling for power. The Bemba speaking felt the non Bembas were becoming too powerful with Membe backing them full time. They felt they were loosing power so they got GBM to do the dirty thing. Pres. Sata, the Chikwandas are solidly behind GBM. Otherwise Sata would have acted because GBM is undermining his SG.

  12. We suggest a meeting of stake holders to look at this looming differences in PF.If as a party we are not careful this will be the end of our road. Please let us work together as a team to develop Zambia

  13. Winter and GBM should be failed for national interest. Let them go ba SATA. we dont want war in Zambia. If we Zambians cant respect ourselves who will respect us?

  14. PF will go down as a party which disintegrated from inside out and pressure from outside as well. In short there will be no trace of this party in a few years time.

  15. Resignations from Ministerial positions are rare phenomena in Africa. Very soon we shall know the background for Davies Mwila’s display of his frank approach to national politics.

Apparently, how have the senior PF leaders adapted to working in a Govt with little or no option to contribute to the democratic management of the Cabinet etc?

We are merely seeing the tip of the iceberg.

  16. I know how disappointed the MPs and people of Luapula in general must be. After delivering to the PF all the constituencies except one (for Hon. Mbulikulima) the province has remained least in terms of any prioritized development projects. The province had only on full cabinet minister the late Sakeni and after his demise that position has now gone to Northern Province. People of Luapula need to wake up. In terms of the Human Development Index Luapula was at par with Western Province. With the attention that Western Province is receiving due to Barotse agreement , Luapula is definetely at the bottom of the ladder of development. Hon. Mwila we understand your frustration

  17. It is not shocking.Stop yo tribalism as that will never help u.Yo hate 4 Bembas ‘ll never be justified.lt z not help u .lt won’t take u to state house.Actually u’re planting a time bomb as no sane Bemba will sit down while u varify him/her like dat.

  18. If u think u shall benifit from yo tribal politics,u are cheating yourselves. No sane person says pf will be in power forever but the method u are using, u anti pf will follow u even after pf is buried and forgetten.

  19. @Osmore. That’s the problem with you Bembas, when one makes a personal critical analysis, he’s branded a tribalist. The man @ Kabunke is making a personal opinion for objective debate, but already you are being threatened!

Engange the man with intellectual substance and convince him with a fair debate. It must not always be bows and arrows, pangas and pebbles and jaw jaw jaw for you people. Stop being paranoid!

  20. Mwila was frustrated for not have been appointed as full time cabinet minister. However, in politics making a decision that is worth is always hard and as such Mwila has made possibly the best or worst decision. Time is the determining factor

  21. Mwila has been with PF as a Member of Parliament (MP) since 2006 and just as MP but an active one that contributed to good debate as an opposition MP.He is one of those that worked hard and openly fought for PF despite the difficult situation of being in opposition in Zambia.

PF won with a major landslide in Luapula and the expectation was that some of MPs that had stood with the party for a long time would be Cabinet Ministers. Alas only was appointed! While the greatest appreciation the people of Luapula expect from PF is development,at individual level it those who sacrificed with Mr.Sata expected some appreciation by getting full cabinet portfolios.

It is not yet known why Davies Mwila has resigned but it may have something to do with that! Let us wait and hear!!

  22. Those who were busy insulting MMD and UPND should keep calm and watch the movie that is unfolding. You cannot have Wynter and GBM in the same party. Soon enough people like Miles Sampa will also be forced out for speaking against GBM (also that he wants to be an intellectual but couldn’t debate against Muhabi Lungu). 2016 will be interesting.

If Dora manages to stand in the bye elections, it shall be national mourning for PF cadres. You cannot simply insult people anyhow and expect them to vote for you again. The voters have no money in their pockets, not even small business loans. Tiye!

  23. Kabimba, even dogs have there days. This should teach you that cadres are there for hire and the highest bidder gets there services. you used the same cadres, the so called Sulubanji against Lubinda and now some high spending authority is paying them against you. That is democracy baba, useful idiots at work

  24. GBM at work again he is using all his resources even if it means hiring thugs, but what is the president doing in this issue, we are tired of endorsement pronouncements, barely 2 yrs in power

  25. Well not sure of what kabimbas done but he is material if he works on his arrogance.others are simply party cadres.Kabimba indorse sata and remain in the game .
