up support for Dr. Chilufya (right)
The Southern African Center for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) has observed that the recent statement attributed to vice President Guy Scott that he together with President Michael Sata and PF Secretary General Wynter form the A-Team in the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) is divisive.
SACCORD Executive Director Boniface Cheembe said the Vice president’s utterances during a rally in Mansa over the weekend have the potential to bring out about divisions in the ruling party.
Mr Cheembe noted that such statements undermine all other members in the ruling party that have contributed to the growth and consolidation of the strength of the PF.
Mr Cheembe has told Qfm in an interview that much as the trio have were instrumental in the formation of the ruling PF, it is important to realize that other members have also contributed greatly to the growth of the party.
He has advised that going forward, senior party leaders such as Dr. Scott who is also PF vice president should appreciate the efforts of other members who have contributed to the growth of the ruling party and also desist from issuing such divisive statements.

I think Scott ‘s A team comments have been taken out of context
Thanks
Remove lozis and tongas zambia is a peaceful country
How can a tribe say we eat crocodiles and sour milk that’s lozis aand tongas for you
Ba s accord mulesabaila fye imwe lekeni sata ateke
@Mushota i agree with you.His statement was taken out of context. He was just joking. It is the media that is creating this storm in a teacup.
To advise a mad made is a useless exercise people will look at you like you are not normal. Jo cant be advised to me he was born out of homo.. who only thinks of tribe than anything else.
LT can you please ban this Jo ? I doubt if he if he even bemba. He must be some other tribe and trying to make us bemba’s look bad. Please twapapata this guy aletusebanya. This level of tribalism is unacceptable.

Freedln5 of speech ba guy
Mushota has said it all. The words have been taken out of context. Mr. Cheembe has either no sense of humour or does not understand metaphors. Or both.
@Jo, All civilized people in the world eat sour milk. It may come in the form of sour milk, sour cream, yogurt, etc. You have a mental age of an amoeba.
But how come Sata has never left any member of the A team to rule when he goes out.
@Jo you are worrisome fellow, i think you are someway in Chinama Mental health center. What a monkey eater! you have inherited your ancestral spirits which leaved in 19th century. You must be one of the Mailon brothers, because that’s were you belong in the bush.
never thought i’d see the day that the once great and objective ‘Nine Chale’ downgraded to the level of Mushota. 🙁
@Jo, definitely you don’t have cattle where you come from. My dear there’s nothing wrong with drinking or eating stuff with fresh or sour milk. Its a tradition among most ethnicities who keep cattle. Tongas, Lozis, Tswanas , Ndebeles , etc are milk drinkers in its fresh and sour form. What do you think Yogurt is you primitive swine? I doubt your system can even digest milk. It is foreign to you.
And by the way there’s a difference between a Hopani and a Kwena (crocodile). Please tell the id.i.ots who are teaching you either Tonga or Lozi studies at your Mushindo University to revise the curriculum.
I concur with @ 1.5 Zambiano. This Jo character is not Bemba at all but some idiot trying to incite hatred. Shame on you chi-colour chobe! Sorry for the language but such people make my blood boil.
Jo, you are abusing your freedom of speech by insulting other tribes. I actually think you are deliberately insulting your own tribe to incite hatred for Bemba. Zambiano is right.
I am surprised at Guys scott ‘s A team statement. It is highly expected from these PF bunch of jokers. Sata and his vice president are both jokers. Never take any thing they say seriously otherwise you will lose your mind out of disappointment.
Zambiano – relax. That is the mess this website (and a lot of others I have visited) has allowed – this tribal mudslinging and bloodletting. I am always on edge fearing that some loose cannon might just play out this venom for real.
My opinion is its gross to eat sour milk for lunch period
Pardon my deviation from the statement by saccord who are just looking for attention
Please try to moderate your sentiments, because this how I see myself every time that I go to vote.

@jo
Your are a very funny character indeed. What people eat should not be the reason to demonise them. Bembas eat monkeys , Easterners eat rats, Lozis eat Crocodiles , Tongas eat Sour milk. So what if they do? Crocodile meat is a delicacy in the western world. Sour milk is treasured in all the European countries. If you eat yogart , and cheese, then you have eaten sour milk.
