PRESIDENT Michael Sata says the PF government achieved a great deal of positive things under 90 days from the time it was voted into power.

Mr Sata said that his government had among other achievements increased the salaries and conditions of service for civil servants in line with the PF manifesto as promised during the 2011 election campaigns.

“In 90 days we have achieved a great deal as we have increased salaries for civil servants,” he said.

The President was speaking on Saturday when he featured on a special programme on Yangeni Catholic radio station in Mansa.

Mr Sata was in the province to thank the people of Mansa for voting for Chitalu Chilufya of the PF in the Mansa central parliamentary by election after the death of Kennedy Sakeni who was also Information and Broadcasting Services Minister.

When asked by the presenter of the programme Mumbi Mumbi what the PF had achieved in line with its 90 campaign promise, Mr Sata said they were a number of achievements by his government which people countrywide were enjoying.

Mr Sata said that apart from improving the standard of living for people through improved salaries of civil servants, the PF has intensified the rehabilitation and constructions of the roads, schools and other infrastructure around the country.

He said that even people who were cycling on bicycles were enjoying riding on better roads.

The President said this was the more reason why he was appealing tomembers if Parliament to work hard in consultation with local people so that they together accelerate development.

Mr Sata said that it was sad that the country was facing many problems when the country had a lot of natural resources which could be used to revamp the economy.

    • How was the sitting arrangements? Munkombwe and Lameck Phiri in kasama?.
Yes, a lot of achievements in 90 days?.
But sir we still need those PF cadres to killed that Chelston boy to be brought to book.
      And Kapasa killings.

    • @Gundown I couldn’t have said it better myself! It’s interesting to note that while the world is going green and encouraging the use of bicycles and developing excellent public transportation to reduce carbon emissions, our president thinks its a good thing that more people are driving in Zambia. We can not move forward with people stuck in 1955.

    • @gundown cipuba and yu are glorifying him. The presido is right…salaries have been increasde, roadnetwork is being done, fertiliser inputs have been dispatched, more universities, more beautiful women, more sporting facilities like stadiums and many more which are not been appreciated by monisters like @gundown

    • Brilliant move Sata. He is parading his successor Kabimba.Other than that his rhetoric is all lies and cheap politicking.

    • Mr President Sir, never mind these good for nothing traitors you serve, they will never ever appreciate the efforts you have made to help drive this great young nation to greater heights! One day they will surely see what you mean in that speech!
As for you my fellow bloggers taking pride in mocking our leader, take a step back and breath, dont you all know that sometimes Numbers and Time frame is not of the essence but the quality of work? Shame on you all still waiting and counting on 90 days, you are even busy making childish comparrisons? hihihihi… typical zambians you never cease to amaze me!

  1. Does the President hear what he is saying? I thought 90 days was only three months. How long has the PF been in office, 90days? Granted, we have seen some serious activity in some areas but to say this has been done in 90days! NO WONDER WE DO NOT NEED A NEW CONSTITUTION. We only need to amend the existing one!

    • @Osadabwa iwe
you think he can ever go to Radio phoenix!!! he cant and wont!!… thats why he did even allow the national wide broadcast of that stations..
He is better believed in mansa… maybe people there are abit backward

  2. F A C T

IT TOOK 72 000 DAYS FOR MMD TO
    INSTAL A ROBOT IN LUAPULA.
    WERE AS
    IT TOOK BARELY 100 DAYS
TO PLAN FOR ROAD AND LUAPULA
    UNIVERSITY PROJECTS IN LUAPULA.

    • @Luapula Premier
FACT: ALL THE PROJECTS YOU CREDIT THE PF WITH WERE ACTUALLY INITIATED BY THE LATE MWANAWASA. PF FOUND THE PLANS IN PLACE AND IN ADVANCED STAGE. The truth of the matter is, the only thing the PF may be credited with as their own is decentralizatoin thru the creation of districts. Do you now see that your FACTS are not facts after all?

    • iwe chikkala you are a waste of sperm.honestly in this era you can still call traffic lights ati ama robot? muli chisushi tata nga iyu wine father amilisha ubufi

    • planning and implementation are two different things. PF are dreamers but implementation is nil. RB and his MMD were practical guys and went down to implement issues. We had consecutive bumper harvests, democracy was thriving and at least, RB was using ENGLISH to communicate. SATA is Bemba, through and through. I dont understand Bemba and he expects me to listen.

