FAZ Super League side Zesco United has announced that it has extended
its kit sponsorship deal with Umbro.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Zesco said the kit sponsorship deal
with Umbro will run until 2016.
“Zesco United Football club would like to announce that it has
extended its kit sponsorship deal with UK based Umbro,” the statement
read.
“The signing ceremony was held in Cape Town South-Africa on December
4, 2013. Club Executive board chairman Kenneth Muteto signed for the
club while Donovan Bell who is Sales manager for Umbro Africa,
represented the kit sponsors in a deal will run until 2016.”
“This is the biggest technical sponsorship ever signed by a Zambian
club as it includes the main team, the under 19 and under 14 boys
teams, the girls team and all developmental teams under ZESCO United
FC namely Zesco Shockers(Mongu),Malaiti Rangers(Lusaka),Zesco
Solwezi,Zesco Mansa and Zesco Vic Falls (Livingstone).”
Zesco will also buy 4000 replicas from Umbro.