Please desist from issuing these tribal rants and concentrate on debating the real issues.
It is not right for people to conclude that when ever Bembas rule Zambia things go from better to worse because of a few individuals like the late Chiluba and now Sata.
Zambians should in this day and age rise above tribal politics because it is divisive and dangerous to our national unity.
Jo calm down this is just…
Monkeys are quite adorable pets!
RB had some in his backyard until one of them was pissed off with him! The unfortunate ape was deported and handed over to its owner! Unfortunately for RB, the ape and the owner regrouped and reclaimed plot one. This was the genesis of Zed problems. Decision making is from one branch to the other. We now have more branch managers than underground Mbeba managers we had under RB. Underground managers were hiding huge sums of cash underground. Branch managers rarely touch the ground. They are too busy with branch affairs and don’t have time for the grassroots and anything to do with the ground and the underground!
So be careful about what you eat!
You are what you eat!
Is this what people voted for?
IN THE NAME OF JESUS I SWEAR I WILL NEVER RESPOND OR ADVISE @JO UNLESS IAM A MENTALY DISTURBED PERSON LIKE HIM.
True, its only poverty that can make other members continue after such unappreciative comments.Overall development can be shattered with other members feeling like spectator ions.
If people want to remove you from the house that you built, what do you expect me to say… I am the owner of the house and I am going no where….I am belong to the ‘A” team… Do you see the context?
they dont trust each other
Funny how something which was more of a joke than a firm statement has taken a life of its own .You just have to love how the media picks on those subtle details and later come up with something more amplified and full of life.
Issuing ‘jokes’ such as these amid the current PF wrangles when you are VP is stupid. and thoughtless. He wanted to send a message to GBM & Co, and anyone calling for the removal of Wynter.
Many a statement made in the guise of a joke show a person’s cowardice. If he was joking, it’s equivalent to “Nde yangala fye”, something bullies say to excuse the damage they have deliberately inflicted on another.
Why is he Joking around anyway? If I want comedy, I know where to find it. From him I want and expect leadership – not jokes without a punchline. Please, don’t vilify the press.
Making jokes(a light moment) is one of the most effective ways to keep an audience engaged(i personally do it every time when presenting things to audiences).I see know harm in that apart from it touching some few cords in sensitive individuals like you.
*I see no harm in that apart from it touching some few cords in sensitive individuals like you.*
Happy and mature is a man who knows when and how to joke.
@Saulosi
Clearly you don’t get my point.
By the way, you’re preaching to the choir. Ice-breakers and APPROPRIATE jokes are a normal practice in carrying an audience with you. If it was a joke, it was poor judgement on his part, at a sensitive time for his party.
And thank you for calling me sensitive – there’ve been others who’ve accused me of the very opposite (and I must confess, rightly so).
Saulosi my boy, you continue to disappoint me with the levels of shallowness you are willing to stoop. Black Mama is right and I know you know this. What Scott did is like making dead-baby jokes in front of a mother whose just had a miscarriage. Why couldn’t he make a joke about Nevers’ bald head or HH’s bitterness? Why touch on something that he knows will piss people off and you try to defend this? Well looks like his ‘joke’ didnt go down well in lusaka coz chaps have risen up and want Kabimba gone. Try to be mature a little in your articulation boyo. Don’t let all the tuma thumbs up you get from clueless PF cadres who see you as the only cadre who can articulate at our level dissuade intelligent observation, ok young man?
@High Speed Black Mama -Someone’s still…have you tried to ask yourself what he said before and after the joke ? This is journalism my friend.Journalists just picks out things that can sell papers.LT and other media organizations left out other things and instead reported this because they know that this is the news that will impress you and this other guy above this post called dudelove. This is a technique most of us seasoned speakers use, we call it “throwing the monkey from the back”.A human mind can only concentrate for about 30 minutes and after that it switches off and doesn`t concentrate.Jokes have proven to be an effective way of rousing that brain back to the initial alert levels.Try to read the full Excerpt of the speech if you can find one then you will know what i mean.
you chaps need to sue the ‘funny man’ you hired to supply your monkey jokes coz i dont think many people laughed.
you’ve just defeated your own argument. He should by now be familiar with what you describe as the press cherry-picking and take care not to make statements like he did – IF at all it was a joke.