    • Point of correction. Some of the projects done in Luapukla were from USAID where new MP was working.Tell the truth and shame the devil.Credit will be given where it is due.90 days was just a hoax o hoodwink voters

  3. Mr president i think you run out of your medicine in under 90days.You’ve seriously lost it you even believe your own 90 day lies.

  4. am I seeing or hearing from riff raffs? people of motherland deserve better. yes in 90 days we have seen rise of fuel prices, mealie meal up, transport up, poverty up. be serious mr president. we need real change not rhethoric

  5. Mr President you have done very well in a short period. Universties, Roads, Clinics, bridges, salaries, mines , jobs, etc……WELL DONE SATA! ULIMWAUME!!

  6. 90 days worked for him and he truly believes in it. Interesting concept and interesting to discover that he considers improving the conditions of civil servants as the vibrate way to revamp the economy. He should be told that the civil service, is mostly a consumption side of the economy which must be heavily supported by the private sector side of the economy through sound and fair taxation system. However such talk is misunderstood by PF supporters.

  7. Ba Sata….I think the lies you tell have confused you into thinking you you have delivered in 90 days. I am shocked to hear you say this. Or maybe its that little weasel sitting next to you that has convinced you? Have you taken a genuine look around Zambia to determine what is happening? PF cadres might be benefiting from RDA contracts, etc…but Zambians that genuinely work for their money are feeling the pinch. There are a lot of hardships out there. And this is only the beginning. Maize from last season was not collected and is getting soaked. What has been collected is with private millers and not with Pathetic Failing FRA. Inputs for this season are yet to be out there. Come 2014/2015, we will have hunger in this country. And all you know is campaign!!!90 days my foot!!!!

  8. I think, 90 days is prohetic when it come to PF – it refers to their term or terms of office, not literal 90 days. Otherwise, how can a grown up adult keep talking of having achieved anything, worse much, in 90 days, and talks so as if the days are still continuing, when the literal days passed without anything much? Tell me, when did the Civil Servants salaries go up (never mind that some are still down, under strikeable conditions); wasn’t that more than a year later? And, is that the most important development one can boast of sure; as if we were all CCs? Shame on mother Zambia!

  9. This is total madness, foolishness. Has anything really changed in this country, Rupiah Banda too did more roads in a less than 3 years under the formula 1 road works. so much wrong has taken place in 90 – 300 days of PF than the whole 7years of Mwanawasa. Surely, with all the poverty around the country, a leader can adamantly say ‘the development that our people are enjoying around the country’ atase!!!

  10. The PROBLEM is not Mr SATA but we Zambians bcos we continue to debate seriously when we know for sure that the old man is undoubtedly MENTALLY DISTURBED.

  11. It is not in the bible as Zed Patriot has quoted (written). It was written by John Dryden. He said and I quote;

“For those whom God to ruin has design’d, He fits for fate, and first destroys their mind.”

    John Dryden

  12. Sata is indeed sick! Sometimes we want to believe so much that this man is okay but every time he opens his mouth he proves us otherwise. 90 days my foot! Can’t Dr Kaseba really do anything about his sickness?

  13. Anyone that thinks or believes sata and panga family have done anything for this country are more senile than the one lying you have to be an ***** to think that finishing the countries reserves is work thats how kaponyas think no tomorrow no future

  14. no wonder he ran away from all radio stations of lusaka which were is main play grounds prior to 2011 elections and appeared in a remote area where the villagers have no spine to ask him questions, why cant he also go to mongu and appear on radio there,he knows it the lozis gonna burst his asss

  15. Pity the man; to him 2 years is still 90 days. Mr Sata has made good pronouncements about urging MPs to work hard and there is activity in road works but to say we have achieved what we promised is a dangerous sign on the sanity of the boss. Zambia is worse than it was 2 years ago. Here is evidence:
    1. The farmers have not received in puts for this season and today is 2nd Dec
    2. The constitution debate is headless
    3. The business environment is at its worst
    4. Politically, we are back to the colonial era where free expression is taboo with blood thirsty cadres in every street
    5. we have a bloated government which is heavily tribal.
    What have you achieved?

    • Good analysis of the failures.