By the way “throwing the monkey from the back” is not incorrect both grammatically and definition-wise – from one seasoned speaker to another.
typo: IS incorrect
It might be grammatically incorrect but it is what it is.There are so many terms in everyday use that are not grammatically correct. And i haven`t defeated my argument in any way.Anyway my time online has come to an end.Have a pleasant day.
no, no no Saulosi come back! you can’t retreat now?!!!
come back this instant! – don’t deprive me of a chance to make you see sense – please?
Thumbs up Saulosi.I just love how you handle this as.sho.les who carelessly like replying to your post.I like your maturity.Keep it up.
please don’t deprive me of a chance to exorcise your extreme cadre-ism. Come back please?
@High Speed Black Mama -Someone’s still….sorry i have to go.I have an academic career to build here. You see me commenting most of the times because i spend almost half of my day in front of the pc reading articles and other things. Now i have to do something practical away from the Pc.Remember the saying that “time is money.”Am out.
ok. goodbye.
Nice debate gentleman.Saulosi keep up with the spirit.
But SACCORD, the PF disputes are an internal matter. Why the concern? Don’t begin pushing your nose into other institutions. That is how PF is governed and leave it to them. If they want to fight, its okey as long they are delivering on what they promised Zambian, if they don’t…..2016 is drawing near with each day that passes.
I like your comment!!!
yaba.
For once Mushota has said something sensible.
That’s her MO. When people ignore her vitriol for a while, she feels neglected needs to be relevant again and so says something sensible.
Fear not, the monster has been fed and will return to spewing nonsense in 3….2….1…
Who cares? Let them crumble.
When the pace of change inside an organization is slower than the pace of change outside the organization, then you can be sure the end of that entity is near.Zambians have greatly changed in the way they see the PF but the PF is only focused on petty issues and even blindly fueling their own political exit .
@Jo. What has this nonsense to do with Lozis & Tongas. If Lozis are nothing give them their barotseland you monkey.
Don’t mind the i.d.iot called Jo. He is just some low life trouble maker trying to incite you to hate us.
The best thing to do is to ignore this Jo. He is crazy and does not deserve our attention.
There is a retarded guinea pig calling itself jo on here. All bloggers should ignore it instead of giving it prominence by responding to its postings.
stop talking about tribes. its one Zambia one nation, please leave the issue of tribes alone Zambians are not interested on tribalism. For your own information there is no tribe in Zambia which is big or grater than Zambia. All of us our home is Zambia you take it or leave it. we will all die here in Zambia because its our home. please leave the Tongas and the Lozis alone. such silly comments will only fuel up confusions and eventually civil war.
But I thought SACCORD was an NGO that has nothing to do with the ruling party’s internal politics. Leave them alone to mess themselves.
This Cheembe SACCORD is also a big problem. Why build a mountain out of nothing. You are exaggerating the context in which the Veep made this remark. Are you also bought by GBM to cause unnecessary confusions in PF ?
It is clear Sata is in a dilemma whether to please himself by firing his friends Wynter and Guy Scott Or letting his friends continue in government employment. It boggles the mind to imagine why Scott said the things he said in Luapula. That statement was careless even if it is true. But why say the obvious? Was he drunk? Why give Sata fuel to fire him? If Scott does not know, there’s nothing that would make Sata happy than firing him. If that happens, then Zambia would have had it because PF will totally become a party for lumpens. Mmembe, Wynter and Scott need to develop another strategy. The tribal clique with Sata in the background will soon be coming for them. You had won round one, please let sleeping dogs lie, Scott.
What difference would it make if
one calls it the TOP executive team
of the Party or the A-TEAM of the
party?
DOES IT MATTER WHEN ONE CALLS IT
S A C C O R D or U P N D?
They are one and the same people in
different feathers.
SACCORD has just become paranoiac. This issue is dead and Dr. Scott never meant any harm.
Jungle boy,
On whose side are you? LOL.