Let me list some of the promises of the PF
      1. Media freedom
      2. Removing of the archic Public order Act
      3. Reducing of the fuel pump price because RB was stealing with his children
      4. Distribution of Farm inputs in good time.
      5. Restoration of Barotseland agreement
      6. Reducing the size of Govt
      7. Decentralise the operations of Govt
      8. Reduce Tax on Citizen and let mines pay more
      9. Fight corruption
      10. Constitution in 90 days
      11. Load shedding thing of the past in 90days
      12. Build up roads
      13. Build universities in all provinces
      14. Create Jobs for the youths
      15. Clear streets of vendors by building bigger markets
      16. Good governance

Lets judge the Man on the above and see what is the score. I have difficulties to give an above average

  16. @ john its you dat is mad, next time u say such a thin abt our president I’ll make sure u and ur poverty stricken family r completely wiped out of the surfaces of this earth.and don’t think we can’t trace u,try us if u want.and dat goes for all of u speakin ill abt our president

  17. With due respect to yo opinions may I simply say that a fair comment will be made after Sata has left office. In the mean time we are all spectators as he holds the driving seat. Of course he can’t think like you and me because he is a an individual with a different mind, personality and character. Our only hope is to have the best out of this leadership as we awaits the perfect ruler-ship of our Lord Jesus. Even so, Come Lord Jesus. Amen.

    • Good comment,
Though the spectator attitude of Zambians is the one which always plunge us into disasters. All the programs are not in systems but in people’s heads. For example only the president knows how we will progress with the constitution issues. Suppose he dropped dead today,God forbid,we will be in deep trouble. We will remain like Zambian football spectators when zambia is 4 – 0 down. Hands on our chicks.
I pray for divine health and hevenly wisdom for HEMCS.

  18. SAMPA@24 .WELL SPOKEN BRO. RIFF RAFFS CANT SEE THAT THIS MAN IS CREATING NEW NKONGOLE BY FIRST DEPLETING THE NATIONAL COFFERS. WHY? BECAUSE THEY ARE CADRES.THEY THINK OF TODAY ONLY, ATI MAILO FIKAISOVA.

  19. Are we still counting 90 days?

My my my. Or have the PF run out of things to say.
The Kwacha is now trading at K6 for $1 — this is the highest I have ever seen.
In two short years, we have dug ourselves so deep in debt that we are back to HIPC status.
Fuel is at its highest at K10, land is mismanaged and ******* expensive!!
And RTSA is on our a** when we try to drown our sorry.

“We have delivered a lot in 90 days” — yes, poverty and a bleak future for mother Zambia.

    #Bufi

  20. The 90-day promise was meant for his relatives and tribesmen and he is fulfilling that everyday. The appointments in cabinet, embassies are a testimony to this.

  21. The problem Satan has is one, he doesn’t know whether he is telling the truth or not. remember he is the father of all lies.

  22. Those who feel pf has done nothing since it asumed office let them die if they want because their failed coments will not help change reality. Ifwe fwebo mwita abatutu ku luapula tuletasha elyo tuka voter namu 2016 ni SATA PABWATO tatulafika bt natutampa ukwikuta while tuli pamumana.

    • Sorry you feel that way Funwell, but Sata has COMPLETELY failed this country. In the short time he has been president, the price of fuel and all other commodities has doubled. The Kwacha has moved from 4.5 to 6 — almost half against the dollar.
We have borrowed so much money and have reached HIPC poverty levels.

I’m not sure what country you are living in, but in Zambia, I think that spells failure.

      #OneZambia

  23. Truth be told, HEMCS has COMPLETELY failed this country. In the short time he has been president, the price of fuel and all other commodities has doubled. The Kwacha has moved from 4.5 to 6 — almost half against the dollar.
We have borrowed so much money and have reached HIPC poverty levels.
Several people have lost their jobs and money has been lost hiring and firing people, endless COIs and unnecessary districts.

I’m not a smart man, but I think that spells failure.

    Complete failure.

    #OneZambia

  24. Thanks Sata for giving me good salary, Now I can pay rentals, buy any type of expensive TV, shoes, eat PIZZA and give some to my poor relatives, a thing which did not happen in the MMD error where all my salary went to house rentals. Thanks Sata and PF.

Peace and Prosperity to Mother Zambia.

  25. Before Sata leaves office every province will have a university. Let him start with home first Muchinga University, Luapula University, Nothern University. The Lozis too much noise give them Mongu University too so they can shut up. Next will be Choma University, then Chipata University and last will be Solwezi University. Central has Mulungushi and Nkrumah Universities and Lusaka has plenty. That is development. What more can you ask a President to give!!! Sata of the Zambian soil!!!!

  26. I hear the Big Boss will take a rail ride to see the rail rehabs going on. He will not be amused with the encroachment on rail reserve land by houses illegality built hardly 15 metres from the railway line!

Transport and Communication Minister, Local govt Minister, Lusaka Mayor, DC please take caution and be ready to answer a few difficult questions!
